Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink.
It's messing up my internet connection, flooding the basement, causing mildew in the garage and cars, turning our well water piss yellow and undrinkable, and making me generally grumpy and impatient.
I'm very used to rain, I grew up in a rain forest. It didn't snow in winter, it rained. But everyone has their limits. Usually it's when your stuff starts getting ruined. mad
Very warm Caribbean air, but I would give anything for it to be -20C and sunny if it means I could have a glass of water -_-
I hope everyone is enjoying better weather!

I friggin' haaate rain. Well, to that extent. ...Okay actually, I almost always hate the rain. I hate Vancouver's misty s**t rain that just ******** up my glasses trying to walk to work, but doesn't even get me legitimately wet. I don't know why but I have less of a problem with the rain if it just full on pours. confused
sad Poor house! That kind of stuff is not fun to fix up.
Lately, it's been so wonked up. Today was beautiful in the way that it was sunny for the most part, but dark, menacing clouds loomed in the distance waiting to strike! It rained while being sunny, and a couple of people were like "omg it feels like it'll snow, it's so cold!" but when I got out there it was ...normal. I know the pre-snow feel and that was definitely not it, haha. That's my fav! Unpredictable Vancouver weather, lolz.

I like it when is rains - thunderstorms especially. There is just something so relaxing about the pattering white noise of the droplets upon the roof; the subdued and gloomy greyness of the world where everything is lush, moist, and brought into fantastic sharpness of definition; the crack of thunder and the dancing glow of lightning; to go outside and breathe in the fresh, moist air and feel the rain on skin. I feel at ease and yet energized. To curl up with a book or write or draw and have it flow with that same energy too is just icing on the cake.

I normally like rain. I don't care for hot weather, I find it is easier to dress for cold than to dress for hot. And even though I have always lived in cold and uninsulated houses, I still find it easier to stay warm than to cool off.
I dislike snow. I am a Vancouverite at heart. The sloppy snow you get there only means trouble. People who panic driving in it, car accidents, people not showing up for work, buses not running, cities without a ploughing budget in the first place... It's always slush, never the fine non-sticking powder you get in Calgary or here in NS, and in addition you have damp cold when it is cold enough to snow. So no, I am completely biased against snow, even with my better experiences in NS. I prefer Van's normally rainy winters <3
