Located next to the Treasure Cover is a small dome shaped building with a market stall at the front.
The building itself is for storage only, but the stall up front has a cheerful Xa-wait...that wasnt a Xatu.
"You got a problem with me?" The small green Torchic declares upon catching your expression.
"I'm a Xatu! Like my ideal the Appraisal Xatu! I opened a shop like his so I can be just like him! So? What are you going to do?"
Appraisal- 5000PD
An Appraisal allows you to open your box and keep its contents.
Sell Box -for 1000PD per box.
You can choose not to open your box and just sell it.
Though you only get 1000PD.
"I'm a master of unlocking these things. It's useless to keep them since you'll find that no one else can open them but me!"
BOXES:
Boxes come in a variety of descriptions, you can pick them up in missions or chapters and they are, essentially, useless unless you get them appraised of if you chose to sell them.
Remember! Dont judge a book by its cover! Even if the box is ugly it may have a rare item and sometimes pretty boxes will only be full of rocks.

Ⱦeam Ðaɍksţaɍ ~✭  XXX XXXXXXX—¤÷(`Nadia & Vincent´)÷¤—Two figures entered the new shop that just opened earlier today. A Kadabra held a strange item in his hands while the Poochyena hold a bag of PD to pay for the shop. They soon both spotted an odd looking Torchic inside the shop that looked more like a Xatu than a normal Torchic. "Uhh, hello?" Nadia greeted the shop owner. "Can you open this for us?" She asked. Though from the looks of it that's pretty much a retarded question. She then grabbed the item from her vice-captain's hands and put it down in front of her just beside the bag full of PD she put down not long ago. She looked at the Torchic while waiting for his response.

"Course I can! I can open anything!" The Torchic's fluttered his small wings in annoyance and snatched the box from Vincent's hands with a snap of his beak.
"Kwee Kwooh Kwah and some other stuff-OPEN!" He dropped the box and gave it a swift peck and instantly the lock clicked open and the lid swung up.
Inside was a small purple pendant with a black eye engraved on it laying on velvet fabric.
"This...this is...I dunno what this is actually, but it's important. It's important and dangerous. I wouldnt wear it if I was you, it wont end well. I'd say you take it to your guildmaster or something, but do whatever. Just..get the creepy thing out of my shop!"
With a squawk of annoyance the Torchi toddled back to his stall.

Ⱦeam Ðaɍksţaɍ ~✭ XXXXXXXXXX—¤÷(`Nadia & Vincent´)÷¤— Vincent let a little yelp as the Torchic grabbed the box quickly from his hands. After getting the box opened, the two looked rather confused with the item laying on the velvet fabric. Nadia felt she have seen it before. But she just can't put her paw in it. 'I swore I have seen something like that before...ugh..' She shook her head. Nope, she can't remember a thing about it. The squawk the Torchic, Xatu...Pokemon made startled her as he toddled back to his stall. Nadia hesitated to snatch the odd purple pendant and hoped that he won't shout at her and Vincent again. She then left the right amount of PD to pay for the appraisal before leaving the shop with a flick of her tail and the odd item on her mouth while her Kadabra companion silently followed her.

 MelissaMelissa had dug around the Team room and had found a certain box. No one in the team knew where it came from, only that it had been there for quite some time now, before the Bulbasaur had joined. Nobody could open it though everyone tried, and even Spade's surprisingly knowledge of lockpicking couldn't get it open. After a bit of searching around, Melissa heard about about the appraisal shop. The Bulbasaur approached the stall with skepticism at the sight of what appeared to be a Torchic dressed up as a Xatu. The amount of money for the appraisal was exorbitant, but Atra had assured her that 5,000PD was nothing. Personally, Melissa thought it was an insane price in order to open a box of which the contents were unknown, but her curiosity got the better of her. She held the box tightly on her back, wrapped in placed with strong vines. She placed them on the counter along with the money. "Good day. I was told that you might be able to help me with something. We just can't seem to get this box open, and people say that you might be able to."((Box is from Chapter 27))

The Torchic exclaimed, raising his wings above the box.
"Kwee-Kwah-Kiwi-Wala-wala-bing-bang-OPEN!"
A swift tap with his beak and the box sprang open to reveal...

Melissa Melissa's vines came forward to wrap around the opened box and to bring it down before her. She stared into it for its contents, blinking in surprise. There was nothing solid within it, but a pleasant smell radiated from the box. She was cautious at first, but it smelled so pleasant -like spring flowers with a hint of...honey?- that she couldn't help but take in a deep breath. Then it was gone, the aroma simply vanished as if she had imagined it. Melissa was confused for a few seconds before some wisdom within her explained what had happened. The box had contained what was known as a TM- a general term used for items that held within it the capability of imparting the ability to use a certain kind of magic to a Pokemon. With this knowledge Melissa thanked the Xatu and left, holding back her eagerness to find out exactly what she had learned.

"Heyyy." The Weavile called out ahead of him to the stand. He bore three chests; two smaller ones under one arm and the third held against his side with his free hand.
"You're the one that opens these, right? Help me out."
He loosely dumped each of the chests on the front stall along with a bag of cash he had held in one of his hands.
In total, there were two rather musty boxes that had long since lost any sign of colour.
The third box on the other hand was a bright, almost golden colour. Truly, it was a Beautiful box to behold.
((One Yellow "Beautiful" from Carnival, two lockboxes from before we instituted the colour scheme.))

"Yupyup, I can open anything at all! Watch me, I'll show you!" The Torchic sprang upward, beak pointed to the sky before he spun around and descended in a dive at the Weavile.
After crashing into the Pokemon he proceeded to peck at the three boxes in no real order while flapping his wings and chanting, "KWEEKWAHOPENDAMMIT"
The Beautiful box popped open to display an Icy Gem [Prevents Status Effects in Hail]
The first of the old boxes popped open to display a Red Armlet.[Scyther/Scizor- Heals HP when hit with Flying Type moves]
The last box opened to reveal a All-Hit Orb.

 .::Stark::.Stark heaved the Beautiful Box onto the counter before the... Torchic? Anyway, not important. Stark set his 5000 PD on the counter, and looked at the... Torchic. "You can open this, right?" he said.

.::Stark::.Stark once again entered the Appraisal Shop, a Deluxe Chest in tow. Considering the last time he had come here had resulted in a useless item, he was a bit hesitant to spend money on another of these things- but the Torchic was the only one that could open them, anyway. And he didn't want to risk just selling the darn thing. One of these days, he might get something good out of them. He lugged the Chest onto the counter, looking at the Torchic, still dressed oddly. "Got another one I need ya to look at, friend," he said, putting 5000 PD onto the counter. ((-5000 PD, Deluxe Chest from my co-op mission with Cy))
