Beethoven has some good pieces along with Wagner, but Mozart has some of the best Requiems...

I'm more of a Romantic period person, so much more fun to play on the piano. And baroque. But yea, I was pretty happy last year when we still had a music class and did the Classic period unit. The big stuff (big stuff, man, do I sound intelligent...) done by a symphony is the best, where it's all quiet, and then suddenly the percussion section starts to murder their drums (that's a metaphor, killing instruments is bad) and makes everybody jump.

Classical. I love classical.
Bach is very nice to play (and, as having almost free access to the church organ as there is a priest in the family... Even though this one is not christian and would not join back to that party very easily biggrin ) Chopin, of course when you are playing piano, and Mozart & Beethoven. I like Verdi as well, if I just had enough money and time to go to see all those operas. And ballets! Someone donates me money so I can go watch more operas and ballets? lol Swanlake is just something great.
But hey, oriental classical! Citar or shamisen, anyone? Don't know much, but I'd love to learn more ^^ Someone here with more information about oriental classical?

I appreciate all forms of composer pieces. Romantic, Baroque, Classical, etc...
But I've always been a fan of Mozart, all my life. My personal favourite by him is Rondo Alla Turca. Bach is great as well, of course you gotta love Toccata and Fugue.
