What do you dream about? Anything relevant to real life, or are all your dreams fantasy? Have you ever dreamed about something before it happened?
If so, how did it effect you, if it did at all (feelings, actions, etc)?
**I feel this is on topic because dreaming of the future is, in my eyes, cosmically significant. If someone disagrees with this, post about it or find a mod and get it deleted.

I have had dreams like that before. It creeps me out alot of the times, because, I have the dream, barely remember any of it, and then, maybe, a few minutes before it happens, I remember the dream, even if it was like, months ago!!! Alot of my dreams I don't remember untill someone says something or does something to make me remember. It creeps me out, but it's cool in the same token.

I remember my dreams when they're important or vivid, but the strangest thing about the deja-vu dreams (as I call them) is that I've always forgotten them by the time what happened in the dream catches up with me. For instance, I dreamed about my senior year of high school when I was in middle school...
The only way they effected me was to give me the strange, almost pleasurable sensation that I'd been there before, making me feel like I'm on the right track in my life so far.
**What I wanted this topic to lean toward was a discussion on predestination... Are we bound to a set of outcomes or do we have free will? Please post your opinions; try to relate this to your dreams (or lack of them).

What you said there was interesting...I think we have a mix of both...We have the choice of changing our outcomes in life with ceritan decitions, but in the same token, there are things which we have no control over, and happen, like it was set for us straight from the time of birth. Sometimes, you can see it in dreams. It has apparently happened with the both of us countless times. I find it interesting how, when you have a de-ja-vu dream...you don't remember it untill something is said/done that makes you remember said dream, and everything seems so vivid. Hopefully what I just said was understandable...it makes sense in my mind...but I don't know about others. (I'm also getting over from a minor concussion)

No dreams are a natural occurance that happens to humans, I feel other living creatures as well, such as my dog. blaugh Yes, I have those kinds of dreams all the time. They don't show me exactly how it's going to happen, but they do, or who or something like that. xp sweatdrop But I do get hints and it happens in weird ways, but they are relevant to actual things that happen later. Having ESP or predicting the weather kind of runs in the family. I don't remember what it is, but some part of my mother's body hurts when it's going to rain. xp

He was wearing exactly what she saw him in. Some disbelievers may say it could have been a set pattern of clothes he has worn before and was a rountine maybe. But I don't know. I got the ESP thing strongly, but the thing is they are fuzzy still, but I know when something happens that I had seen it ahead of time. Like I said before too, ESP runs in the family. From my mommy's side. twisted

Kokaloo i usually dream about reality.... i usually remember mt dreams i dream about what is going to happen in the future and they usually come true 3nodding .... happens every night...... and then i usually see my dream in about 4or5 days sweatdrop How well do you remember them? I mean it could be useful if you write them down right when you get up. I started doing that and it was great. It was actually fun. I stopped when summer came and I'm actually mad at myself for stopping too. Some of my dreams I remember well though. I have some that are the in a way, like same place, people, plot, but the way it goes may change. I like them too. Especially ones that are kind of scary, but not what I would consider a nightmare, except for one I had when I was a child, I had it again when I was in my upper teens xp . That one was scary, the first time I dreamt it, I wanted to wake up but I couldn't. I scared the crap out of myself and like my sister and dad were in the room when this happened too. They had no idea. Actually just last week I think, I knew I was dreaming, but bascially awake and I couldn't open my eyes. It took awhile for me to open them. My eye lids felt very heavy and I couldn't lift them. It was scary. eek

My dreams, whenever they are of the future, are always as clear as if I'm looking through my normal vision, color and all. Sound, however, is a different matter; I usually can't hear anything with the exception of maybe one or two key phrases that stick with me sweatdrop ...... But my dreams are so far from the present that it wouldn't help me to transcribe them.
In fact, I had one lengthy dream that I remembered about 30 minutes of, and it was the sequence of events that got me an A in Comp II my junior year of high school. I dreamed about it in middle school, but since I knew none of the people involved (my teacher, guidance counselor, and some classmates), I disreguarded it... until I realized what was going on, that is. I went through that day the exact same way I did in my dream, but I felt detatched...... It was strange sweatdrop .

Yeah well ya never know writing them down could come in handy sometime. 3nodding
