basics
Name: Isaac
Age: Adult
Pack: Devvyl & Selia's
Rank: Seer (Although Gamma to his packmates? They don't know.. ninja )
Mate: Soul <3

Quick facts:
-He was named after Jason Isaacs. See a character resemblance, huh? Not quite? Oh well..

-His coat is based on this photo, actually of a plain black and white wolf, but the lighting makes her appear blue and cream!

-Isaac was born to the same pack as Notoka, although the latter, and younger, of the two only discovered this quite recently, as neither spent much time there before it was slaughtered by humans.

-He returned to the packlands to murder a childhood motherfigure, the old Seer from the pack, which sort of pissed both Lera and Notoka awf.. (see RP)

-Since early puphood Isaac's had flashback type dreams of the night he ran from his packlands. Not of what he saw that night, since he was long gone by the time the humans actually came, but of the massacre of his family. Although he never witnessed this with his own eyes, it is a scene his Seer powers have plagued him with.

-Currently only Soul, Lera, Notoka and Silva know that Isaac is a Seer. Not by his own admittance of course.

-Isaac walks on three legs, his left knee too damaged to be of much use. The Shaman, Sol-Lun, healed him. 8D He only has a slight limp now.

-He has only recently joined Devyyl & Selia's pack, while half-dead actually, carried there by Soul.

-As a teen he had great ambitions for himself, taking over the World sort of thing. But that sort of doesn't look too hopeful anymore..

-Now, Isaac basically just searches for means to entertain himself. Most likely at the expense of others, which he doesn't seem to have a problem with. He hates serious discussion, but loves being creepy and of course, ******** with other wolves' heads.

appearance
Isaac is a rather lanky adult male wolf. He has a midnight blue tint to his slightly shaggy coat with a light underbelly and a dark mask across his sharp, bronze colored eyes. He will often appear quite unhealthy, since he doesn't eat a lot, nor does he have a regular sleep pattern.
He isn't exactly the most popular of wolves, and bears a few reminders of this fact. For one, he has two small-ish scars running down the 'bridge' of his nose where his muzzle was caught in Notoka's teeth then yanked backward.
Secondly, he sports a few teeth/claw-marks on his left shoulder which are not so clear because of the longer fur, but these were a gift from Lera, along with a permanant limp due to a damaged knee. This is not so noticable when he's sitting or laying, but he currenly only walks/hops on three leg.
He's become a bit of a mess in fact.. :B

character
Isaac is a bit of a strange one. He's rather neurotic and fears, among other things, humans. He blames them for losing his old pack, even though it was really nothing to do with them.
He can be very twitchy, and i'm not quite sure whether his intentions are entirely good or bad. Although he's not very social, he does like to have fun with others sometimes, in an.. odd, talking crap kinda way. He's not particularly smart, but he has a troublesome imagination and he will give in to temptation easily.

Well, that was him as a pup anyway..

Since discovering his Seer potential, his character has developed quite considerably. His immature 'talking crap' has evolved into a habit of subtly tugging at truths other wolves try to hide away and ignore (aided by his 'gift'), and revelling in the results. He's also succumb to almost every temptation he's faced.
Though not so irrational anymore however, he still has his fears, and will fall to pieces when under pressure.
And although he's definately matured, he's still really quite odd..
The Seer from his old pack, Lewain, who tutored him for a while (er.. before he killed her. Long story. Go read up on it, it's fun. =D) told him that overworking the mind with Seer abilities has been known to lead to madness.

..Did he listen? I bloody well think not. He spent days at a time alone in his cave, obsessing over the perfection of his skills.
The result?
While not a fully fledged loony, his existing flaws have been twisted and amplified.
He also doesn't have the same sort of drives as other wolves. His are more uh.. corrupt?
He doesn't care for hunting, pack building or establishing dominance in the usual way. He's rather lazy for a wolf and doesn't like to work for his own food, so if he can, he will find ways of avoiding the awefully menial task of hunting.

Pack building? Well.. he plans to either form or join a pack, but he's certainly not in it for all that 'the good of the pack' crap.
He has an (often rampant) sex drive and will always be tempted to try his luck, whether he or the other female is mated or not. Since already making that mistake with Silva though, he's done his best to control the urges..
But he will always be a bit of a flirt, in his own weird ways.
He doesn't care for puppies however, having the sense to know that a bunch of mini-Isaacs running around may not be the best idea. (Doesn't mean they're ruled out of the picture though.. I'd still like some hell-spawn.)

As far as establishing dominance goes, he cannot fight to save his life. Literally. His laziness, lack of food as well as sleep, has obviously had a negative effect on his physical strength. Plus recent injuries mean he's literally a push over. Being a Seer however, gives him some advantage mentally. This also means that as long as his pack members know he's a Seer, he doesn't need to secure a regular rank. He's kept his abilities a secret thus far however, mainly because.. it's more of a tactical advantage if they don't know you have a tactical advantage. :B

Of course, all this is the Real Isaac. Most of the time, this is masked by a much more charming and light-hearted wolf. He's had a lifetime's worth of practice covering up his true motives and although he may have been a shitty liar to begin with, it's become second nature for him. And of course his abilities make lying and cheating temptingly easy.
So unless the other wolf is a particularly keen judge of character/a Seer, or he just plain ******** up, no one will be the wiser. (:
Please bear that in mind when RPing! n.n'

where to find the little buggar
He can often be found lazing about in or around the cave he found as a pup. There are large boulders around the entrance, hiding the mouth which is actually quite small anyway. An adult wolf might just be able to squeeze in, but only if it had a very scrawny build.
It faces out to what's now become the general area for packless pups and adolesents. Across this small clearing surrounded by various trees and bushes there seem to have grown a few other dens belonging to Nokota, Soul, Silva and Lera i think.

However, Isaac, another seer, was out to kill Lewain for malicious purposes (because he's all insane like). He did so in her sleep and then hid the evidence (by like drinking her blood xD). When lera and Notoka awoke they were like HOLY s**t. and kind of freaked out, not knowing what happened to Lewain. So they returned back to the neutral lands.

Quote:

"The formerly calm and tranquil atmosphere of the clearing was suddenly shattered when something small and furry crashed through the bushes and mist and stumbled out into the clearing, apparently very out of breath. It appeared to be a small wolf pup, bronze eyes wide and glinting in the dark. He franticly pivoted on the spot, turning back to the treeline and blinking a few times before scanning the edge of the woods for any signs of life. Not spotting anything at all, he quickly sniffed at the air for reassurance then wondered tentatively over to what seemed to be a large crack in some rocks near the foot of a hill. With a quick glance backwards, he slipped inside the cave and made himself comfortable in a flattened pile of straw, curling up and closing his eyes before snapping them open again, staring at the cave entrance and closing them once more.

* * * * * * *

The pup awoke with a snap. His mouth was dry, his body ached and he seemed to have no idea where he was. Then he remembered, how he'd been running. It was a bit of a blur in his mind, but at the time he just knew he had to run. He had some faint idea of what it was that he was running from, but now that he thought about it, he wasn't so sure that it was such a good idea.
He yawned and stretched out his short legs, catching the scent of something juicy outside the cave. He shook his coat from side to side to rid his body of the spiders and insects that had crawled over him while he slept, then ventured over to the cave entrance. He poked his head out from between the rocks, and quickly withdrew it again with a mild yelp. The sun burnt his eyes. He squinted slighty as he slowly lifted his head again, then crawled out from the crack in the rocks in search of something to eat.

* * * * * * *

Having found himself a week old rotting corpse of some unidentifiable small creature and gorged himself silly, the pup now found that his stomach was groaning quite obnoxiously. It was used to fresh meat scraps and berries, not THAT, whatever it was. He walked awkwardly over to the cave entrance and slumped in a patch of long grass just outside, to watch another day in this odd little place go by. If he were any braver he'd have attempted to find his old pack by now, but unfortunately for him that wasn't the case. He feared he'd run into those ugly, two-legged creatures again.

July 30th.

Reivan
Isaac's teeth chattered and his limbs shook as he made his way from the bushes and into the clearing. He dragged himself over to his cave, ignoring or simply not noticing anyone who may have been around. His eyes were red from lack of sleep, but he shuffled into a corner of his cave and collapsed there, unfocused eyes staring outwards pathetically.

Reivan
His tongue lolled out of his mouth as his breath fell heavily. His head rested on the ground as he lay on his side in the dirt, still shivering slightly, but making no noise. His eye lids dropped, then snapped open again frequently. He looked pretty aweful..

Reivan
He sucked the air down his throat with trouble, making a dry rasping noise ((Darth Vader style? X])) He seemed to be almost completely unaware of his surroundings and his limbs twitched, bumping against the cave wall as they did so.

shia-san
soul had wandered to isaac's cave. she took a step out ofthe bush, and then fell over to her side. she was still feeling sick. she then looked over to isaac and barked. "Isaac. are you ok!?" she said that in a whisper.

JadeEye
Of course I did, he says immediately, then drops his gaze to his paws. His ears twitch at the sounds of Lera and Soul and he can vaguely hear the latter inquire "Are you okay?" down Isaac's den.

Reivan
Isaac whined softly between breaths, he hadn't noticed Souls entrance. He'd started to mutter something to himself instead, it sounded vaguely like he was repeating the word "Tea" over and over in a pathetic half growl, half whine.

shia-san
soul managed to stand up as she walked to isaac. she sat at the back of the cave and tried not to scare him. she then whispered to him alittle loudly. "isaac?" she wanted to know if he was awake.

Reivan
Isaac's eyes were open, he seemed intent on keeping them that way, yet his vision was blurred slighty and he seemed not to take in what he was seeing. His breathing was now a mix of jolted gasps and drawn out rasps and he was shivering again, apparently still concentrating on his muttering.

JadeEye
Notoka notices what is going on at Isaac's den and gets to his paws before giving Silva a "follow me" motion and loping over to the group.
What's going on? Is Isaac alright? he asks in a serious tone, pushing his way through the group and sticking his head down the den hole. He nearly recoils at the sight of the other male, finding his behavior and appearance shocking.

shia-san
soul sat by isaac's head. she was truely worried about him. she whimpered as she yipped to him "isaac. whats wrong!?" she was also worried for he did not speak. she then looked to notoka. her eyes were full of worry as she then looked back at isaac. her headache was long gone.

Otsune
Lera arrived at about the same time as Notoka, her ears about the draw forward in greetings. But she stopped short- her head arching back at the bewildering site of Issac's condition.

Reivan
Isaac's bloodshot eyes rolled up to the cave ceiling and he groaned feebly before stuttering the word "I" some stupid amount of times, then finally mouthing the word "I'm.." and croaking, "dying.". He looked up briefly to see the crowd which had gathered at his cave, froze for a second, then slumped back onto the floor, out cold.

Otsune
Lera's face wrinkled in distress as Issac passed out. His breathing seemed shallow and staggering so Lera approach him slowly, laying down next to him. She slipped her head under his chest to prop his head up, in hopes to help his breathing. She barked to Notoka.

shia-san
soul's experession when he said this was shocking. she jerked her head back as she stood in disbelife. "no your not isaac! dont say that!" she snaped at him as she pushed her muzzle against his.

JadeEye
Notoka's eyes narrow slightly at such a show but he doesn't walk off like he usually would. Instead, he shoves through into the den so he's closer to the ill wolf. You are -not- dying, he finally answers, holding back his irritation as best he can. He tries to smell Isaac in various points, to see if he got himself poisoned by something...anything..., hoping the scent would still stick to the wolf's pelt.

JadeEye
I can't figure out what's wrong with him. The two-legs might know... he says after a pause, looking at Isaac for a moment before looking at Lera and Soul. He looks as though he hasn't eaten for days and he's exhausted.

Otsune
Lera's eyes narrowed a bit at at the suggestion of visiting the two-leggeds. Her last visit hadn't been very...pleasing. She stoods, removing herself from Below Issac and walking to Notoka. "Then some sleep will to him good," she said as she nudged his limp body.

JadeEye
Notoka looked at Lera for a moment, then Soul, then back at Isaac.
Lera, go see if you can find some food and bring it back here for him. Soul, stay here with him. I'm going to the two-legs. Maybe I can get some help.

He wiggles his way free back to the outside and takes off towards the two-leg settlement.

shia-san
soul nodded as she layed by him. she then rested her head on her paws as she watched him hopeing to see him awaken soon.

Otsune
Lera nodded, and walked off into the woods, picking up into a trot.

********************
~After some time~

Reivan
Isaac's limp form stirred and one bronze eye opened groggily, then the other. They grew wide as he took in a deep breath and realised he was back in his cave, and alive. "I'm, i'm.. i.." he spluttered, "I.. whah-??" He shot up from the ground and wheeled into the corner of the cave, where he found his legs had given way and his muzzle was suddenly covered in dirt as it met the floor. He ached like Hell and he had no clue what had happened. Laying there for a while, he scanned the small area. There was nobody around, yet smells lingered. Then he spotted food, near the entrance, the opposite side of the cave. "Why.. Why would someone leave food there?" he questioned the empty cave with a whimper, attempting to back up further against the wall.

JadeEye
Notoka had returned from the two-legs before sunset when Isaac had collapsed, but he was unable to find the two leg who he knew and therefore wasn't able to find help. Now he was resting outside his den, his head on his paws, watching the opening to the sick male's den. He wasn't terribly fond of Isaac, but he wasn't about to just abandon anyone. Besides, he was curious what had caused the other wolf to spasm and go incoherent.

Reivan
Isaac sat up slighty, what muscle he had was strained, but his stomach had begun to gurgle and there was nice.. tender looking meat RIGHT THERE. He just had to reach it, hopefully before whatever had left it there.. came back for it. He was sure nobody would purposefully leave him food. He gritted his teeth and kind of half rolled, half dragged himself nearer to the cave entrance. The smells wafting from it, it was like heaven, but.. Wait, maybe he had died after all. Maybe this was Hell. Maybe he'd.. never be able to reach it and.. And.. A whine escaped his throat, but he continued to edge forward, focused on nothing but reaching that meat.

Shaoilin
Notoka licks his chops, having eaten some of the meat that went along with the bit in front of the cave, and watches the other male stagger towards the meat. He figures he probably shouldn't say anything, figuring Isaac would go into convulsions again. A brow arches somewhat.

Reivan
Isaac stumbled forward, and fell to the cave floor again, just a few inches short. He stretched out his tongue and managed to get a small lick. Sooo gooood... Saliva dribbled from his mouth, and he made a last attempt to shuffle forward. He snapped up the meat, which seemed to be rabbit. As it disappeared down his throat, his eyes closed again and he lay there for a while. It was too bright outside to see anything, and his senses where drowned in ecstasy.

JadeEye
Notoka watches, musing to himself, until the meat is gone. He then gets to his feet and slowly strolls forward in a manner that hopefully doesn't startle the other male.

So you made it, he comments drolly, pausing a few yards away.

Reivan
Isaac's ears pricked up as something approached, having caught him off guard. His heart thumped as he realised how vulnerable he must have been and he tried to turn and squirm away. But his legs wouldn't allow him, instead he covered his face with his paws and squealed "I didn't eat it, i didn't eat it!!"

JadeEye
Notoka would be disgusted, if Isaac's behavior wasn't so sad.

The meat was there for YOU to eat so I don't care if you did or didn't, he says in a level tone, trying his damnest to appear nonthreatening or aggressive.

Reivan
Notoka's voice came like a slap across the face. Isaac took in a sharp breath and removed his paws from his face. He tentatively lifted himself from the floor and his jaw hung open as he peered into Notoka's eyes. He looked completely bemused.
"Oh." he said with a dry throat, not sure where he stood with Notoka.

JadeEye
Notoka settles back on his haunches, regarding the slightly older male with an air of amusement and curiousity.

So, what exactly happened to you? Or do you not know? he inquires in a nonchalant manner, looking right back at Isaac without a flince.

Reivan
Isaac watched Notoka sit back, his brow furrowing at the question. "I.." he began. "I.." but nothing more came. He looked down at his paws, brow furrowing more. Then he spoke to the ground, "I was.. walking. I wanted to get away from here, and away from them." Looking back up, he continued. "I didn't want to sleep. They're always there when i sleep. In dreams, i know.. Only dreams, you all say. Just dreams, that can't hurt you. But they can.. I mean, what do you do? How.. You.. You can't get away, you can't fight. Every time, i shut my eyes. They're... There. They're waiting. And.." he realised was babbling and cut himself off. "I don't remember what happened after the first few days, all i could think about was not shutting my eyes. Not sleeping. Because that's all that kept them away"

JadeEye
There's a long pause before Notoka does anything and what he does do is snort and shake his head.
I don't understand you at all. What is in these dreams that keep you from getting any sleep? Notoka slides down so he's lying down now, but his head is still raised. He's thinking Isaac is a nutcase again as opposed to sick.

Reivan
Isaac caught himself glaring slighty, but he was expecting to be insulted anyway. "Like i said, Just dreams. I knew you wouldn't understand." he looked away and sighed. "Two-leggeds, what do you think. Bad two-leggeds, Monster two-leggeds. Whatever.
I know you.. have this.. thing with them. I don't believe they are good, but if the two-leggeds you've met were the same as these, you'd do anything you could to keep away too."

JadeEye
Well they obviously aren't the same then, because I don't run from them. I never said that there weren't bad two-legs either...just look at Mitena, he says with a slight snarl to his voice, only it's not directed at Isaac. You need to see a shaman....too bad we don't have any gifted with those skills yet, at least that I know of. They would help you clear your mind so you could at least sleep.

Reivan
Isaac grunted lightly. "I haven't met Mitena. ...What.. h-" His jaw continued to move slightly, but he'd stopped speaking. Perhaps it was better not to ask what happened to her. He looked away, chewing on his tongue. "Doesn't help me much then does it. I.. don't think my old pack had a Shaman either. Not that it would have helped. Too late by then.."

JadeEye
Notoka sighs and licks a forepaw, figuring that it would just be best to not ask anymore questions. Not like he'd get much out of the paranoid wolf anyway. Instead, he just watches Isaac, waiting to see if he's got anything else to say.

Reivan
Isaac shifted his weight and cocked his head, thinking no more on that. "Who... Huh, did You leave that meat there.. for me.. then?" Last time they'd met he distinctly remembered the unwelcome coldness between them. What had changed..?

JadeEye
Yeah, I did leave it there for you. I figured you'd be hungry after being knocked out for a day and a half, he answers, again in a tone mirroring his nonchalant manner at this moment.

Sayuri_Nitta
Silva padded along, her tail brushing the grass as she went. She found herself in the clearing by the dens, and sniffed the air. She could scent Notoka strongly and Isaac. She shifted on her paws, wondering what they were up to.

Reivan
"A.. a day and a half??" he echoed, blinking a few times. He stretched out his forepaws and rolled onto his side. "I suppose that's why i was so achy and.. out of it. What.." A dull pulsing ache started up in his head when he thought about it. "I remember seeing you, and Soul, and some others.. and... It felt like i was.. dying. I thought i was dead." His eyes were wide, jaw open.
He whined softly, "Don't.. don't let me do that again. And, thanks i guess."

JadeEye
We were all there...we found you just before you passed out, he answers before quirking an ear, I don't plan on letting you do it again. You might not make it if we do.

Sayuri_Nitta
She made up her mind, following the scents and came across the cave entrance. She peered inside, trying to discern how far in they were in the gloom.

JadeEye
Notoka's ears swivel at the sound of an approaching wolf, but he doesn't turn to see who it is. His nose tells him that part. His muzzle curves into a slight smile though.

Reivan
"I.. I..." He didn't know what to say. "Well what do i do then..? Like tonight. Silva tried-" he started, then turned to see the wolf at the cave entrance. "Hello.." he said meekly.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Notoka?' she said, slipping further inside, her paws rattling loose stones as she walked. Her steps took her right inside and she went over to Notoka first, nudging him with her nose happily. She turned, looking at Isaac, his scent seemed a little off and she asked;
'Are you okay?' to Isaac.

Sayuri_Nitta
'Notoka?' she said, slipping further inside, her paws rattling loose stones as she walked. Her steps took her right inside and she went over to Notoka first, nudging him with her nose happily. She turned, looking at Isaac, his scent seemed a little off and she asked;
'Are you okay?' to Isaac.

JadeEye
Notoka licks Silva's ear in greeting before looking at Isaac again.
I'm not sure. I guess someone'll have to stay with you every night or something...even if I have to do it myself.

Reivan
"I.. um.. I.." He was stuck. He couldn't live like this."For the moment, yes.." he managed a slight smile, happy to see her.

Sayuri_Nitta
She went over to Isaac, licking the fur between his ears.
'Really? You look like you did when you said you had been having bad dreams. Only a lttle worse,' she sat back, looking over at Notoka.
'If you sleep here, then I will as well,' she said, nodding her muzzle a little. She didnt really want a den all to herself - no matter how long it was for.

JadeEye
He's not thrilled with the idea, but he'd be a jerk not to help and besides, the poor thing looked like he needed some sleep.

It's up to Isaac. I'll stay if he wants.

Sayuri_Nitta
She nodded, going back to Notoka's side and licking at his neck fur, then she washed his ear, before looking back over at Isaac.
'Are they the same dreams?' she asked.

Reivan
Isaac buried his head under his paws and lay silent for a while. When he spoke his voice was muffled and strained. "I don't want you to have to do that.. Every night. I'm not a pup.." he whined.
"We.. I... We're not even packmates."

JadeEye
Maybe you should find some packmates then, he says, half jokingly and half serious. He was somewhat sure that Tam liked Isaac enough, but the degree of friendship was unknown to him.

But in all seriousness, isn't Tam your friend? Maybe she ought to stay then, if you don't want us here. You are better friends with her anyway.

Reivan
Isaac nodded slowly as he looked up at Silva. He then looked away from them both, staring out the cave entrance and mumbled something about being an Omega if he were to join a pack. He didn't want that.
He turned back and looked into their eyes though, "Tonight. If you could stay, at least for a while.. i would.. appreciate it. I don't know where Tam is.. I haven't seen her for a while." He then lay his head against the floor, eyes on them both. After all they'd been though, he was still not totally convinced that they were both completely trustworthy. He was tired however, and was asleep quickly.

((Gotta go. :O *waves* heart ))

Sayuri_Nitta
'You need someone to be with you Isaac,' she said, resting a little.
'Not because we think you cant cope. I could not be on my own any more.' her ears flattened a little at the thought. She nodded at his words, and watched as he curled up.

Sept 3rd. Isaac = teh lazy.

Reivan
It was early morning and Isaac was laying on the river bank with a small pile of mangled worm in the grass near his head. ((like you do))
He appeared to be asleep but for the constant swivelling of his ears. It seemed he was attempting to lull the twittering birds above into a false sense of security, hoping they'd be tempted by the worms and come close enough for him to grab them.
He had noticed that he'd grown overnight, a few days ago, but he only seemed to have grown more lazy from it. His belly didn't seem to have grown at all along with the rest of him. He was taller, but only slightly stockier. So in his laziness he took to waiting for food to come to him, instead of stupidly, and most likely unsuccessfully, chasing after it.

Rayne Winner
Akando came out of the shadows on the other side of the river to get a drink. He lapped at the water then blinked and made a sound of distaste as he looked across the water at what looked like a dead wolf.

"Ewww. Are those worms trying to eat him?" He wondered allowed then sniffed at the air. He didnt smell dead. That was weird. Maybe he had died recently and had yet to start to smell?

The red eyed wolf started across the river towards the other wolf in a curious manner. When he reached the other shore he let out a sound of relief when he realized that the wolf wasnt dead. He was just laying there... with worms...

"Umm... Are you ok?"

Reivan
Isaac opened one eye, stared at the other wolf for a second, then snapped it shut again, cursing himself for trying this near the dens. "I'm asleep." he whispered simply, hoping he got the hint.

Rayne Winner
Akando tilted his head to the side then nodded, "Thats good to hear. I thought you being eaten by worms." He said then turned one ear forward in a curious manner, "Ummm. Any reason why your sleeping with a bunch of worms?"

Clearly Akando missed the hint.
Reivan
Isaac rolled his eyes and snorted, then lifted himself from the ground and cringed as the birds in the trees above flapped away. He then turned to stare grumpily at the red eyed wolf before giving a short smile. "They keep me company." he hissed.

Rayne Winner
"Company?" He looked confused why would a wolf want to hang out with worms they couldnt possibly be good conversationalists. He twitched an ear forward at the sound of birds then wagged his tail a little, "Man that sound reminds me. I want turkey today." He said scanning the area for tell tale signs that they were around or at least had been. He knew where they normally roosted that could be where he checked first.

Reivan
"Yes. ..Company." He glanced sideways towards the river, eyes narrowing. "Turkey, huh? You any good at catching them?" He layed back down on his belly, paws crossed in front of him. "I would, but.." he caught himself and looked over to the river again. "You go ahead, i'll be fine. You scared away my meal, but.. I'll live. I hope." He sniffed at the worms in the grass. "These really aren't very tasty."

Rayne Winner
Akando looked down at the worms and gave a snort of disgust, "I didnt mean to scare them off. I can get you something else if you want. Im going to the turkey roost. Those fat, stupid birds dont try to hard to get away. They might as well walk into my mouth."

He was boasting a little but truth be told he wasnt a bad hunter. It came with providing for ones self

"How about it?"

Reivan
"S'alright, you wouldn't have known.." he smiled kindly. "Oh" he said with apparent surprise, "that'd be very kind of you if you could.. I haven't had much practice with turkeys so i doubt i'd be of any help, but not that you'd need it anyway. I'm sure you could catch a whole pile of them by your self.. I'll be here though when you're done." he nodded slowly, brushing the worms away with a paw and laying his head back down on the grass.

Rayne Winner
Akando's tail wagged rapidly then he turned around and ran off towards the normal roosting spot for the turkey to make it up to the older wolf for his idiot attack he would get him a good one of the birds to eat.

The black wolf felt a bit foolish, not to long ago he got made at that spotted pup for scaring off his meal and now he had turned around and done the same thing to someone else. He would have to find her and appoligize for that. He had been acting like a brat after all.

*****

It wasnt that long later that Akando made his way back over to where he had left the other wolf carrying the largest bird that he could catch. It hadnt been to hard since the thing could barely fly. He had been able to catch it right out of the air. He also had a smaller one for himself.

He dropped them and pushed the larger one in front of Issac, "Here you go. I hope that makes up for chasing off what you were after." He said with a bit of a smile then he went over to his and started to eat.

Reivan
Isaac had been feeling very pleased with himself after the adolescent had left. 'What a fool', he thought with glee, 'Free meal!'
He'd rolled over onto his back to wait, the morning sun just touching his fur.

He jumped up when the other wolf returned and plonked the large bird infront of him. "Oh wow, i'm impressed!" he said briefly, before diving his nose into the carcass. He emerged licking his chops, grinning slightly as he noticed the size difference between the two birds, but saying nothing. He continued chewing on the meat, before at last sitting back, a leg and some other scraps still left on the bones. "Wow, i'm full! First time ever, i think. You're a great hunter. I'm Isaac, by the way."

Rayne Winner
"Issac. Its good to meet you, my name is Akando." He said lifting his head from his meal. He was feeling quite happy at the moment. Nothing better then getting praise for a good catch after all. He just had to keep it from going to his head. The last thing the wolf needed was an ego.

Reivan
"A pleasure to meet you too." he said with a bob of the head. "So where you staying? I haven't seen you around before.. Know anybody else around here?"

Rayne Winner
"Im staying here and there, mostly wherever I decide to fall asleep at night. And Ive met a few other back when I was a pup but havent gotten to see them in a while. And I met a spotted pup a few days back." He said smiling a bit.

Reivan
"I see, well if you ever wanted some shelter, i've got a nice little cave you could share for the night. All you'd have to do is bring me something tasty to eat. Which shouldn't be a problem for you, of course." he said with a slight smile. "Anyway, see how you feel. I smell rain on the air though.. don't you?" With that he turned and disappeared up the bank and into the shade of the woods.

Rayne Winner
Akando smiled a bit then decided that he would try to find bigger prey to give to Issac for letting him camp with him. Deer maybe? That would be a nice surprise. He gave a soft howl of excitement.

Rain. Perfect. Deer bedded down when it started to rain which would make them easier prey for him. He headed off in pursuit of one to give to Issac.

Sept 6th. Isaac = teh wtf
Youkochylde
Toboe licked at his sore paws, whimpering softly as he lay next to the river. Blasted ants... why'd they bite HIM? He wasn't doing anything but sitting there, and they just had to get all nasty about it. The next day or so was not going to be pleasant... his paws hurt badly and he could feel each bitten spot when he stood up. But still, he shifted around so that he could dangle his front paws in the water, resting his chin on his forelegs and watching the water course by.

Reivan
Isaac seemed to appear from nowhere, having spotted the adolescent from the dense undergrowth of the woods while.. wondering, he stepped out from the treeline and purposefully slid down the bank, backwards. He spun around to face Toboe and gave a rather fake smile. Apparently he very different from his usual jittery self around younger wolves.

Youkochylde
Toboe's ears pricked up as he heard the other approach, his eyes wide for a moment as he saw the older wolf moving towards him. Immediately, he fell onto his side, tail thumping against the ground as he let his tongue lol out in a grin. "Hello," he said softly. He hadn't seen this one before, and he seemed to be much more friendly than the other male from yesterday.

Reivan
Isaac cocked his head to one side and silently moved closer to Toboe. He almost loomed over the other wolf to observe his reaction, his own limbs shaking ever so slightly, but he hid his uncertainty with a daring front. His own eyes and nostrils were wide as he lifted his head, waiting.

Youkochylde
At the display, Toboe's tail immediately tucked up between his legs, his head falling to the side to expose his throat. He hated confrontation... and knew he stood little to no chance in one. He wasn't a fighter. He could hunt small game, he could think up things that he'd seen from humans... but he couldn't bring himself to be the cause of a dispute.

Reivan
Isaac's eyes narrowed again and he bent forward, his nose at Toboe's neck. Then he whispered to the wolf, "Did you think i'd actually hurt you?" he enquired with a tilt of his head, a slight grin on his face. He'd not met a wolf more submissive than himself before, and so this youngster intrigued him. He then started to back up, allowing the adolescent to relax and began to speak, "I d-..." But he couldn't seem to finish. The words were caught in his throat and his features contorted. After a second however, he'd blinked it away, and carried on.
"I d.. I.. Rah!" Again he stopped, but this time his head was thrown back mid-speech as if struck by some invisible force. At the same time his whole body twitched so that he was now laying on the ground, attempting to paw at the back of his head. His teeth clenched, eyes tight shut, he made no noise but for a faint caught growl in his throat.
However, almost as soon as it had come on, this behaviour subsided and he seemed relaxed again. He slid over onto his side and pulled himself from the floor with a quick gasp for air. He then looked Toboe in the face and gave no explaination but a simple, "Goodbye." before turning, dashing up the bank and back to the dens where he silently crawled into his cave.

Youkochylde
Toboe whined softly and started to scramble to his feet to follow the other wolf. He wasn't well either... like Lera hadn't been. Was it the same thing? He skidded to a stop as he saw Isaac disappear into a cave, then sat down and nursed at one sore paw. Maybe that other wolf would know... the one that had helped the female the day before. Something really strange was going on here, and Toboe didn't like it one little bit.

Sept 7th. Secrecy

Sayuri_Nitta
Silva stretched, rolling over in the long grass in the clearing. The sun was warming her and she felt a little sleep. She yawned, her tail idly flicking flies away.

Reivan
Isaac had just woken from a long nap, and he also stretched before moving stiffly towards the cave entrance and drawing in the fresh air in a long breath through his nose. Something tasty seemed to be on the winds. He crawled out from between the rocks to find that some food had been left for him. Surprised that it hadn't yet attracted scavengers, he pounced on the dead animal quickly ((can't remember what Akando actually caught, so it's just an animal X])) and dragged it out into the middle of the clearing to chew on lazily.

Sayuri_Nitta
Silva turned, scenting the air. She stood, shaking clinging grass seeds from her pelt and went over to Isaac, her nose twitching a little at the slightly decayed meat.
Hello Isaac, she said, looking at him with a degree of surprise. It seemed he too had grown since last she saw him.

Reivan
Isaac tilted his head so that he could watch the approaching Silva from the corner of his eye while still chewing on the meat. "Silva" he said simply along with a nod, voice slightly muffled since he had food in his mouth. His eyes widened for a moment as he took in her size difference from the last time he'd seen her.

Sayuri_Nitta
Dont forget to chew that properly,' she teased, sitting down near him, her tail wrapped around and over her paws.
How are you Isaac?

Reivan
"Do i look like a pup?" he said with a grin, watching her sit. He lay on his belly, holding what was left of the meat infront of him. If he wasn't so hungry, he'd have offered her some, but she smelt healthy enough. As if she'd eaten recently even.
At her question he stopped chewing and looked into her eyes for a second, before taking a shot at a casually upbeat tone and answering, "I'm fine. You?"

Sayuri_Nitta
I dont know - are you a pup? she showed her teeth in a grin.
I'm good. she blinked at him, tilting her head.
Are you really okay? I heard otherwise.

Reivan
He quirked an 'eyebrow' at her and absently thumped her side with his tail before tossing the bones of the carcass away with his teeth. "I'm glad to hear you're good." he said politely, but still grinning slightly. "I'm really okay, Silva. Who would say otherwise?" throwing a challenging glance her way.

Sayuri_Nitta
She had playfully snapped at his tail, her ears flickering as she caught the far off sounds of rustling movements. She however didnt want to get Toboe in trouble so she simply said;
I had heard you were in some sort of trouble. Though you seem well enough right now. she moved closer, dropping the pitch of her voice.
Are you still having the dreams?

Reivan
"Well, I can't imagine who'd say that.. I'm fine, i've been fine. Haven't even had to hunt thanks to some adolescent i met the other day." he said with another grin, rolling over onto his back. He then lowered his muzzle to his chest for a second, "Yeah, but what can you do." he stated shortly. They'd actually been getting worse, but for some reason he seemed to be playing everything down..

Sayuri_Nitta
Isaac if you want to talk to me you can,' she patted him with a paw.
'I wont judge you.

Reivan
"What, hey, i'm fine. Nothing to talk about. Been having the dreams for a long time now, nothing works, so i'm dealing with it. I'm fine.." he said cooly before returning Silva's pat with his own paw then turning his head to the sky.

Sayuri_Nitta
Thats two fines, she cocked an ear.
But if you dont want to talk - thats up to you, she scratched an itch on her neck and shook herself.
I just dont see how keeping it all inside is going to help you. she turned, sighting Soul who seemed to be stalking something. She huffed a little as she looked at Isaac again. Males...she thought, grumbling inside.

Reivan
"But i am fine though. Honestly." he smiled reassuringly, "What did this anonymous wolf tell you that's got you so concerned, eh?" he nosed her gently, "I'm flattered that you Are so concerned though, you know."

Sayuri_Nitta
She shifted a little, suddenly uncomfortable for some reason.
That you were in some distress, she shrugged a little.
And I cant be concerned?

Reivan
"Distress, huh? And who'd make something like that up then..?" he questioned with a smile on his muzzle. He already knew of course. But he wanted her to hear how stupid it sounded, trusting a young omega about something like this. "You can be concerned.. If something really was wrong, i know you'd try and help, which is something i'm glad for."

Sayuri_Nitta
I dont see why he would make it up, she said, almost snapping. She wasnt quite sure what it was about Isaac's reticence that was irritating her. Slightly mollified by his latter words, she licked him on the head, then went to lie down, stretching on the floor and yawning a little.

Reivan
"Alright, alright, well.. at any rate. I'm fine." He repeated with a wolfish laugh. Once she was on the floor he lay his own head lightly on her side and closed his eyes. An innocent plan to keep her from going anywhere while he took the opportunity to catch some sleep. She may have been slightly miffed, but her company was still good to keep the dreams at bay.

Sayuri_Nitta
She flicked an ear, looking along her nose at Isaac on her side. She didnt move however, and lowered her own head, resting on her paws and watching the wind dance with fallen leaves.

Reivan
Isaac blinked an eye open, he'd slept for much longer than he'd planned, but Silva was still here and still acting as his pillow. She too seemed to have drifted off. He lifted his head, careful not to wake her, and saw that her fur was a little soggy where he'd drooled. He gave a short but kindly smile towards her limp form and with a quick sideways glance he hopped to his feet. He then hobbled over to the treeline of the clearing and squeezed through the bushes, quickly disappearing into the undergrowth.

Sept 27th. Oddities

Isaac seems to have been hiding himself away in his cave for quite a while and when he finally emerges he meets Devvyl for the first time.

Reivan
Isaac's ears appeared from the entrance of his cave, swivelling madly. His head then lifted slightly and he sniffed the dry air with a twitch of his nose before moving out. His eyes seemed to be shut tight, brow furrowed, but he managed to tentatively pick his way between the rocks and out into the open where he slowly crouched low to the ground, then flopped over and rubbed the side of his muzzle against the grass, eyes still unopened.

Daimyn
Devvyl eyed the trembling rabbit carefully, noting its muscles tense, a telltale sign that it was getting ready to bolt. His own back legs tucked up beneath him, ready to spring him away after his prey.

Then he smelled the scent of another wolf -- no, two other wolves -- and lifted his head, distracted. The rabbit dashed off, and Devvyl whirled, watching it go... with that much of a head start, the rabbit would be down its hole before Devvyl got anywhere close to catching it, he knew.

With a sigh, he walked toward the wolven scent, giving a short bark to announce his arrival.

Reivan
By the time the bark met his ears, Isaac had half opened one eye. He gave a half-hearted grunt in return and started to shuffle backwards on his belly slightly before releasing a short sigh and flopping over onto his side again. He was now squinting out of both eyes uncomfortably, and blinking a lot.

Daimyn
Devvyl soon found a two-toned wolf lying on his side. His eyes were squinted shut, perhaps there was something wrong with them? He appeared a bit older than Devvyl, but it didn't exactly worry him

Are you alright?

Reivan
Isaac sensed the other wolf approach and half mumbled something brainlessly, "No. -Yes. It's too bright. -What? Who are you?" he demanded groggily before absently rolling over onto his other side, facing away from the deep red blur.

Daimyn
Devvyl canted his head at the strange wolf. I'm Devvyl, he told him, who are you? I havn't seen you around before.

Reivan
He slowly sat up then, with his head drooped, he seemed to concentrate on making a low grumbling noise in his throat for a minute before lifting his head, eyes narrow and dark, however he smiled shortly. "Devvyl. Devvyl.." He repeated, rolling the name lazily on his tongue. "Interesting. I am.. Isaac." he stated, and then repeated his own name in the same way. "Isaac.. No, i haven't seen any one in a while." he said simply.

Daimyn
Devvyl arranged himself into a sitting position, eyeing this oddity of a wolf. He repeated each name twice, for why, the crimson male didn't know. He was suddenly surprised to note a smile on Isaac's features, and returned the smile. So you live here as well? he asked presently.

Reivan
Since his previous smile had been just a brief gesture of fake kindness, he was amused by the return smile from the other wolf, and so he himself again smiled, a wider wolfish grin this time, the tips of his canines just showing. "I live here, yes. Over there in fact." and he gestured with a twitch of his head towards the cave behind him, the narrow entrance just visible between the boulders. "And where, may i ask, do you live.. Devvyl?" he asked somewhat politely.

Daimyn
Devvyl turned his head to look back in the direction he'd come. Not too far from here, he told Isaac. In a den I dug. He kept his answer short; he sensed that Isaac was just making small talk.

Reivan
"Oh that's good." he said rather absently, but although he didn't even seem to hear what was said, he actually made sure he retained the given information for possible future use.
"I will be going now. I.. need to find.. .... -one.. ...right ..." He'd actually already lifted himself from the ground and started walking off before he'd finished talking so that the end of his explanation was conveniently muffled by the rustling of the bushes parting as he made his way unstealthily through the undergrowth.

Oct 3rd. Testing Boundries

Notoka and Silva are talking Packs and Pups. Notoka is getting antsy about the other males in the area when Isaac walks in as if on cue.

Reivan
Isaac was lingering somewhere close by, trying to decide whether to approach the small group or not. He sat in the shadows of a tall tree, watching them closely through the leaves for a little while, before almost bouncing to his feet, stopping dead, and then collapsing back down on his haunches again. He took a deep breath and tilted his head, content just watching for the time being.

Sayuri_Nitta
She tugged his ear again;
I know, she soothed.
I'm content to wait... she turned at a little crashing sound, and scented the air. That was a familiar scent, and she licked Notoka before heading over to Isaac.
Isaac?

Reivan
Isaac jumped up again and trotted out from the bushes, greeting Silva cheerily. "Oh hello, i didn't see you there. I was just passing.." his eyes darted over to Notoka briefly before he took another deep breath, his nose close to Silva's fur then nudged her side gently. "Did i interupt something..?" he asked.

((I only have a few more minutes or so.. :X ))

Sayuri_Nitta
She shook her head, nudging him back.
No its fine - I can come say hello to my friend. she smiled.
How are you?

(( tis ok =))

Reivan
He stood eyeing Notoka in the background for a moment before looking to Silva again. "I'm..", he stopped himself before letting the word 'fine' automatically slip out "..Great." he said, grinning lazily. "But i can't stay long.. Like i said, i was passing." he smiled calmly before leaning forward and licking her tenderly on the nose. He moved back again then said "Well... I'll see you around i suppose. Don't stray too far. Don't let him lead you too far." he said looking her in the eye, before turning and loping off back through the bushes.

(( Yarr, gotta go domokun ))

((brief lapse in time and space))

Sayuri_Nitta
Silva stretched, shaking leaves from her coat. She sniffed the air, trying to shake the odd thoughts that had popped in there after her brief last encounter with Isaac. Notoka was near, and Lera too.She padded away from where she had been resting outside their den and almost ran into Notoka.

Oct 4th. Resorts

Notoka, Silva and Lera set off in search of the the Seer from Notoka and Isaac's old pack that evening and Isaac wakes to find them gone.

Reivan
Isaac stretched lazily as he left his cave in silence. The sun hadn't yet risen, but he hadn't been able to sleep for long. Something was going on.. He intended to make his way over to the river for a drink, but his path happened to take him through the area in which he had met Silva and Notoka the previous day. As he stepped out from the wooded area surrounding the small clearing, each blade of grass whispered as his paws brushed past them. Eyes wide, he slowed his steps until he'd ground to a halt right where Notoka had been sitting. Words flashed through his mind.

Have to find the old Seer ... We leave now ..

He could feel the pain that had been intruding on Lera, and the tension between her and Silva, but he felt no sympathy for them. They had left together, already. All three of them. And they were going to speak to her.
Isaac stood there a moment, fear and anger rising in his throat before he spoke in a frustrated growl, "Not YET."
He quickly glanced around him. A thought had struck him there, and he stood in silence with his eyes fixed on the woods ahead of him, his head tilting slowly as the details formed..

((:OO ninja ))

Reivan
Isaac had made his mind up. He'd also convinced himself that had no choice in the matter and that they were the ones to blame if they didn't like the outcome. He had to keep emotion out of his.

Plans formed in his mind as he'd set off from the area and continued on towards the river.
Keep clear, Mustn't see me, hear me, smell me.. Sense me. They'll get to her before i do, but if she's kept her promise.. That's not a problem. She will learn too much though... Hm.. Ah.. They need sleep. So does she. Keep to the river, keep to the river.
"Mm.. My friend.." he hissed as he approached the water, stopping to make sure there was no one else around. He continued forward, lapped at the water briefly then stepped into the shallow froth near the bank. He took a moment to adjust to the morning cold before turning and heading off along the stream in the rough direction that Notoka had travelled that night, ignoring how wet his legs were getting.

Reivan
Isaac focused on the journey ahead. Although the odds were against him, he kept his mind calm as he mulled over it all.
They had a headstart, exactly how much, he couldn't tell; They were fitter than him and so probably faster on a long trip like this; and he was taking the long route by following the river. He had to cover his tracks though, keep clean, scent free, invisible. If all went well, they'd never know he'd left the den site.

At least he knew his way, he thought as he splashed through the water. Notoka, on the other hand, was leading them on only a fine memory, so Isaac could only guess which route they'd be taking. That was the main point. The old Seer's small den was hard to find, she'd made sure of that. But Isaac had visited her often while he was still with his pack, and then quite a few times after he'd grown to adulthood. She had always been fond of him, and was so pleased to see him when he turned up out of the blue, fearful but briming with Seer potential. She'd grown to trust him completely since then..

He'd not seen her for a while recently though, he'd been careful. She'd see right though him as soon as he approached. Which is what Lera could learn to do if she spoke to the Seer. He told himself again how he had no choice.
