Faction/Race Ghost/Will-o-Wisp
Personality: Kashi is rather... cruel. He lives to bring others 'bad luck'. He'll go to great lengths to trick someone and even spend days putting his plans into action. He's almost obsessive over it.
Kashiyoru is a bit sarcastic and may seem very egotistical, but, inside, he's just a little uncertain of himself. He compensates by flirting with nearly everyone he meets. On the rare occasion he will actually be-friend someone and he is fiercely loyal to them. They are also the only ones he'll lower his guard around.
It's usually first impression that determines whether or not he likes, dislikes or is indifferent about another. Kashi's first instinct is to flirt. (In most cases.) He doesn't just plot against everyone. Only those who have done him wrong. (Whether he's at fault or not...) Usually hitting, throwing things at him or calling him 'ugly' in any way are what get to him. But, it's a case-to-case bases.
Kashiyoru is not one to take orders, but he also doesn't give orders often either. He prefers to simply work alone and go with the flow. But, if put in a position of power, Kashi would, more then likely, slack off until he's needed, then attempt to do everything himself.
Kashi is not much of a fighter. If fact, he isn't physically strong at all. He'd rather look for the best way to escape. Even if he manages to get backed into a corner he'll try to find a way out without having to get violent. He's usually agile enough to keep from getting into such a situation, but it's not unheard of.
Hobbies? Oh yes, Kashi has them. He loves to dance and he prides himself on his flexibility. Sadly, he doesn't preform for just anyone. It's a privilege you'll have to earn. Another, more well known, hobby of his is his time spent planing the downfall of all those who oppose or irritate him. These plans can range from buckets of water in door frames to being lead over a large cliff. It just depends on the strength of his hatred for that person.
He is creative. Kashi has found a knack for folding paper. (Origami) He's been working on bending bits of wire and metal into small shapes. When deep in thought, or just really bored, he dose this to keep his hands busy.
He has a soft spot for smaller/younger creatures. He's less likely to flirt with them, rather he feel the need to simply be near them. He has a large amount of patients with them and does not take offense in them not wanting him around.
Kashiyoru enjoys keeping a tidy environment. He gets uneasy around messes. His room is always kept clean and his supplies are always neatly packed. If left alone in a filthy place, Kashi is most likely to start organizing out of shear nervousness.
Kashi lives for long hot baths, classical music, naps and a good back rub. Despite his constant innuendos and flirting, he does long for someone to be magnanimous with, though he's not exactly actively looking for that someone.
Until recently Kashiyoru was unable to manifest himself into his humanoid form. He truly enjoys being in his human form. It takes up quite a bit of his energy though, so it's not too uncommon to see him napping in his true form. Despite the toll it takes on him, he enjoys his looks and is willing to expend energy to keep them.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Kashiyoru is still new to the whole 'being a ghost' thing. He's looking to control his abilities more and to know more about who and what he is.
FEAR: Blue Fire
Year One: ((The Mind)) Kashi fills what ever room he's in (or up to an area of eight square feet) with an illusion of blue fire. It doesn't burn anything it touches and is purely a means of distraction so he has a chance to escape, or make it difficult to see him. He can also use it to frighten others away, if he feels that they'd be afraid of fire.
Year Two: The fire now gives off a small amount of heat and he can fill an area up to thirteen square feet. He can also form small foxes with the fire. (They're more of a distraction and, other than bounce around in the way of the opponent, they don't do much else..)
Year Three: The fire can now burn and be used as a weapon. He can also now fill an area of 35 square feet. His fox 'companions' can now lift/move things for Kashi, or attack if they feel provoked.
Natural Ability: He can change from his human form to his fox form at will. Though his fox form is mostly for sneaking and resting.

Physical Description: 6'1"; he's almost always smirking.
Eyes: Black with pale blue Iris'; Narrow with small blue markings under them.
Hair Colour/Style: White, long length, 'stringy'. (Artist freedom when it comes to style. He wears it up or down and anywhere in between.)
Skin Colour: Pale.
Clothing Style/Colours: His clothing is mostly white with pale blue markings and accents. Asian/Japanese in style. (Outfit is only limited by artist imagination. Though, I am willing to get refs. if the artist isn't in a creative mood. XD) ((Don't be afraid to use tons of fluff!~))
Extra: Has three pale blue ghostly fox tails (all are white tipped) and pale blue with medium blue (white at the hottest point) flame tipped fox ears. He has long nails and sharp toenails, as well as he never wears shoes.

2, I think the fox form should not only be used for that. Use it for battle too!

1. About forms? The only form you are ever able to take on campus is the human one. 2. His personality seems like little more than 'cruel, trickster, hits on boys and dislikes girls'. Expand upon it? There's more to him then his romantic interests and the fact he's sort of a jerk, isn't there? 3. His natural ability seems a bit pointless. You cannot change out of human form on campus. But if his species, as a whole, are tricksters; it makes a bit more sense. Perhaps a bit of info on his species, then? Crit back?

Could this subconscious longing for his Mother be used against him? Say there's a persistent girl that hangs around him, and has a fairly maternal nature. Would he find himself liking her in spite of himself?

I feel a bit like you mentioned his sexual orientation... a little bit too much. The fact that he's gay and disgusted by women can be summed up in one sentence each, without repeated mention. It's pretty obvious then; a sexuality doesn't define a person. I think as a whole there's way too much on his promiscuity, so much so that it makes me uncomfortable and skirts a bit on R-rated.
(I think you mean "conceited" rather than "conceded")
Why is he disgusted by women if he loved his mother so much? That usually tends to go the way of Oedipus. Is he avoiding feelings for women, or really just against them? Is there any reason other than the default "boobs are icky I like peen"? Generally homosexual people aren't disgusted by the other gender unless something happened in their past to do as such. They don't have interest in banging them, and may not like their parts, but they don't avoid them. Pardon my blanket-statements.
Was his dream about his mother a real vision, or a dream? If a dream, was there a reason for it, like seeing children leaving school? Was it accurate? If it was a vision, why was his mother telling him what school was like out of the blue? Did she try to get him to go? It seems a little strange to me to have her just be randomly telling him what school is like.
What happened to his mother?
Why does he stay in his human form if it drains him so? Does he prefer it? Would it be difficult for him to become a fox again after so long being humanoid? Does it progressively drain more energy?
I do like his fear. It levels up very nicely :3

Well, Rabid covered a bit of what I was going to say. He's a bit over sexualized and it WAS a little boarder line offensive to read through. (Quick note, "He isn't a sexist nor predigest." I assume you mean " or prejudice"? ) Is there a reason he won't admit he's a momma's boy? I've actually met a few guys with similar traits and they're normally pretty willing to say that they are. Rabid Ice Weasel Generally homosexual people aren't disgusted by the other gender unless something happened in their past to do as such. They don't have interest in banging them, and may not like their parts, but they don't avoid them. This, very much (Although as an additional thought, I did have a homosexual male friend who wanted to sleep with me to 'see what it was like'). I've had several homosexual friends, and a good majority of their friends were female. They also have what they called "f** hags" (pardon the term. S'what they called 'em), which was a chick who was always with 'em, and I believe the idea was 'creating an illusion of non-homosexuality'. Is there any specific reason staying in human form drains him? And wouldn't that cause a lot of issues as far as just going to school is concerned? His random factoids are, no offense intended, fairly boring on their own. I think that if you work those into his personality, it will REALLY help to flesh him out, as well as make him less "my sexuality is my personality" and you'll learn things about him in a more interesting light. I like his fear as well, although it's a pretty offensive (as opposed to defensive) power for someone who you says 'doesn't like to fight'. (Crit back? Viveca
