Scrolling through the first page, I found no Elder Scrolls: Oblivion threads, so I felt I MUST make one. D:
Oblivion is the fourth game in the Elder Scrolls series, and it's (supposed to) come out on March 21 (a day before my birthday!!). It's been pushed back a few times now, but I'm hoping March 21 is the final date.
I'm also hoping some of you have played Morrowind (third in the series), because it's a very very awesome and addicting RPG (for X-box and PC).
So if anyone is looking for a new Xbox 360 or PC game to pick up in the spring, you definitely should save up for Oblivion. The graphics are simply stunning and and AI system is amazing. heart

I reccomend Chapter 1, 2 and 5. But all of them are worth watching, really.

Factions: Thieves Guild (Gray Fox), Mages Guild (Evoker), Dark Brotherhood (Eradicator?), Fighters Guild (dunno...)
Houses: 1 (killed Lorgren ;D)
Horses: None yet.
Progression in Main Quest: Just closed the gate at Kvatch... x3

*Excited* Wow, I just realized there isn't a thread for this game.
I'm not sure I can wait until the 21st (9 days before my birthday xd ). The AI does look incredible, there's supposed to be 1000+ NPCs *I think* at any given time. And it's programmed so they have a list of goals and create their own schedule. I almost died when I heard that.
Then, I'm looking forward to *gasp* NO load times! Squee! It's supposed to be like, 16 sq. mi., only the... game-y translation of 16 sq. mi.
One last thing before I stop sounding like a rabid fangirl. Have you seen the Xbox disc preview? It shows the AI with the lady killing her dog. I've decided the first thing I do when I get the game is kill her for killing the dog ^.^

I am psyched.
I play Morrowind for the Xbox. But that's proving to be a problem since my brother never lets me borrow the supposed "family" Xbox. (He doesn't live with us, you see.)
It was actually my brother's copy. But he's not as big a fan of sword-and-spell RPGs as I am. Or at least not as fond of the Elder Scrolls.
Anyways...OBLIVION!
Even though I have my own savings...I'll probably be begging my parents for it. Or...hey! I have that American Express gift card my aunt gave me for Christmas! woot!
I'm worried my comp. won't be able to handle it though. But it's really my only option, since there isn't any hope of me getting an Xbox 360 'til next Christmas. ._. And by then I'll probably be drooling over the PS3.
My family's always been a bit late when it comes to catching up with the new systems.

Pretty neat. biggrin I know, she does have awful aim with the arrows, I laughed at that. The dog I was all 'curse you!!!' The sneaky is going to equal heart . I love being sneaky, mainly cause I'm too wimply to be all run straight towards 'em and beat up-ish.

Well, most of them. Oblivion was postponed due to some glitches and wanting to smooth every detail to perfection. But I'm overall satisfied with the 360; then again, I didn't pay for it. My brother did. I don't really like Microsoft, per se, but the system's pretty good...

Oh yes i can't wait for this game to come out. it was suppose to come out around the launch of the xbox360 but got pushed back. when me and my friend (fellow morrowind fan) found out is wasn't comming out.. we just hugged each other and cried crying . this game is awesome i never beat it but my friend did. i just keep making new characters over and over again. i really hope it comes out in march ... even sooner would be better. they did this same thing with zelda... don't tell me the release dates unless they are set in stone. they get my hopes up to much cry
