I can hardly call myself a DDR fan, but its an awesome game. =D
The only access to the game I have is through the arcade versaion at a theatre near my house. Which means I'm only a beginner player, thought I've been at it over a year. $1 a play is hard on the pocketbook.

-Level: Light/Standard. Heavy if it's a MUCH slower song. If I'm at my friend's house (she has a DDR mat too), I do double on light.
-How Long Have You Been Playing? 3-4 years.
-Favourite Song(s): Mm...to do DDR to: Healing Vision: Angelic Mix-Light, and Rhythm and Police-Standard. I also like this one, I think it's called Candy. Can't remember. I haven't played in about a month. To just listen to: That's a toughie.
-Best Accomplishment(s): Doing Rhythym and Police on Standard on double and not collapsing or spraining an ankle. ._.
-Favourite Arcade Version: I don't get out that much.
-Favourite Home Version: Max
-Other Dancing Games You Enjoy: What? There are other dancing games?

Level: Light/Std. I've decided that in my case, it'll be hard to improve not because I can't do the steps, but I don't have the long term endurance you need to finish a heavy song.
How Long have you been playing: 2 years
Favorite Songs: Simply Being Loved, Cartoon Heroes, Exotic Ethnic, Dam Dariram, and others.
Best Accomplishments: Somehow managing to pass both Capt. Jack AND Cartoon Heroes on Standard consecutively...so...many...quarter steps....*cringes* and with B's no less!!
Fav. Arcade Version: The only one you find at the arcade is Extreme.
Fav. Home Version: I like Extreme 1...but I've yet to try Max or Max 2 in depth
Other Dance Games you Enjoy: Mmm...not many...then again I haven't tried.

Level: Standard, some heavy
-How Long Have You Been Playing? Hmm... maybe 2 years
-Favourite Song(s): Kind Lady, B4U, B2U, Moonlight Shadow, Long Train Running, and any other techno funky fun songs
-Best Accomplishment(s): Finally getting an A on B4U. Its the best I've felt in awhile, plus my first A. whee
-Favourite Arcade Version: Hmm.. I've only played 3rd Mix and some weird one at a bowling ally
-Favourite Home Version: DDR Max 2
-Other Dancing Games You Enjoy: Pump it Up
So does anyone know any good dance pads? I got a Red Octane but it crapped out. gonk I'd like a mid level pad. A hard pad would be cool but I lack a proper place for storage. The Red Octane was a hard foam pad. If possible I would also like to buy it in a store. But I'm also willing to buy it online.
