Is there an item that you really want, or a particular type of item that you just have to have? Or do you just want to discuss one particular item? Well, Josh willing, this thread should be the place to go- RIG/CI items excluding, as there's already a thread for that located here. Even with all of those items removed from the list, however, that still leaves us with a great deal of items to discuss, from Animated to Evolving and from Gold Shop to Cash. So, pick an item (or type of items) and have at you! A quick note (and edit): Please note that this thread is not for posting the items you're questing for, keeping tabs on prices in the MP, or for items that you wish that Gaia would make. Instead, please go here for the Dream Items thread, here for discussing Marketplace-related things and here for the thread on items you think Gaia should make. Thank you. Also, please note that the Marketplace thread is also helpful for if you'd like help keeping track of the prices of items in case you forget to or don't have the time.

Well, my immediate reason for making this thread is because of the Astra-VII: Curse of the Gray Wizard. The item looks utterly amazing and, though it'd cost me 30k a month in upkeep to continue using it, it would provide me with a great way to do more black and white avatars. I've been wanting to do more for quite some time, but it's made excruciatingly difficult by the utter lack of good black, white and gray items. The fact that there's now a truly effective way of turning virtually anything into a black and white avatar is amazing to me, and I dearly want it; my only problem is that I simply can't afford both the item and the Stellarite both at the moment.
That aside, I have a habit of almost desperately wanting a lot of the better-looking "corsets," like the one out of The Widow and Midnight Club. I'm tempted to see about getting The Widow's Spirit as well at some point, though that's a hefty sum of gold for the item. Ah, well... One can hope, right?

You know, I quite like most of the Animated Items... Though you may have guessed that. Honestly, if you have one Stellarite in effect, you may as well get another animated item. Stellarite effects you, not the item, so getting several items seems to be a good way to save. You can power as many animated items as you can equip with the same piece of Stellarite, even if you used the Stellarite before obtaining the item.

I would have to agree with you; most of the animated items are quite impressive, and I wouldn't mind having at least a few of them. For now, however, I would be satisfied with the Curse of the Gray Wizard and the Spectral Possession. It makes me wonder if both can be used in conjuncture with one another...
Bah. I'd need significantly more money that I have now to do so, unfortunately.

I want to take a moment to talk about how much I love the idea and hate the execution of the Lumiere Noire (Solar Eclipse Coat). You know, I was thrilled when I saw that they had a pinstiped tail coat with a chain attached. I didn't think that there really was a way to mess it up. I thought it was infallible. Even stunting the tails awkwardly and making the pinstripes grey instead of white (so that they don't actually work with the pants from Hidden Ace, despite how spectacularly they would have otherwise) wasn't enough to make me not want this item. What truly, completely, utterly ******** it up and ruined the whole item was the stupid, ********, popped 80's douche bag collar. Someone please tell me, who is the artist? He/she needs to be punched. In the face. Hard. Now. I guess I could still wear it with a scarf, of some sort... The ********.

I would absolutely love it if Gaia gave us more Victorian ' Spectator' boots. There are three (leather, black, and white and tan) to choose from in Global Imports and there are five colors available (onyx, blue, forest, brown, and slate) in the Dashing Gentleman's shoes in the cash shop. I remember being so excited when I saw the announcement, automatically assuming that they'd have the traditional black and white boots in the shop then being so disappointed to see the limited variety. I would love to see some more like the one in the link above or like this one.

I find items that are probably supposed to be fairly innocent but manage to look anything but highly amusing when I get bored. For example the drool pose from Masquerade, it doesn't look like much on it's own but when combined with certain facial expressions it looks like something else entirely.  At least it does to me but perhaps my mind is just in the gutter. ^//^;

Honestly, I think that expression is a perfect example of "Ooooh... I like that..." in reference to something, be it sexual or otherwise.
... I actually makes me want that face and my own Masquerade. The particular face you used there is from Princess Style, isn't it?
