Yeah, Nitori. I guess in the process of being transformed into a cute girl they lose certain features characterized by the original youkai. Maybe you will recognize what Nitori is better when she looks like
this.
Orochi is interesting. Can't imagine it as a character so I would think it would play a role simular to the giant catish or sigma.

ZUN has yet to do Nurikabe, Futa-Kuchi Onna, and Umiboza. I almost said dragon envoy but I remembered that title falls on Iku.
... I guess thats why Frank and I's OCs are a Nurikabe and Futa-Kuchi Onna respectively.
I would love to see a Futa-kuchi Onna and a Rokurokubi since they are both well known youkai. The only problem is that the very characteristic that make them what they are seem to conflict with ZUN's way of doing characters.

Tanuki is another good choice, though it would be hard to make into a cute girl unless you ignore a specific
