Just as the title says. What inspires you to draw, paint, write, play, create, do anything?
I usually get inspired to draw by books or songs

Music usually, or books. Sometimes movies, but only of they are REALLY good, and have something worth drawing or an idea worth working on.

♭♮♯ Sleeping wonder lies to me, and the lies are sweet. For my poetry, it's usually just emotions. Any emotion, whether it's happiness or just boredom.
For songs, it's mostly boredom. Sitting on my bed with my violin, I've got nothing better to do than play random notes.
For stories, it could be a dream, a movie, a book, or a song. ♩♪♫♬
Music is sung with simple words, and simple words can save the world. ♯♮♭

As terrible as this sounds, what inspires motivation within me is competitiveness. I like doing better than others.
As for creativity, I'm inspired by strange things that catch my interest, mainly real life events I can distort and put my own spin on. Also events that could have happened. For example, when I was in High School, a student was expelled for threatening to bring a gun into school and kill teachers. I wrote a short story from the perspective of a witness writing an essay on the experience, and her personal feelings about what could have been done to stop it.
Dreams help a lot, too.

When I write, draw, and sing, I'm inspired by photography, whether it be black and white or colorful, it doesn't matter. I'm also inspired by different songs, normally rap, oddly enough. Along with that, I'm inspired by the emotions I feel during that current moment. =3
