The lights go out as Go To Sleep plays on the Titantron. Nightmare steps out, an evil look in his eyes as he looks around, hearing the boos from the crowd. He spits on the ground as he walks down the ramp and into the ring. He sits down on the turnbuckle, ignoring everyone as he waits for Cena.

*The light began to flicker on and off as the crowd begins to yell uncontrollably and simulatantously the opening notes of "The time is now" began to play. The first word is spoken and the horns began to blast as John Cena enters the arena, alone for the first time in a while. He was wearing his Chaingang baseball jersey and long black shorts, and a backwards baseball cap. He plays to the crowd. The crowd is still going wild as he walks down to the ring and slides under the ropes. He stands up and jumps around a little longer before pulling off his jersey and throwing it into the crowd. He removes his cap and throws it into the audience. Patiently but, tensely, he awaits the match. *

Venom walked out with the IC Title over his shoulder he obviously had a direct interest in the outcome of this match he stood on the ramp observing his next possible opponent.

He smiled, shaking his head for a second as he jumped down, noticing Venom for a second. He just smirked, crouching low and putting one hand behind him and one in front of him.
JR: What's this now??
King: Oh...I spoke with him a few nights ago, he decided on changing his style to one that he had been used to for quite some time.
JR: Why now??
King: He complained about his high flying skills, and starting talking about how his ground work and fighting skills were better than what he was doing.
JR: Well, we'll have to see.
Nightmare just keeps his smirk as he hears the bell ring. He kept a close eye on Cena, knowing that things might get hairy with the slight weight division disadvantage.

Cena looks at Venom with a look of anger in his eye. As the bell rings, Cena opens by circling his opponent watching for any slight indication of what he was going to do. With out, Shorti he was going to have to think things out, instead of having Shorti yell out things at him. He decided to play this round a little cooler and a little smarter.

He continued to circle him, crouched down a bit as he eyed his opponent. He charged in like he was going for a grapple, but instead, kicked him in the gut before attempting an irish whip into the turnbuckle.

He smiled softly, looking at John Cena, laughing and bowing for a second before getting back into his stance. He seemed to have a very creepy look in his eyes.

Cena had no idea what he was thinking but, he decided that it was time to put up so, he ran to Nightmare attempting a football tackel. Trying to bring him down to the floor.

Nightmare stepped to the side, seeing it coming before running up to him and going for a quick elbow drop.

Cena avoided the elbow drop by running into the ropes he leaned his back on it allowing himself to bounce off of the ropes. The momentum from the bounce propelled him into an attempted swinging neckbreaker.

Nightmare ducked under the neckbreaker and watched as Cena bounced one more time, right into his path as he went for an overhead slam.

Cena ducked under his arms avoiding the overhead slam. He stepped back and tried to plan his next move. He then went for a right hand.

Venom watched the match closely thinking Cena seemed a little lost out there without Shorti. "Well guess I'll be facing Nightmare next."
