Does not seem realistic at the least. There is a possibility of that to occur but most likely through a different encounter.

Its like Independence Day... minus the more effective "wipe out humanity" technology.
An encounter like that is plausible, kill us, take our world.

Exactly so what if they decided to take us away? Like if the Earth is destined for destruction or they find us of worth and much use?

Meh, whatever happens... we're screwed in the end.
Be it,
being at the bottom of the intergalactic tech tree,
intergalactic diseases that come off the aliens,
intergalactic wars that we just happen to be in the middle of,
an intergalactic construction project (Look at Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy)
Or anything else intergalactic... we are bound to be screwed.

I would say if any alien race had that great of tech and didn't destroy themselves they would not want to destroy us. Anyways they'd just wait for us to destroy ourselves haha why waste resources conquering us when we'll just conquer ourselves given time.

It is plausible, but then again, what isn't? Anything could happen at this point, and why worry about it? Lets just embrace any interactions that we get and hope all goes well. Haha.

Stephen Hawking talked about this a while back. He warned against looking for aliens, because he felt that if we found them or visa versa, it would be similar to when the colonial-era whites entered North America, with us being the indigenous people.
Or in other words, such a meeting would be very, very bad for us.
I have no opinion one way or another. There's too many factors to consider to make form a strong opinion.
