Kyouya was excited, she was finally making friends! She had recently discovered she was an excellent fisher, but she never could fish in Starborn, they were against eating meat. But, she was out on a little field trip and had met twins on this trip. A shy female and a friendly male. They had promised to come and fish with her and she was excited.
New friends was thrilling!
She waited before a small pond outside her tribe home, her tail wagging happily as she hummed a silly tone to herself. She was awaiting them to arrive, already seeing several fish jumping out.

Alanna sat, waiting in the bushes. She had already spotted Kyouya, but didn't have the courage to approach her all on her own. She looked around her. Where was Harle? His friendly and outgoing nature helped boost her courage, as well as deflected most of the attention away from her. She really wanted him to show up first before she came out.

Harle spotted Kyouya too, but a flash of pink in the bushes distracted him--Aly. Gosh, she was so silly! Shaking his head, he changed direction and sneaked up behind Aly, then whispered in her ear, "Boo!"
Offering a mischievous grin, Harlequinn wagged his tail slightly, letting it brush the leaves.
"C'mon, silly! She's waiting for us," Harle rolled his eyes fondly and stepped through the bushes, obviously expecting that his shy sister would follow him.
"Hi Kyou!" Harle called, grinning wider. He'd so been looking forward to this! He hadn't been fishing much, and Kyou said it was really fun and she was good at it, and he wanted to get better--not to mention, Aly needed more friends than just him.

Alanna jumped about a mile. "Harle," she protested! Her twin knew she hated being startled like that! She wasn't much of a glarer, but she did give her brother a suffering look before following him out into the open.

Kyouya had started to think they wouldn't show, having been waiting for awhile. The violet eyed vixen wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't come, it seemed she hardly had any luck with others anymore. She was hyper, friendly, and lovable, why didn't anyone like her? Maybe she was annoying instead of lovable? The dark vixen held her ears down as she thought this, looking away, until she heard a voice.
Her nickname! Only one fox ever called her by that name, other than Pharos, but she didn't care about that fox and he surely didn't care about her in the least. Her eyes flicked over to see a black and pink male making his way over with his small sister behind him, her tail wagging. It was Harlequinn and Alanna!
"You two made it!" She cried out in joy, greeting the two by approaching Harle and brushing her body against her new friend, and nuzzling her other new friend, Alanna, but with great care not to startle the shy female. She was so glad to see the two, happy they hadn't ditched her.

Alanna's body did stiffen a bit at the touch but she didn't pull back, which was an improvement over the first few times Kyouya had attempted to greet her.
"H-hello Kyouya," Alanna stuttered as a return greeting, and promptly blushed with the effort it took for that simple social proticol.

Harle laughed and returned the greeting, his tricolored tail wagging happily against the ground.
"Of course we made it!" he responded, like it was the most ridiculous thing in the world to question--pffft, like he'd miss the chance to see his new friend!
"So, O Great Fishin' Master--wait, you're a girl. Mistress?" He corrected himself with another impish grin and a laugh. "What do we gotta do to prepare ourselves?" He set his shoulders and looked playfully serious, then laughed again.
"Miss Ally here's neerrrvous. What, you think we're gonna push you in the lake, sis?" Harle teased, reaching over to lick her cheek affectionately. "It'll be fun! Right, Kyou?"

"Right~" She giggled back, tail whipping back and forth. She grinned at the two new friends, ears flipping at the twins before she leapt up on her feet, flicking her tail at the two to follow her.
"You don't need anything but your paws and a keen eye." She mewled back. "Oh, and some water of course~" She added as a after note, smirking at the two. She padded towards the water, glancing at the two.
"First, we want to enter the water very slowly, so we don't scare the fishies away!" Slowly and with concentration, the normally hyper and bubbly fox carefully entered the water, her paws gliding through the water. She turned her head to the others, smirking once more and patiently staring at the waters.
"Be quiet and wait for them to become accustomed to your presence, they'll eventually think nothing of it and swim near you, like so." Fish were already gliding through her legs and around her paws, but she didn't move. Her eyes locked on a rather large fish and quickly her tail lashed out, flipping the fish into the air and her mouth caught the fish, biting through it until it stopped moving. Pleased, she padded to the twins and dropped the fish before them.
"Then, use any style, as long as its quick, to grab and kill the fish. Next time move somewhere away from where you originally fished because the fish will avoid that area for awhile."

Alanna watched uncertainly. She was fairly sure this would be something she'd have a hard time with. Entering water slowly, she could do. Unfortunately all the rest of her movements were slow as well. That's what made her a terrible fisher, all the fish had no trouble avoiding the timid tri-colored fox.
