--- Arena Infirmary ---
{{Image Coming}}
With the Chuunin Exams come much danger, and hosting countries know well in advance that the final matches can be rather intense. Therefore, the infirmary is well stocked with the proper equipment for emergency surgery and procedures of all kinds. In general, it does not come to that, and the infirmary is simply used to patch up the Genin after their battles, but the facilities are ready for all situations regardless.
Here, Genin are brought after their fights to heal and rest in between their battles. visitors are always welcome, but for any severe situations requiring major surgery, access is restricted from the back room. Given the generally small volume of people utilizing the facility (as it is only used for the Chuunin Exams), there are only about 3 rooms and 10 beds total. The other 2 available rooms are emergency surgery areas used for different purposes.

Konaga Shinji | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | In the infirmary, Shinji simply sat on the table, watching the medics slowly circle him as they healed his wounds. Being in an emergency room was always a strange situation for Shinji. He was told he couldn't move, and yet he could do so just fine if he chose to without any additional pain. More then anything though, the experience tortured him as he simply sat there, his bloodline chakra surging through his veins in waves of pain as the medics dealt with his physical wounds. "Don't worry about the blackened burn scars... you can't do anything about them" Shinji said as one nurse examined his arm and tried to figure out what had caused it. She looked confused for a second and tried to place some chakra into his arm to heal the obvious chakra burns, but soon found that he was right and that nothing she did had any effect.
They stuck an IV in to deliver fluids and were about to give him medication to dull the pain of the injury as they healed it, but Shinji refused it immediately. "Look, it's wasted on me, don't even bother trying to dull the pain, just do what you need to do. I guarantee you I won't budge." Another round of confused and furrowed brows followed his statement, but the nurse complied, as she weaved a few hand seals, her hands soon glowing a light green color as she attended the large gaping slash wound on his left side. Sighing heavily, Shinji just laid back and stared at the ceiling. He didn't know how long it would take for her to finish, but afterward, he would need to meditate before the next fight. He hoped to be at full health by then, but in the end, he knew he would be fine. His body had, after all, been well hardened to such things over his entire life.
So instead, he simply sat there, absorbing the pain of his bloodline as it washed like waves over him, astounding the nurse as any other patient would normally be in screaming pain when having such a large wound worked on. Shinji was screaming however, though it was all internal, as his mind and body fought back the waves of chakra flowing through him. Medics always had a hard time with Shinji as it seemed like his body fought against the healing itself at times, but Shinji never made reference to the reason why. Medics simply had to work harder to fight back what seemed like an immune system response, when in fact it was just his raging chakra's first response to repel foreign chakra. Healing chakra however eventually won over as the Konaga's bloodline chakra slowly realized it was not an invasive chakra and after a while the wound began to close and heal properly. Konaga Shinji | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | After several hours of agonizing pain, Shinji was beginning to get restless staring up at the ceiling. He could feel beads of sweat drip off of his skin as his body was constantly wracked with the pain he felt from bloodline, but he was increasingly unable to appease it. Lying in the bed, unable to move was utter torture... his legs and arms burning from the black chakra burns which ran across them. His entire body was being flooded with pain as his chakra lashed out against his weakened state. In actuality, his pain was not much greater then it always was, but having expended so much of his energy, his body was not as well equipped to suppress it as he normally was. So he laid there. His mind flooded with thoughts of pain as he lost himself in the internal monologue his body was broadcasting to him.
However, after much of this, the nurse finally stepped away, wiping sweat from her brow as she stepped back, examining the work she had done. she had almost completely regenerated the laceration and restored Shinji to normal, but that area would still be weak before he could get another treatment. It would have to wait though as his body needed rest... and so did she. Taking great care, the nurse sat Shinji upright and wrapped bandages around his waist, making them very tight before securing them with a knot. "Thank You." was all Shinji was barely able to eek out, beside a grateful smile to the nurse as she walked out, which she responded to with a smile of her own before leaving Shinji alone in the room as she shut the lights off.
Without a second thought, Shinji's hands moved into the concentration seal he used to help center himself in his meditation. it would be another 2 hours before he could be free of the pain, but just making the seal seemed to trigger a relaxation throughout his body as it knew he was working towards meditation. Shinji'd mind wandered a bit however, wondering what David was doing, how Riko was... if she even knew what had happened to him, or if she was watching the fight. he wanted to watch the fight between Yamatano and Zin to learn of their styles, but as he was the first match, it didn't seem likely he would get the chance. Perhaps a replay could be displayed for him the next morning.
Eventually however, Shinji was able to release his thoughts and fall into a meditative state as his body was slowly engulfed by a silverish-white aura. The aura itself illuminated the darkened room with a pale light, which could be seen from outside the room. As he was engulfed in it, the burns across his arms could be seen to glow a slightly brighter color then the aura, as if being highlighted by the leaked chakra. Through the course of the night, different veins of the chakra burns would pulsate, the glow they gave off, intensifying, then dying away several times before dying down completely to reveal that the chakra burn had been removed and the area healed. And Shinji, inside his dream was finally able to relax, his mind creating a perfect utopia for him where he felt no pain as he found himself leaning against a hillside, looking out over a majestic waterfall, basking in the full range of senses he had access to only through his dreams as he relished even this brief reprieve from the accursed pain of his bloodline. Konaga Shinji | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Waking up in a jolt as the aura around him faded away and reabsorbed into his body, Shinji sighed heavily to know he was back in reality again. Pain immediately flooded back into his system, his body unwilling to relent for even a second after his meditation. Still, he felt much better now then he had before, if in fact the pain a Konaga had could be understood to be any better or worse then absolute agony. Forcing his body to move, he tossed the sheets of the bed he had been healed on away as he got up, looking down at the bandages wrapped around him before getting dressed.
He took some time to stretch and to position all of his equipment and clothes the way he liked them, but was upset that his clothes had been torn on left side and were drenched with now dried blood. He had nothing else to wear however, so he simply put it on like normal and waited, eating some food as he watched a replay of the fights which he had missed, trying to make note of each of the fighters as much as he could. After he had finished some trail rations, enough at least to sustain him, it wasn't long before he heard his name called to the arena, along with his new opponent's he walked out to the arena to meet his next challenge.

Hiniko woke feeling dazed and horribly confused. Her head was killing her, and she seemed almost blind with the pain. The lights were to bright despite being dimmed down very low. She had wires hooked up to her skin and they felt very uncomfortable. But it only took her a moment to remember what happend. the memories were very painfull ones.
She had been standing next to her apponent when suddenly a wave of pain seemed to swallow her head. she rememberd falling and almost writing in pain as flames eemed to swallow her mind. She rememberd having attacks before but never as painfull as this. Anger over took her fueling her pain to where tears glistened in the corners of her eyes.
She had been dropped from the tournement because of this...this defect inside of her head. She was a failure because of what those sick twisted people had done to her. She heard her heart moniter beat wildly and though she didn't think she was she felt as if she was glowing with caged anger.
she would kill them. rip them apart from hurting her and keepig her from the most important parts of her life. She phased in and out of conchancness her heart rate never slowing down and the pain never easing.

Zin entered the infirmary with a hopes that his thoughts were wrong. The child didn't want to think Hiniko had another attack. He knew, that it was the only possible ailment that could have stopped her from being entering the final stage. Coming to the desk, Zin smiled softly,"I would like to find Hiniko Hyuuga." He hissed as Nagi and the other serpent kept looked about the area curiously. Seeing people entering and exiting with various injuries or inner ailments that would bring them to an unfortunate visit of this place. His eyes narrowed as the woman answered 'Yes' and indicated the room. The child's face fell as he simply nodded and started to head towards the back to find the room indicated. Poor nee-chan... I hope... she made it as a Chuunin at least. He thought to himself as he shook his head and finally built up the courage to knock,"N... Nee-chan?"Zin called out hoping he'd receive a strong answer but... with the sinking feeling in his heart Zin he knew it would more than likely be a weak one.

Hiniko had just about to fall into a sleep again when a nock came at her door. she tried to calm herself down but she just felt so angry and hurt and the pain was driving her mad. she didn't know where her medicine was at. "come in." she tried to call but her voice was cracked, and it didn't sound strong at all. She didn't atempt to sit up anymore than the halfway sitting up she was already doing. movement made her dizzy and the anger was already taking care of that.

Zin smile turned into a deep frown as he heard he voice. It was void of the usual energy that he usually caught for Hiniko; it was cracked and weak. Almost as if she had been through a tremendous war, and sadly that war was internal. Opening the door, the child's heart couldn't fall lower as he saw Hiniko's condition. He body hooked up like she was in intensive care while her face gave a look of being in pure pain. Zin walked slowly into the room and took a seat closest to his 'sibling',"Wh....What happened to you nee-chan?"He asked as Nagi was too afraid to give Hiniko his usual greeting. With her body hooked up like a sack of meat, he couldn't tell if it would even be a good idea to put forth contact. It seems like her attacks are getting worse by the minute... He thought to himself as Zin tried to give an encouraging smile but failed tremendously.

Hiniko imediatly tried to turn her face blank as Zin walked in. The last thing she wanted him to see was how hurt she was. The pain made it hard to realy focus on him. she tried to give him a small smile atleast but she could feel the anger coiling inside her much like Nagi on Zins shoulder. She tried to make her voice sound strong for him. She didn't want him to worry, and somehow she felt as if if she showed to much pain it woulod lower what he thought of her.. He was strong, a thousand times stronger than her and if it weren't for the mind splitting pain in her head she wouldn't be here. She would be outside, fighting for her place as equals amongst the others.
"The pain..in my head." She managed to answer. she tried to raise her hand to pet Nagi, but the chords tuged on her and she stopped sighing. She was angry, her words were laced with venom now and she hated this. She hated zin seeinng her this way. So she focused on that. The more she focused on being angry, the easier it was to ignore the burning.
"Because of those vile disgusting people im stuck in here." she murmerd through clennched teeth unsure if he would hear her. She hoped she didn't come across to him as rude, or ignoring him. it was just so hard to concentrate. she closed her eyes a minute but was wide awake

Zin frowned even more as Hiniko tried to suppress her pain in front of him. She should know that Zin of all people could read others emotions quite easily. It mostly showed through her voice and the way she talked to him as it wasn't nearly the soothing tone of his elder sister in the least. Nagi hissed sadly as did the other snake on Zin's shoulder as the child simply stared at Hiniko and her horrid condition. If only he was back in Konoha, he could start working on something that may help her; yes it was forbidden but Zin cared not at this moment. The child had already broken a few rules to gain power and he definitely wasn't going to stop now.
"So it did happen..." He hissed softly as he looked down to his little feet a bit before looking back up to Hiniko looking sadder by the minute as she couldn't even more from the bed to hug them."Nee-chan... I may have a way to end your pain. It is... quite dark but... I think it would halt your headaches and make you twice as strong. All I ask... is for you not to get the Hyuuga Clan seal." He said quite sternly as the Naga prince had an idea that may combat his sister's plague. And truly manipulate the darkness that radiates in her heart. For he felt her want for power and the harm she retains when she feels useless. With those negative feelings, Zin could turn his sister into a perfect companion of destruction; all it takes is a little chaos in ones soul to bring out sheer hate.
"They haven't hurt you have they nee-chan? If they have... Well... Hehe." Zin giggled cutely but it was the same giggle he did went he butchered the man in the Rice Country. Nothing was cute about that little laughter. It was dripped in the same blood thirst that his uncle Jei would probably praise him for. The boy was already a little down that he didn't make the top two even though being the third strongest Genin out of all the five nations was quite a feat in itself; he still needed to release some aggression from his heart. And, 'lo Zin still was injured from the fight with Shinji; there was more than just brute force to murder those that harmed his 'family.'

Seeing that his sister truly needed rest, the child got up onto his feet. He leaned over and gave a kiss to her forehead,"Nee-chan... Stay strong. Only then will your receive the revenge you desire." He said giving a wicked smile before it turned cute once more,"See you back in Konoha!"He said excitedly as the child departed from the room, giving Hiniko one last look and gave a comforting childish smile before exiting. Seeing Hiniko in that state only made Zin further want to receive the notes his father had left for him. The child had one portion of the notes but he needed the second to fulfill the requirements of the jutsu; a technique in which he knew would bestow power upon those he felt that were worthy, while similarly, bring them under his permanent control."We have a lot of work to accomplish once he return back to Konoha Nagi-san."He hissed softly as the child walked back towards the Chuunin participant area; mind racing for things that he needed to accomplish.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Arriving at the infirmary, as soon as Luo walked in, the nurses and med-nin gave him one look before kicking into gear and getting beds. As one nurse grabbed Shinji off of his right shoulder and placed him in a stretcher, Luo did the same for Kaizen. As he went over what was pretty visible damage, Luo also went over what he suspected could be internal as well as the chakra loss suffered. As the med-nin nodded, Luo walked into the room and sat in the corner, folding his arms and putting his head down while keeping an eye on their progress, Luo meditated silently to himself until everything was over and done with.

Konaga Shinji | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Walking in under his own power, much to the shock and awe of the nurses, Shinji came into the infirmary, his father close behind him as he watched his son painfully make his way to the table with a proud smile. Getting up on the table, Shinji began to give his usual speech about not needing anesthesia and laid down on his back, allowing the nurses to get to work. Everything was still so much more pleasant then any of the times before. Still hsi body ached with pain and the agony of his body still raged within him... but it was further away now, suppressed, in the back of his mind as he could still see his father sitting not far away as the man took a seat next to the Mizukage.
He knew that his father had to have some kind of alterior motive for being here, but as he had said, it would have to wait. For now, as he laid on the table, Shinji had to focus on calming himself as much as possible to allow the nurse's healing to take effect and to deal with the inevitable discomfort of having to be awake through it all when all he wanted to do was meditate. As clothes were slowly removed to facilitate the diagnostics, Shinji's body would reveal an incredible amount of damage, far beyond what you would imagine someone of his level would have been able to fight under, or even walk with. He had two gaping, open wounds, one on his upper chest, and another on his left side... bruises and cuts strewn about all over his body, but most shocking were the incredible number of black veined chakra burns which were laced across all of his limbs, each one practically having seared itself into Shinji's skin. The nurses could only imagine, but from the sheer amount of them and the fact that they spanned the full length of all of his extremities, it looked beyond painful.
From the back of the room, Seijiro smiled as he watched the nurses stare somewhat blankly in awe of the chakra burns. "Don't even bother trying to heal those burns. Focus on everything else... Shinji and I will take care of the rest." The nurses kind of just nodded with blank stares and went to work as instructed, leaving Seijiro to lean back and watch them work, wondering what the Mizukage would have to say to him if anything. By now, the man must have released the intense amount of energy flowing within him and the violent nature of the pure, unbridled raw force of it all. The pure amount of chakra alone would be higher then the Mizukage's himself, which would be incredibly strange for a man who seemed to be a civilian outside the shinobi world. Even more curious then that however was how the man kept referring to Shinji as 'his son'... when he himself couldn't possibly look like he was more then 5 years older then the young boy.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Luo sat there meditating, his eyes opened having been more than disturbed by the presence beside him. As he looked up, he first noticed the two boys being worked on. As Luo looked at Shinji's body, he noticed what he had only assumed as an internal ailment wracking his chakra system and even normal blood vessels with black burns. The boy had indeed suffered through a lot, and even walking in here alone was at best risky. In all honest, Luo could see the diligence in the young Konaga that Luo's father remarked seeing in him when he was younger. But what didn't concern him was Shinji or even Kaizen, having full faith in the medical team there.
But just as Luo opened his eyes in time to check on who was next to him, he was wracked with chakra that pulsed from the man. Luo's own chakra had not been inseminated in any other way other than daily routine, however what this man was doing could in some instances be considered a threat or even attack in its own right. Raising an eyebrow at the display, Luo's glance lazily happened upon the man next to him as he muttered, "I don't mean to by any means be rude sir, but it is rather rude to release your chakra in such a manner, especially in such close proximity to the medical team. Not many people have the endurance to withstand the complete force of your chakra in such an enclosed area." As Luo paused for a moment, he at last turned his head to allow his gaze to fall on the man, a beam of light catching his midnight blue eyes. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Konaga. Although if you don't mind my saying, you look a rather young to be Shinji's father."

Konaga Seijiro | Konaga Clan | NPC | Clan Master | Tilting his head to the side as the Mizukage spoke to him, Seijiro let a small smile escape across his face as he glanced over at him, his strangely prismatic red eyes catching Luo's own. Flecks of light seemed to be constantly moving through the man's large irises, which on closer examination, were glowing particles of chakra hovering and moving around within them, which gave them their prismatic look. "No offense taken at all Mizukage-sama, it is a rather fine compliment to be said to look so young. I assure you however that I am quite old enough to be my son's father. Not that you're much different, but I'm old enough to be your father as well, not to mention the rest of the people in the room."
The man's smile widened as he made his comments, knowing that they would be confusing with his youthful complexion, but it was something to be expected. "Konaga have always had a youthful look about them, it's just one of the strange benefits of what some might otherwise deem a curse on the body. You would think it would work the opposite way then it does, but it's just another one of the great mysteries we have yet to solve. My apologies about my somewhat "overbearing presence" in regards to my chakra however. I meant no disrespect, nor was I aiming to make anyone uncomfortable, but I assure you, there is simply nothing I can do about it. I am neither trying to release my chakra at the moment, nor could I hope to contain it anymore then I am. I am simply here to make my son's recovery more pleasant."
Everything about Seijiro, his soft tone of voice, his gentle smile, and even the words he used were the exact opposite of the chakra presence leaking off of him... he was peaceful and friendly in every way. "I take it the other boy is a student of yours? He has quite a fascinating ability... and an intriguing chakra signature. Not many forces can stand up to Konaga chakra, yet he seems to have done well enough for himself. Personally, I wouldn't have called the match a draw myself, but I can understand why you would think it was over... and besides that, I'm probably a little biased."
