You should actually focus on vending more. You want to to try to get your funds up to at LEAST 1.5mill before you start hoarding because it severely limits the potential amount of profit you could be making. Plus there isn't much below 400k which would yield you a quick return most items below 400k are long term investments.
If you're still really bent on hoarding though I'd recommend RIG's only because the max you should be holding onto them for is only 3 months and by then you could potentially double your investment. They're basically a somewhat affordable quick investment.
