Chapter 25: Are You Afraid of the Dark?
"Say that again?" Solaris questioned, head tilted to the side as that voice resonated in his head with another sigh.
'Last time. There is a problem in the southern area. Moonfall's father told me that some sleeping sickness is spreading down there. That area is QUARANTINED, Solaris. In no way should you even consider going there. For NO REASON. Please, stay out of trouble for just this week. I'm already at my wits end with this Lopunny fiasco and I'm sure your paws are full with Nico right now.'
"Sure thing, Alfred." The Espeon pipped, but the Gardevoir had already severed the telepathic connection.
Solaris sighed, it seemed there was more trouble on the way.
"Hey Daddy!"
He turned spotting Ami pad up, a smile on her face. The Vaporeon sat down and curled her mermaid tail around her paws.
"Ah, yes? Was there something you needed, dear?"
She nodded enthusiastically.
"When Romeo and I left, I noticed you just told everyone I went to boarding school by the way, we came across something odd which is why I came back."
"Oh?" He had thought she and that Mightyena had a little lover's spat. Now he had to go back and make more plans on how to kill that little b*****d.
"I believe I've found where Darkrai is hiding..."

"Did you warn him?" Sasha asked, stepping into the room at the Tower of Rebirth.
The Lucario held a face that clearly stated she did not care, but had asked to see if Alfred had done so or not.
If he had not she had an excuse to yell at him.
"Yes, I did. Many times." Solaris was apparently becoming deaf or Alfred needed to learn how to speak in smaller words.
Sasha nodded and then gave a forced laugh before shaking her head.
"...you do realize by telling him NOT to do something you've just ensured he will, dont you?"
Alfred frowned, the realization dawning on him.
"Arc'DAMMIT!"

Solaris---Ami
Solaris struck the warning bell with a frown, he had not wanted to go against an actual order, but this seemed to good a chance to pass up.
If it truly was Darkrai's lair then they could trap him inside and deal with this menace once and for all.
His rational side [Yes, he has one. It's just very quiet most the time] said to leave it alone and avoid another painful dose of nightmare fuel.
Ami sat behind him, eyes wide with excitement. He honestly hoped she was telling the truth and not trying to make an adventure.

Lars & Autumn
Autumn shoved Lars through the door. Zeke was to stay behind and tend to the house and the new egg they had in their possession. Lars side glanced at his partner, but said nothing. Maybe later, if he would remember, but not in front of Solaris and the others who were not far behind. They were still new to this place, and not well known. What kind of first impression would that be? Yelling at his adorable tiny partner. Even if she was a hell beast.

   ~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Claudia~ While the boys are away, the girls shall play. Instead of the usual trio found representing Team Lunar Curtain, a different party appeared to answer the Warning Bell. Side by side, Veronica, Vanessa, and Claudia entered the room, all looking ready for action, if not a bit impatient. "Arc'damn, why do we always have to wait for everyone else?! It's such a pain not knowing why we're here." Vanessa nodded furiously in response to Veronica's rant, eager to please. Claudia just rolled her eyes, "Now now, hun, be polite," Like she was one to talk, "You don't always have to know everything." Vanessa's eyes widened a bit, expecting quite the comeback from the temperamental Larvitar. However, Veronica merely pouted and tapped her foot impatiently,"Tch, whatever. It would still make things easier." Claudia chuckled a bit, pleased at Veronica's submission, and crossed her arms as she patiently waited for the others to arrive, and the latest issue to be explained.

 Zori & LunaZori trotted in with her head high and her leafy tail swishing behind her, just brushing Luna's shoulder as the Marowak followed along behind.
Both females seemed well-rested and bright-eyed; their tribal-like markings showing brightly, although, in truth, only Zori's were true markings.
Luna's swirls of teal were merely scars, where the Ariados venom in her veins had vaporized upon evolution, dying her blood vessels an unusual colour.
Zori pricked her ears, approaching Solaris and Ami with a calm, but serious gaze.
"What's going on?" She asked quietly, settling down next to them.
Luna hovered just behind her shoulder, muttering something barely audible that sounded strangely like "Who's on the menu today, kitty-boy?".
She was immediately silenced as Zori's leafy tail smacked over the Marowak's mouth.

  Saileithe~ DariusYou know, when you finally, safely assume things will be okay for a little while, that nostalgia inducing sound goes off. Now if all times too considering Crisis was still out of it for a few days but thankfully Darius, who looked rather oblivious, was here for her. “That’s the warning bell.” Sai answered his question before he had time to speak. Darius’ head just tilted slightly. “And?” He questioned back at her as he stood up, already about ready to leave. Sai’s eyes focused on him away from her book. “… And chances are we need to respond to it.” She replied with a sigh as she flipped her book closed and stood, making her way toward the ever growing sound with Darius behind her. Upon her arrival, it was the same routine as last time. Sit in the corner away from everyone else and wait for everyone to get here. Something was strange though, Solaris looked rather worried this time. Darius just remained next to her in an idle.

     Incultyr && Atra && Sherman && Zora && CecilIncultyr answered the alarm on his own. He told Morana to stay, for the Houndour was still not completely emotionally stable. Atra rode in on Sherman. Chase got killed and then Spade got seriously injured; that was it. Atra's decided to answer these alarms himself because it seems none of his teammates are capable enough to protecting themselves. Atra dragged Sherman along since Sherman's a freaking Salamence. Zora was ready to kill and eat things. Cecil was near the castle when he heard the alarm, and he knew by now it was to gather the guild together. His help probably won't hurt. ((Yay for too many characters and trying to do something else at the same time. I apologize for the quality of writing here. I've written so many posts answering the alarm that it's really boring to do so now))

Era & Ethfael Era and Ethfael arrived in the room as quickly as they could, both of them curious as to what the trouble was this time. "This bell is used far too often," Ethfael commented to Era as they looked around the room for some hint to what their Guildmaster wanted this time.
"There have been a lot of emergencies though," Era said, "At least I'd call them emergencies."
"True enough," Ethfael replied as the room continued to gain more occupants. Solaris looked almost concerned about something this time, an expression that seemed foreign for him to have. Behind him was an excited-looking Vaporean who Ethfael informed Era was his daughter. "Well, hopefully it's something interesting," Ethfael said, "Things have been a bit uneventful as of late."
"Be careful what you wish for," Era said, "You just might get it."

T e a m  A u r o r axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx Indigo and Leaf was eating a snake in their room. Leaf was content with the nice quiet while Indigo was content with eating. But all of a sudden they heard the warning bell which scared the two pokemon. Leaf was about to cuss but he stopped himself. He is the type of character that doesn’t say bad words. “That is not like you to attempt to say a cuss word,” Indigo said as she cross her arm.
“Well I’m starting to get sick of the warning bells. Ever since the first day, we have been battling supernatural creatures,” Leaf complained. Indigo shrugged. “Will is not like they are doing this on purpose,” Indigo said. Leaf sighed. “Should we bring the new recruit with us,” he asked. Indigo thought about it and shook her head. “We’ll bring them with us next time,” Indigo said. The two pokemon left their room and went to where the others were. Then they waited patiently to see what was going on.

Solaris,as usually, instantly teleported onto a nearby window ledge to address the guild.
He felt that if he was higher up it demanded attention and his words would not be ignored.
A possibly peeve of his from his Eevee years when he was barely a foot tall and his much larger sister would sit on him and demand he beg for mercy.
"We've news where Darkrai is currently hiding. It's time to deal with this threat once and for all. We leave immediately. Prepare yourselves, we'll be going into unknown territory..."
His gaze swept over the guild and he swallowed nervously. He desperately hoped he was doing the right thing.

Arriving late to the scene, an oddly-colored Riolu rushed in with his sword raised high.
Although he was from the Guild of Blazing Fire he gave Solaris a bow.
"We shall fight to the end for you, m'lord! FOR SPARTA!"
With that the fool thing took off out the door without waiting to see which way they were SUPPOSE to be going...
Um, yeah.
He'll catch up...eventually...

~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Claudia~ Solaris might not have said much, but it had been more than enough to get Veronica all riled up, "Darkrai? Hell yeah! I'm ready, let's go!!!" Stubby hands clenched into fists, Veronica pumped them furiously, and would have run out the door to parts unknown, had it not been for Claudia's forceful grip on her shoulder, "Patience, hun, you don't even kno-" The rest of the Banette's sentence was lost as a white Riolu burst into the area, sword raised high. Still subdued by Claudia's forceful grip, Veronica pumped her hand high in the air, adrenaline pumping through her veins, "FOR SPARTA!" Albeit, she didn't know what a Sparta was, but it sounded cool. As the Riolu ran off to parts unknown, Claudia let out an exasperated sigh, as if Veronica didn't already want to bolt off enough. For once, Vanessa didn't agree with Veronica's actions, she did have her own brain after all, "He makes me vant to punch tings. You know... if I 'ad 'ands." Still doing her best to subdue the struggling Larvitar, all Claudia could manage was a small, "Mmm..."

Zori & LunaLuna just rolled her eyes, and turned to leave.
Zori followed suit, the pair padding off toward the doorway.
It would be much preferred it, just once, they wouldn't have to go through a terrifying unknown portal, or worse; walk. One of these days, Solaris would just learn that he could Teleport his guild where they were needed.
Either that, or they'd have to start bringing Rin with them to battle, which already sounded like a bad idea.
They paused once in the doorway to await Solaris, for they both had a feeling that the Riolu didn't have a clue where he was going.

Saileithe~ DariusSai’s eye’s narrowed slightly. What kind of info was that? “News? From who?” She questioned, tilting her head slightly. Given after only a moment or so of silence, the Riolu came in screaming and startled her, causing Sai to jump to her paws and tense. Darius on the other hand just looked down at her. Sai turned red slightly as she sat back down. “..Okay where are we going?” Sai changed the subject quickly.

Era & Ethfael Era blinked with surprise. They were going after Darkrai? The last time this had happened they'd gone to the afterlife, fought six of the seven deadly sins, Selena and a Vulpix had been killed, Zero driven insane, and in the end Arceus himself had come down to protect them from Darkrai's trap, and so now they were all going to go after Darkrai again? As she thought, Ethfael voiced her own thoughts out loud. "Is this really a wise idea? The last time this happened... He looked at Era with concern. His partner had been driven mad by Wrath when they had been in the afterlife, and he wasn't eager to repeat the experience.
"Let's trust our Guildmaster," Era said after a pause, "I think we should have faith in him. He can be a bit...odd at times, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing at least some of the time. She smiled, at her partner, "Besides, I'm sure we can handle it as a Team, especially with the rest of the Guild on our side."
Ethfael sighed, "If you say so..." he responded. For the sake of doing something, Ethfael rummaged through the bag, ensuring that they had a few essential supplies for the journey. "I'm ready to go when you are," he said at last.
"Alright," said Era, "Then let's g-" She was cut off by the shouting of a Riolu who raced off out of the doorway without warning. Both Era and Ethfael stared after him for a moment before looking back at Solaris. The first thing they needed before anything could be done, was to know where they're going.
