I have a three hour lab on thrusday mornings that contains only about an hour worth of work for someone who reads at the speed I do (hint: I'm pretty quick :c).
Lucky for me it takes place in a computer lab!

I used to come on here when I was in class in Japan... but the teacher would notice and lock down my computer.

The entire screen goes red with a big white "LOCKED" in the center. Kind of embarrassing.

They dont give a crap!

Though honestly the fact they could remotely lock the computers like that is a pretty neat setup =o

My Mum goes on a forum where people with the same job as her share tips, ask questions, etc. She keeps calling the posts 'emails'. xd
And my Aunt goes on forums and blogs and comments on them... but she keeps saying that she's 'blogging' and I get mildly interested and ask to see her blog, before I figure out what she actually means.

working through the blocks they put up in a lab is like figuring out the 5 degrees of separation.

everything is connected to everything if you know how to find the links, so you just go from one to the other.

for instance, a school computer will let you access college sports, so you go there to college wrestling, which links you to pro wrestling, which links you to event promoters, which links you to Vegas, which links you to porn.

so i've been told (i actually saw a guy do this)

I did that sort of thing back at my old university. I set up my university profile to have a link to google, and I could use the self-service kiosks to do anything I wanted. ninja
(Normally, those were just for looking at school info.)
