well i might get to go to one of our neighbors coven meeting (having it at his house)
since this is my first one i was wondering besides you know the normal polite behavior (cant think of a better word) are there any pointers yall could give me

I've never been to a coven meeting before, but it sounds exciting. Do you know what branch of witchcraft and/or paganism your neighbor practices?

It would be wise to to talk to your neighbor and ask for a general outline of the meeting so you have an idea of the order of things and sort of know what to expect. Find out what the accepted dress is for the meeting. Ask if the meeting will be outside, at someones home or a rented space so you have an idea of how to prepare. Ask if there is anything you can bring/donate to the meeting.

Pretty much without knowing exactly what type of coven it is, it's hard to give pointers - different groups do different things.As Mercy said, your best bet is to talk to your neighbor, to find out if there is anything specific you need to know before you go.
