Well... I've been thinking about this for a while now, and this is something I've noticed has been a problem in many other guilds I belong to. Hardly anyone will post. I belong to a guild where there are over 100 members and only 5 or so are active.
I was thinking that maybe we should go through and pm the members who have never posted, posted only once, or who haven't posted in a while. That might help remind members that our guild exists. *lol* But if pming them doesn't work to gain their attention, then perhaps we might have to remove them from the guild?

I agree, with one exception. I'm sure some of you active types have some inactive personal friends. If you do, you realize that it would suck if they got banned. Then you wouldn't be able to hang out at the evilest place in Gaia with your less devoted friends, even when you wanted to. I say we should make a list of less active friends to keep onboard when we ban the inactive minions. Sound good? sweatdrop

I don't see it as fair that other people get the boot yet others can stay when they're just as inactive. I would think it would be pretty easy to get them to participate more, especially due to the fact that you're friends with them.

I agree. We shouldn't show any favouritism. It would be bad over all. If people are going to be in the guild, they should post at least evey once in a while.

You might want to list the members you've pm'ed in this thread, if you take it upon yourself to pm them, so we aren't sending out any duplicates.
So far I've sent messages to:

If you feel the need to boot out the inactive members of the guild, I have no objections. All I ask is that you give newer members a little more time since they haven't been in the guild all that long.

hm. Well, taking in new people is always a chance anyway, so of course we have to give them one. At least, that's my logic...

Here I was complaining about inactivity and I disappear for a little while. redface
I just thought I'd pop in and let you guys know what's been going on.
I transfered to a new department at my work, so I've been in training for the past month and a half. I'm glad for the switch because now I'm not all stressed out and crap. Not being stressed out is good, but on the down side, I don't want to stab random people anymore. sad
I've also been taking some time away from the computer so I can work on my relationship with my bf. We live in the same house and we hardly ever talked to each other. I'm also trying to fix a few friendships and whatnot... It's just nice to be getting out of the house.
And I don't have my subscription to WoW anymore, so that's also another reason why I haven't been on so much. XD

Sorry I haven't been posting as much as I should have either, and I'm the damn leader. stressed My computer has been even crappier than usual lately, plus I've been working my a** off on a couple of comic series I've been selling at school. But no more excuses from me. I'll try harder to post more often. sweatdrop

It's completely understandable. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Very sad. But hey, gaia and this guild aren't going anywhere while everyone's away so as long as you guys come back eventually we should be good. xd
