Dendera had let Silas collect his things and then they left the party, and his band-mates who were apparently responsible for the man even going to the party in the first place. It was really amazing that they were even alive at this point with everything that they coaxed the vaporeon into. The drive was silent, as the taller male had said it would be. He hadn't even spoke as they were getting into the vehicle and he opened the door for his shaken companion.

He kept his attention mostly on the road, spacing out and not letting himself think too deeply. He was bothered by what Silas said in the middle of his breakdown, he wasn't sure how to take it and he was probably taking it the wrong way. He tried to remind himself that the vaporeon was upset and just freaking out, but it didn't stop him from being hurt by it. So it was better to push it out of his mind and hope to hear something different once they arrived at his home.

And when they did, he got out of the vehicle, making his way over to the passenger's side to open the door for the vaporeon, and then lead him into the house. He flicked on the light, closed the door behind them, and then guided Silas, by his wrist, to the couch they had spent plenty of time on by now. He wasn't sure what to say at first, and instead just stared into blue eyes that he had gazed at many times before.

After waiting as long as he felt like he could bear, he finally just asked, "What is going on? Are you okay?" he spoke softly, but was plenty audible in the quiet home, his hand sliding from Silas's wrist down to his hand. He wanted to know what had happened, what had brought his friend to his knees, and what made him say things that sounded like regret to the umbreon.

He let the man open and close the car doors for him, only reacting when he needed to for the time being. His mind was still a jumbled mess, but he was slowly starting to organize and piece things together, well, as best as he could anyway. He sat with the hat and cane in his lap, the coat ribbons and wires pushed to the side and pressed down where the seatbelt was strapped, his side leaning against the door as it often did when he was riding in the familiar black car's passenger seat. Silas kept his eyes on the clear window when they were open, closing them off and on to shut out the world just a little bit more while he thought to himself. The mask remained on his face the whole time, still not ready to show the man just how much he'd probably changed in that short time. But really, it wasn't a short time. The change had been happening since they met, and he knew it as soon as it started, but tonight was when the change had finally reached him to the deepest point, and he could no longer keep it from showing itself to his 'invader'.

The ride was silent, as promised, and he stepped out of the car just as calmly as he had stepped into it, carrying the hat and cane with him up the front steps and into the familiar house, one that he visited what he considered to be 'often'. Silas paused long enough to finally pull the heeled boots off, ending the tapping noise they played when he walked. He let Dendera guide him, sliding off the clawed gloves and setting them, the hat, and cane on the counter as he passed it, pausing briefly at the couch to take off the stiff and difficult costume coat he'd been forced into wearing. His mind was finally clear enough to note how good it felt to be free of the stiff articles of the costume, and how the air was cooler on more of his skin than usual because of the 'severely short top' he'd had to wear. But the house was generally warm, and the only thing that gave him brief chills was the slightly cool leather couch cushions he felt after finally plopping next to his companion.

The momentary silence wasn't as comfortable as the one in the car had been, this one came with the promise of words, ones he had to hear and ones he had to say, and they caused tension for him. Hearing Dendera finally speak the inevitable question built up more pressure in his chest, a different kind, a nervous kind, one that he wasn't familiar with. His eyes were still glancing off to the side, but he was fully aware of the hand on his wrist, and soon on his own hand.

'..how am I supposed to tell him, maybe I shouldn't? I don't know how he'll react, I don't know what to do to any of the reactions I'll get..For once..I really don't know what to do about anything,' he thought to himself. He knew he had to answer, he just couldn't figure out how. After a moment more of thinking, he finally decided to go with what he thought would be the easiest, one that didn't really require words. He could feel the change himself, so he didn't have to have a mirror to know how he looked now. The Vaporeon reached up with one of his now free hands, finally touching the mask lightly before gently removing it from his face, setting it off to the side on one of the couch cushions. Silas paused for a moment before finally turning his face and eyes to the man, looking at him completely honestly and openly for the first time. It mirrored how he looked at Dendera the night they met, except this time he wasn't under the influence of alcohol, the look in his eyes and calm but openly read expressions on his face were coming out on their own, without a stubborn facade or glare.

Silas opened his mouth to speak a couple times but closed it quickly enough, unsure of what to say or do.
"..the mask, it was the last wall.." he finally said a little quietly, his voice almost fragile, "..you..beat all of my defenses." He raised a hand back up to his face, almost trying to hide it between his fingers, his expression open as a book and just as vulnerable as one left out in the rain. "..I realized something, at the party..but I don't know how to tell you. Or if I even can tell you.." he trailed off, running a few fingers from the hand that tried covering his face through some of his hair, a light shade of blush rising to his pale cheeks.

Dendera watched quietly as Silas shifted, taking the mask from his face. He could see that the man was hesitant to look at him but he understood what it was that he was trying to show him. He wasn't angry, or frustrated, or trying to push Dendera away. His companion was still confused, and showing it now more than ever, but he could see that he was just as fragile as the umbreon had told him that he was at one point. He looked like he could break at any minute. The dark-skinned man raised a hand, bringing it close to the vaporeon's face but soon pulling it away, almost afraid to touch him, and the confusion showed on his own face before his friend spoke.

He listened intently when the words did come, hearing what he had already seen the mask meant, just not fully understood. Then, the boy raised a hand up in a futile attempt at hiding his own face, and that was when Dendera found himself able to reach up to touch him. He raised his hand now to pull Silas's away, and then replace it with his own, cupping his friend's cheek and lightly grazing his thumb across his cheek - an attempt at comforting his delicate companion.

With every raising of his chest in every breath, he could feel his own heart beating. The umbreon wasn't even sure what was happening in his own head and yet he was asking Silas to explain what was going on in his. He wasn't sure what it was exactly that the vaporeon had come to realize, and he wanted to hear it. This intense kind of conversation seemed to really take its toll on the both of them, and he was certain that if this kept up his heart would leap through his ribcage. The nervous feeling was really something that he could never get used to. He was the man that could never be scared, was never nervous, or afraid. And yet, Silas could do this to him.

When he was able to find his tongue, and it seemed that the vaporeon had lost his, he spoke up, and maybe it was just ramblings but keeping his thoughts to himself wasn't something that Dendera did often anyway, "I think..I've told you this before but, I don't think you could possibly know how beautiful you are to me." it took him a moment to look into those soft blue eyes again, having found himself looking at their hands instead for a time. Yes, Silas was physically very lovely, and Dendera did acknowledge this but that wasn't what made him want to tell him over and over again how pretty he was. I was more so the feeling that he caused him, and the things that he wanted for him, wanting to be there for him, wanting to protect him, and even the possessive feelings over him. He wasn't sure how else to express that Silas meant the world to him, that he would do anything for him, that he never wanted to have to share him with anyone. But maybe the words to say were a lot simpler than he made them out to be. He couldn't articulate all that he felt, and all the thoughts swirling in his head, but some words come without any effort, without any thought, and before your mind even knows you're saying them. "I love you."

The fingers on his cheek affected his blush a little more than usual since his walls had finally come down, and his eyes finally glanced over at the man once more, his own words still stuck tumbling around in his mind. But, before he could even get the chance to try and get out what he was trying to say, the Umbreon started speaking, words taking him by surprise again. He still wasn't used to hearing such things said to himself in such a way. Usually when he was told similar words, they were more so just about his appearance, brief compliments or comments while he was out playing his guitar in public or someone trying to start a conversation, even confess some sort of crush in one of his classes. This time, the words felt different, came off different, and coming from Dendera they had much more gravity and weight to them than he'd ever heard before. They were simple words, like they often were, but they struck him in such a way that he couldn't even try to object whole heartedly, especially not now.

Silas was about to to open his mouth and try to respond, or even try to explain what had been plaguing his mind, and in turn effecting his body and actions since the dance at the party, but he was quickly cut off by the man's next words. His eyes went a bit wide, and at first the words didn't even register, like he hadn't heard them. But red eyes were on his own and the three words were echoing around in his now empty thoughts.
"...I...." he mumbled quietly, still only staring back at Dendera, his mind trying to remember how to function again. That was about when the tears started to well up on the edges of his eyes, "..you.." The Vaporeon couldn't even formulate a sentence, a decent response to any of it. All he could do was let light tears well over the edge and stream silently down his cheeks, taking some of the Halloween face makeup with it.

"I wanted.." he started, blinking a couple times as he attempted to remember what he was trying to say before the shock and surprise had taken over, "...I...hell, I suck with words." Before he could even think of whatever consequences it might have, how embarrassed he might end up being, anything at all, his body moved forward almost on its own, his lips meeting Dendera's a little awkwardly. It didn't last long, maybe a few seconds before he pulled way and sat back where he had been. Silas's eyes went a little wide once more at his own actions, slapping a hand over his mouth while his head and eyes turned quickly to the side. He set his hand down after a moment, his blush deep and heart racing in his chest. "..I love you," he half rushed, half mumbled, unable to look at the man. The pressure and weight he'd felt earlier had finally lifted, but now it was replaced with a new pressure and weight, as well as a flutter. He was nervous, anxious, unsure, insecure, yet somehow still so content all at once.

Dendera watched him with a very soft smile on his lips as he saw a familiar blush rising on Silas's face, even more red than usual which was hard to imagine possible sometimes. He could tell how surprised it had made his companion to hear his confession of love, a confession that he hadn't even realized that he was ready to make. Over the time that they had spent together he had come to learn how much he cared for the vaporeon, he had come to understand how hurt he would be to lose him, and how angry it would make him to see the man with anyone else like he was with him. It had become a slow realization for him that he really had feelings for the man, other than the curiosity he'd expressed towards him on the first night that they had spoken.

The umbreon had always been enamored with the idea of him, the fact that he struggled so much really only made Dendera want closeness with him more so. It was just that he'd never stuck that simple four letter word to it before, but apparently his mouth knew the word when his head didn't. And once he heard the words coming from his own lips it all seemed to fit so well, and just showed him all the more that there was no one else that he could want.

As the umbreon settled in his own head with what he had said, it seemed that his love was still reeling from it. Quickly when he saw the tears begin to drop, he reached up the hand that had been resting on Silas's own hand, and placed it on his other cheek. He gently wiped away at the tears that fell with his thumbs, unsure of what to say or why it made him cry. 'I'm sorry..' he thought vaguely, afraid that he had hurt him when that was the last thing that he had wanted to do.

Silas's makeup was now a mess, due to the tears and the pressing away of them, but the smudged dark makeup around his eyes and how damp they had become, only seemed to make his pretty blue eyes that much more lovely, and Dendera was stuck in silence staring into them as the boy tried to speak. But apparently Silas had chosen an alternative means of explaining, as he moved closer a piece of the umbreon knew what was happening but his head hadn't caught up yet. He could feel his heart banging against his ribcage with each heave of his breath, and the weight of that quickly thumping heartbeat seemed to make it so hard to breathe - in fact he might have held his breath at one point.

He kissed him, he hadn't been expecting it, and Dendera knew he had never been so nervous or excited about any kiss before this one. He was staring into blue eyes once again, the moment that Silas pulled away and once he said those words, Dendera quickly pulled him close once more, his arms sliding over the boys shoulders. When their foreheads met, he stopped there to just stare into his eyes, silently at first before he could speak again, "I thought..I thought you regretted meeting me." he spoke softly with a quiet relieved laugh, unsure of what else to say. He could have gone on about how he wanted Silas to be his, and his alone, how he was grateful to the boy's bandmates for getting him drunk that night, and how he would never leave. But it all seemed too much to say, and far too difficult as well.

Silas could feel the makeup a mess on his face, but couldn't really bring himself to care or bother giving it a second thought. The makeup was the last thing on his mind, it didn't even stay in his thoughts long enough to warrant the slightest bit of concern. His mind was circling around what they'd said, what had happened, what he just did, and the fact that none of this was blowing up in his face like he had worried that it would. He had been so nervous and anxious about saying anything, he still was though not as much as before, but now he almost felt relieved that he said and did what he did. For once he could take a breath and not feel like he was trapped somewhere, stuck in something he couldn't give words to. Now he had a name for what he had felt, now he could understand why he behaved how he had, now he knew, and he was relieved to know what it all was, is.

The Vaporeon didn't get much of a pause before he was abruptly pulled over by the man, their foreheads meeting each other in a familiar fashion that they'd done before. His face shot red at the action, but his mind quickly went through the words that the Umbreon said soon after.
"I..didn't know what to do, I still don't.." he trailed off, but remained where he was. He was surprisingly content, comfortable even being close to the man, though he still felt some of the discomfort at the edge of his mind. Silas still wasn't used to being in such close proximity, even with Dendera, but on rare occasions he found himself comfortable enough to handle it, even like it.

His heart was still racing in his chest, his face was still hot with blush and a beautiful mess of makeup. Part of him didn't know what to do, didn't know what to say, how to act, how to even think. But, another, larger part of him felt like it'd finally found some sort of peace, something he'd never really had before, and that was what most of himself was focused on, aside from the physical contact. Once his mind finally started accepting the emotions he was feeling, it started taking note of the physical contact. His body was far more uncovered than usual, and the feel of foreign fabric on his skin was both unsettling and somehow flustering.
"Can you-" he tried, pushing a little with a hand on Dendera's chest, his blush as deep as ever. "This..'outfit' is too unusual," he added in, trying to get at least a little distance from the man. Silas's mood wasn't nearly as stubborn or feisty as usual, which he was vaguely aware of. His emotions had been thrown for a loop, the last of his walls had finally been breeched, and mentally he was a bit exhausted from it all. So many things had changed within the course of a few hours, like some things often did when he was around the Umbreon. His life and himself had definitely started taking strange turns after meeting Dendera, and he still had no idea where they might even be leading to.

Dendera was pleased to see that his confession hadn't tarnished his ability to make the vaporeon blush at all. No, if anything he was more red now than ever. A small smile found its way to the umbreon's lips as he stared at the boy that was very close now, close enough that he could feel the warmth from those rosy cheeks. "I don't either." he admitted softly, in a hushed tone, but continued to wear that soft smile. "So if you were waiting on an answer from me, I wouldn't count on it." he joked lightly, with a very subdued and nearly silent laugh.

He understood the unconventionality of their friendship, not just based on the fact that they were both male. It was more so based in the way that they were both so awkward and lost on the subject of their feelings, and just the way that they both chose to deal with such oblivious natures. They were an odd pair, that much was obvious. But Dendera still felt so much pleasure in Silas's company, and in knowing that his feelings were returned - though a lot of people wouldn't guess that from the way Silas normally carried himself. But he didn't have any clue what was supposed to happen from there. He could have said so much but it all felt too overwhelming and was just a big jumbled mess in his head and out of it all, he had already said the most important thing. He loved him! Ha, was that so hard? Terribly so.

At some point he felt and acknowledged a hand lightly pushing his chest. It took a moment to register that this was Silas trying to urge him back, because he was so used to the vaporeon being forceful and fiesty - not gentle. He laughed, really laughed, as he moved away from his companion upon hearing the explanation. What was funny to him wasn't the outfit or the fact that Silas was red as a tomato, but just simply that he was made so uncomfortable by wearing something that was so similar to what the umbreon preferred to wear! "I wear shirts like that all the time." he teased, but soon settled, "If you would like to borrow a shirt that's a bit longer though I can go get you one." he offered, now pulling himself up off of the couch and staring down at the blushing vaporeon with a warm smile on his face. What a fantastic Halloween this and turned into, and he hadn't even expected Silas to spend it with him.

For once, Silas cracked a small smile at the man's words. It was rare, but it did happen, and he wasn't in the mood nor had the willpower to even try and hide it. The Vaporeon was much more, well, much more than usual, easy going when he was exhausted. The very core of everything he'd built up over the years had been torn down, at least around Dendera, and it wasn't exactly something he could just walk away from unscathed. He felt tired, light, calm, almost like he'd been crying for hours and finally he had his time of peace after doing so. He didn't have the strength to keep his guard up, nor did he really feel like he wanted to. No, now, he wanted to just be, just let the things he felt to run their course, to not fight it for a change. Really, he couldn't fight it even if he wanted to, this new realization, feelings, sense of attachment he felt towards the Umbreon. He'd still be himself, he'd still be stubborn, feisty, violent at times, but now he felt like he finally had a grip on something and himself, and he felt protective of that feeling and who had caused it and the change he was going through. Silas was only possessive of very few things, things he treasured and valued above all else, and Dendera had finally reached the beginning of that level in his life.

He was still sorting through things, getting lost in his thoughts yet his mind felt blank and content when he heard the man's comment and offer. The Vaporeon merely nodded at the offer, ignoring the comment, sitting back once he was the only one on the couch to cross his arms back over his chest, another futile attempt to hide his exposed skin. His eyes glanced to his companion briefly before darting away again, the warm smile just making the heat on his face that much more worse.
'..now I can't even look at him normal without blushing, hell,' he thought to himself, before pushing up off of the couch as well. "I'm taking this makeup off," he finally said aloud, yet still somewhat quiet, picking up the mask from the couch cushion and walking over to the counter to leave it with the hat and cane. '...that reminds me...' he thought again, squinting a little at the costume accessories, 'I still need to kill them when I see them next, even if they did..' he paused, glancing at the man again for a moment, '..end up..changing things like this.'

After the Umbreon left, Silas followed behind after a moment, up the now familiar stairs and down the long hall. He turned into the only bathroom he ever seemed to use, Dendera's, and flipped on the light switch, heading straight over to stand in front of the sink's mirror.
"...you're a mess," he mumbled to his own reflection, reaching up with his hands after a moment to try and remove the short top he was unaccustomed to. With a little difficulty and a little struggling, he finally managed to pull it and the cravat off, before setting them to the side of the sink on the counter. Soon after, he pulled up the sink lever and collected some of the warm running water in his joined palms, splashing it gently over his face while rubbing a bit at the makeup, which came off easier than he had been expecting it to.

Dendera just grinned as he saw those cheeks become even more red, but what was even nicer to see was that smile. It was something that he had learned to cherish as the opportunities to see it came and not to question it, because really it wasn't a common sight. But the umbreon had a feeling that it was a much more common sight around him than it was when he wasn't around. After all, if the vaporeon didn't enjoy his company than he wouldn't pay half as many visits as he did (if any at all) among other things that made it apparent.

When he received confirmation on the offer he was ready to leave. Then, he was told that Silas would be washing off his makeup, really the dark-skinned man never expected the shorter male to inform him of what he would be doing or where he would be at any time. He'd become used to his friend treating the house like it were his own, which was fine by him. He probably wouldn't have minded even if the vaporeon did want to make it his home. He didn't feel the need for privacy in the home, except for his basement where all his 'treasures' were hidden away, his work, his pride and joy.

He just gave a simple nod in response to the information given to him and then went off down the hall. He took note that Silas had gone to the bathroom that he always used, though there were two others in the house. The vaporeon didn't really do much exploring on his visits, not really being the nosy type - at least as far as Dendera had learned of him. The umbreon went up to his bed room, quickly digging through his dresser drawers for a simple black shirt, trying to choose one that wouldn't be too big on the smaller male. Once he'd found one that he thought suitable, he headed off for the bathroom.

The door was open when he arrived, and he slipped in silently. It seemed that Silas had already rid himself of the costume get up, and it wasn't often that he got to see so much of the vaporeon's skin as usually the boy seemed rather uncomfortable with it. While he was leaned over rubbing away at makeup, Dendera decided to take the opportunity to make his presence known, gently sliding his arms around the man's sides, slipping his hands up over his bare chest. "Boo." he said in a quiet tone, with his head tilted close to the vaporeon's ear, eyes staring at his friends reflection in the mirror. "Brought you a shirt." he chimed, the shirt hanging off of one of his hands. He was almost certain that this would invoke the wrath of one startled Silas.

'...I really don't know what to do about this, he thought to himself, rubbing at the makeup and getting it off bit by bit, '..I've never been in..in.....before..the closest I've even seen are couples making out in the street or professing 'love' on tv, but we're both guys and I've never..I mean that kiss happened on its own but I can't..just..make out with Dendera..come to think of it..wasn't that my first..' he trailed off in his head, a light blush staining his cheeks. But, before his thoughts could get much further, his face finally free of as much makeup as he could get off, though some of the black was still lurking lightly on the edges of his eyes, he felt fabric against his sides and hands on the skin of his chest. His body, at first, went completely still and rigid, but soon after he practically turned completely around, half hopping up onto the bathroom sink, taken completely by surprise.

"D-Dendera-!?" was all he could get out, eyes a little wide for the countless time that night, face going red once more as the situation and the man's words started to sink in. It took him a moment to calm down, or at least get out of the surprised state he was in, and also realize that there was warm water running on his leg, the top of his thigh barely under the faucet with his other leg stretched out and foot on the floor, both hands propped up on the counter back by the large mirror. "Don't do that-!" he almost yelled, face completely red and eyes staring at the man before darting off to the side, taking a breath for a moment to try and calm down his quickened breathing.

Somehow, his face only managed to get just a little brighter at the realization that he wasn't wearing a top of any sort, and his eyes darted back over to the man, spotting their target before a hand swiped up the black fabric. The Vaporeon slid off of the counter and quickly slid his arms into the arm holes before pulling the shirt down over his head, calming down a bit more at the comfort of being covered. The shirt itself was similar to the one he'd borrowed the morning after they first met, baggy enough to cover him loosely, but not so loose that it fell past the top of his thighs.

He wasn't shy about his body, really he didn't even think about it much at all, and his usual reasoning for trying to keep it covered didn't apply when he was only in front of one person, the one person that he'd gotten so close to. But, maybe it was because of the feelings, the closeness that he felt the need to cover himself so much around the man. He became a little awkward around Dendera, flustered even. It wasn't like much had changed..had it? Or did everything change? They were still both male, but maybe that barrier was no longer there, maybe that's why he felt like he wasn't on such an 'equal playing field' anymore. He was in something new, some new situation with new 'rules' and 'events', just when he was starting to get used to the first ones everything changed.

Silas stood a little awkwardly for a moment, returning his attention back to the sink long enough as a distraction, turning the water off before rubbing his face a little with a sleeve of the shirt. Some of his bangs and face framing hair had gotten a little wet, but the dampness felt a bit refreshing against his skin, almost like after taking a shower. His eyes darted down as he shifted a little, finally acknowledging the damp spot on his leg.
"Karma you bastards," he mumbled to himself, running a finger over the damp part of the borrowed pants, "serves them right." He felt almost pleased that some part of the costume didn't make it out completely unscathed, almost like the start of his payback, a small piece of revenge. It may not be ruined, but the Choroneko's sister wouldn't be pleased, which would effect the other two since they had forced him into it. Internally, for a moment, Silas mentally played out their inevitable demise.

Dendera grinned when he saw that startled expression in the mirror, obviously having had the effect that he'd wanted, and of course those usually pale cheeks were once again stained red. Really the umbreon was becoming too good at causing that, and he probably enjoyed it more than he should. "Who else would it be?" he spoke in a smooth tone, now leaning over the sink instead since his arms were pushed away in the man's struggle to turn around and end up just about leaping onto the sink. He then took the opportunity to lean in closer and whisper a tiny bit of obvious information to the vaporeon, "You're blushing again." effectively leaving out the part about how he found it to be irresistibly adorable. But where would the fun be in telling him that?

He gave a short warm bit of laughter as the shirt he had brought was snatched away, he expected it really. For one, it was only a matter of time before his blue haired companion realized his less-than-dressed state and for two, Silas helped himself to most things. So, especially in the case of well needed clothing, Dendera could only expect the boy to be grabby. He watched silently as the male pulled the shirt down over his head, the umbreon standing up straight now, taking a small step back away from the sink so that the boy could come down off of it.

Once Silas's eyes fell on his pants, Dendera's followed and upon seeing the wet spot he gave a small laugh. "Well now you'll need to borrow some pants as well." he commented, now grabbing up the shirt and hanging it over his arm, then holding that hand out towards the vaporeon. "Hand them over, I'll put them in the wash and get you some dry ones." he said, motioning towards the now wet pants. And no, he wasn't being a pervert trying to get the boy out of his pants so that he could attack him, though there was a good chance that it would turn Silas about as red as a tomato. He was only saving himself the extra trip to put the pants in with the laundry. "I'll try to find a shorter pair" he added with a grin, a very round-about way of calling the other male short. He wasn't really all that short, just shorter than Dendera and with less muscle tone to fill out the clothing, since he was basically a twig, there wasn't much to put into the clothing at all. But it suited him, the slender, smaller frame. Angular and still masculine, but softer and almost delicate looking. Really, Dendera just found him to be all-around lovely to look at, and even more so lovely to be around - despite how fiesty, stubborn, and often violent he was.

"It's not really that-..." he had started, but trailed off, his face still a rather noticeable shade of red from the surprise and proximity of the Umbreon. Honestly, he had just planned to keep the pants on, but truth be told they were tighter than his usual ones and didn't breathe well, and he was getting tired of feeling like he was being restrained in them. If the opportunity to get out of them was there, he would take it. Which brought up another small problem, taking them off, with Dendera present. He wasn't really sure why but it put him a little on edge, not out of danger but maybe..something closer to nervousness? Anxiety? Silas rarely paid attention to his own body, let alone had someone else paying attention to it. But, his want to get out of them was starting to overpower those feelings, and he finally gave into it with a small sigh.

The Vaporeon turned around a little, reaching under the shirt to first undo the many buckles that had been layered below his waist, annoyingly so. He took them off one by one, setting them onto the counter where his costume top had been, before attempting to undo and somehow get out of the tight fabric pants. With some struggling and a little wiggling, he finally managed to push them down to his ankles, mainly only bending at his waist before stepping out of them and grabbing them in a bunched up fashion. He was still decently flexible, though not quite as much as he had once been. Still, it had its advantages and made him feel like he could still actively move around almost as much as when he was younger. Silas lifted and held them up briefly, turning back to his companion while bidding a mental 'good riddance' to the article of clothing, dropping it lightly onto the man's held out hand.

His face was probably the reddest it had ever been in front of Dendera, maybe even surpassing the one he had earlier during the dance. But, that didn't stop him from punching the man's shoulder, though not as hard as usual. He didn't really have the strength to throw a serious punch, and part of him didn't even really want to.
"Shut up," he replied stubbornly, glancing off to the side after a moment, his hands now moving down to try and tug the shirt a little lower. If he had been wearing boxers he probably wouldn't have been feeling quite as self conscious as he was, but given how form fitting the costume pants were he'd had to settle for briefs instead, which revealed more than he cared to think about. Not only that, but the second scar on his left thigh was visible under the shirt, one he wasn't really afraid to show but liked to keep to himself because of its location. His eyes darted back to the man after a moment, waiting for a change of pants almost eagerly. Part of him didn't really seem to mind the lack of clothes, oddly enough, while another part did. Always at war with himself, even when the reasons and situations had changed, that seemed to remain a constant around the man.

Dendera gave a soft laugh at the obvious statement, giving a response that was possibly even more obvious, "I know, the whole 'I throw a fit when you touch me' thing." He was just playfully picking on the vaporeon but still after a moment he felt the need to clarify. "It's fine though, I like your temper, I can handle anything you've got.", he added with a grin as he waited for his companion to remove his pants. I seemed like the pants must have been pretty tight because Silas seemed struggle quite a bit, wiggling out of them.

It actually made the umbreon a bit...uneasy, or maybe nervous, to just be standing there watching the vaporeon undress. He wasn't really sure what to do. Should he look away? No, that would probably just make it more..weird. Usually he was pretty comfortable with things like this, seeing it as no big deal, but it was just different now, due most likely to the things he'd said and the pleasant kiss he had received. He bit down on his lip a bit, as he just averted his eyes until the article of clothing was passed off to him.

Once it was passed off to him though, he caught sight of those rosy cheeks again and it pulled a smile to his lips, just before he received a light punch to his shoulder. He laughed at it, he couldn't much help it. That was perhaps the most 'gentle' Silas ever got. So, he decided rather than to pick on him further, he would just grant his request and be off to find some pants. He snatched up the hand that had 'punched' him though, before leaving the bathroom, and pulled it up to place it over his own cheek for a moment. He smiled, "Fine." he said quietly before placing a quick kiss on the man's hand and making his exit with the clothing.

He escaped quickly, before Silas could react and possibly get some of his feisty self back to retaliate. And before Silas could notice that he was actually rather nervous about kissing him anywhere right now. But, even though he was a little nervous about it, he still wore that pleased triumphant smile as he made his way down the hall to his room to find some pants.

Once he had dug out a pair that he thought wouldn't have to be rolled up too much, if at all, he exited his room and headed down the hall, stopping in at the laundry room to throw the clothing in and start up the wash.

He only got the chance to raise an eyebrow briefly before his eyes went a little wide at Dendera's actions. It took a moment for the kiss on his hand to fully sink in, but once it did he only got the time to open his mouth to protest before the Umbreon was already making his getaway. Silas closed his mouth after a moment, only staring at the now empty bathroom doorway before his eyes found their way to his hand, which seemed to temporarily be stuck in the air where it was left. He retracted the hand after a moment, bringing it closer to his face only to stare at it, his expression going from blank to a little confused, his eyebrows drawing together a bit as they had done earlier.
'What have I gotten myself into..' he thought to himself, moving a little to lean against the bathroom sink counter.

The Vaporeon's blush finally started to diminish to his usual pale, ivory skin tone, his hand still raised near his face, eyes seeing it yet not seeing it. His mind was racing, yet couldn't focus on anything in particular.
'What am I doing? What does this mean? Don't I already know what it means? Why are things changing? I already know why they're changing. But what if something goes wrong? Can I do this? Can I handle this change? But what if I want it? What if I don't? But I do? But what if he leaves? He said he wouldn't, but what if he does? What if I leave? What if things turn out similar to last ti-' he thought rapidly before bringing his other hand up to his face quickly, covering it as if to silence the thoughts circling his mind, '..just shut up.'

Silas turned after a moment, setting both palms on the edge of the bathroom sink counter and leaning forward a bit, himself and his reflection staring at each other, eyes searching for some sort of answer that they couldn't find. His expression melted after a moment, turning as vulnerable and fragile as it had when his costume mask was removed, if not more so.
"Don't look at me like that," he said quietly, leaning closer until his forehead met the cool reflective surface, eyes closing for a moment, "..damn it, he's made me such a mess," he finished quieter, letting out a quiet sigh. 'But..maybe I was always a mess..?' he thought to himself, pulling himself from the mirror at the sound of foot steps, rubbing a face with a hand briefly while turning and leaning up from the bathroom sink counter.

He felt so tired, yet couldn't find it in himself to be drowsy. He was exhausted, yet didn't want to close his eyes. Silas's attention was growing more and more focused on the footsteps as their sound got louder, closer, a new nervousness creeping up his spine and into the pit of his stomach. Part of him wanted to run, part of him wanted to hold onto something, tightly, try to ground himself into something and leave an impression. He wanted to be forgotten, left alone, yet he wanted to be remembered and around something, someone. His chest almost ached with the conflict and unusual feelings that had finally surfaced, as well as the ones that had always been there. But, Silas couldn't act on anything, didn't know how to act on anything, didn't know what to do. All he could do was watch and wait, his expression calming, yet slightly unsettled.
