ALRIGHT, so I just finished playing Ar Tonelico II - Melody of Metafalica... AND THE ENDING WAS AMAAAAZING. I loooved the cutscenes and the ending scenes and EVERYTHING~ <3 Gosh, it was amazing... I'm still on an AT high xD I'm just sad that I didn't finish and complete Jacqli's Cosmosphere like I wanted to... instead, I got to the end of Luca's. In my opinion, it's a little... dull. It's kind of predictable to know that they started as a 'couple', and now they're ending as a couple. It would've been more dramatic to have Croix bond with Jacqli and devote himself to her, and then have her leave to Sol Ciel~ <3 Well... no, it's just an excuse xD I just love Jacqli~ SPEAKING OF WHICH, what do you guys think about that whole Jacqli/Mir thing? : ) I think it's awesome~ I mean, the ENDING BOSS of the first game joining your party in the second one? Epic~ Haha, I laughed too when Jacqli hacked into Raki and she had a conversation with Shurelia. Jacqli and Shurelia would make a cute couple :3 Who do you think's cuter, Spica x Jacqli, or Jacqli x Shurelia? I love both @__@

The only thing I didn't like about the ending were the bosses. Tooooo eaaaasy... Ryuju was a major piece of cake, and Nenesha x Infel was terribly, dissapointingly easy. I mean, in neither bosses did I get the chance to pull off a Synchronity Chain, not because I suck at playing, but because I was dealing so much damage with my Vanguards, that I finished the battle before they could sync ><;; I had intended to use 'Phantasmagoria' on Nenesha x Infel, just cause it'd make the ending THAT much more epic, but I guess not ><;; I'm still satisfied though :3

But while I was playing through the game, I was surprised at how much Yuri is involved in AT II @__@ I mean, it's really OBVIOUS too xD No attempt is made at hiding~ First of all, Skycat is completely in love with Luca and I think it's so cute~ I love Skycat, she's a cool kind of crazy xD Then there's the other Dive Therapist in red,the one that works under Mrs. Lahr [forgot her name] who admits to have fallen in love with Luca... There's the entire I.P.D. Fan Club that's head over heels over Cloche, Cloche and Luca themselves [although they're sisters, but hey, who cares, we love that stuff xD], Jacqli and Spica seem to have a sort of fling together, as well as Jacqli and Shurelia, Nenesha and Infel seem to act like a couple, and so on and so forth~ There's more romance scenes involving two girls, then a boy and girl~ I have NOTHING against it, but I just find it... interesting : D I know a lot of you are thinking 'Maybe they're just joking/teasing/really good friends' and yes, I'd understand that the first two or three times, but when it's during the whole course of the game, it starts getting fishy xDD

Anywho, I just felt like giving a little rant there, cause I'm so proud and happy to have finished AT II : ) Now I'll just state some things I like, or whatever, before logging off, going to bed, and listening to the Hymmnos Concert CD's of AT I and AT II XD

I love all the reyvateils but it's no secret sho's my fav redface Shurelia is beauty in and out for me and it's Shurelia X Jacqli all the way. I like them in their reversed outfits, Jacqli in Shurelia's clothes and Shurelia in Jacqli's. I just like the light and dark relationships. If I had to rant about one reyvateil being my least favorite it's Luca. She's so vindictive and a crybaby. In my opinion Cloche was through much worse and she didn't go around toying with people's emotions or betraying the group. She has her good qualities though.
Out of all the Goddesses' standard outfits Shurelia's is the best. On that note.. I have a pic of Frelia's linkage ninja and it's... lame xd it's like a mix of Shurelia and Tilia's linkages. As for the up coming game I really think I'll fall for Tilia or Finnel. Tilia first because I'm a Goddess chaser whee As for Cocona is she going back to Croix?... btw that was weird sitting through her ending in AT2 redface Oh Croix you ***** xd

I know! lol I'm not even a fan of Luca's hymns... SOL=FAGE *shudder* Viena was okay but Cloche's METHOD_METAFALICA totally puts EXEC_METAFALICA to shame whee

I have cross edge but I sucked at that game gonk I stopped playing at some futuristic world. Because I just couldn't make strong enough combos sweatdrop

So much fan-girlism xD I LOVE IT.

I have to say, I hated Luca too < __ < I mean, she just sounds like she's exaggerating ONE problem, over and over again. She 'pushed herself away' from people and 'neglected people', but to be honest, she's not all that bad < < I find she overreacts a lot of her minor negatives to make herself feel like a bad guy, in order to look somewhat more pitiful to the people around her. Which makes her kind of pathetic < < But Luca is just so... average. Average sums her up pretty well, actually.

Like I said, JACQLI ALL THE WAY. But it's a close tie between Jacqli and Misha. I loooove Misha... Everything about her is so damn perfect. And once again, in AT I, I completed Aurica's Cosmosphere first, blocking my access to having a deeper relationship with Misha. I hate my life... I thought it was so EVIL of them to just go off, Lyner and Aurica, and then just make Misha sing the Chronicle Key alone < _< I was like, "HELL NO." It's so wroooong... I'd gladly make Luca sing it instead, for however long she has to live XDD Ooh, harsh, but who cares xD

I AGREE WITH YOU, REYVATEIL_SHURELIA. Shurelia's Linkage armor is the best. It's freakin' AWESOME. I loved the complexity behind it's design, and as most of you know [well, Halli Neko-chan knows] I have a SUPER HUGE THING for the footwear in all Ar Tonelico's. By far, Shurelia's Linkage has the best boots EVER. I also loved Luca's Venus Torial suit, as well as Jacqli's standard~ <3 Damn, they all have some awesome, complex designs : D

I haven't played Cross Edge OR read any spoilers about AT III, so gomen, but please don't leak anything out ><;; HOWEVER, I do, already, love Finnel. Something about her tells me I'm going to adore her xD I've only listened to a few AT III songs and EXEC_ViiBaCi_MjiiRa/. and EXEC_FLIP_ARPHAGE/. take the cake for me~

Hummm... You didn't like Sol=Fage? T__T I thought it was pretty kickass~ Although, it's nothing compared to EXEC_SPHILIA/. ... has to be one of my fav's. The raw emotion and lyrics are so intense and deep... I mean, the meaning for the song is just to 'connect with the Infel Pira' [or was it the Heart of Gaea?] but Jacqli takes it to a whole new level. Her singing trancends it's simply duties and really connects, heart to heart, with the object she's singing to. When you know her background story, it just makes it that much more intense and deep~ <3

ANYWAYS, that's it for now xD

Summed up why I hated Luca right there, there never was a true admittance of her feeling for Croix or at least a gesture to show it besides laying on each others laps.... hoh boy that satisfies my need for mushy love scenes stare I really loved her outfits but as a person not so much sweatdrop

A brief rundown of my AT fanboy beginnings:

Back then, I had no internet, so I usually rented games at my local Videotron to keep me busy. I think I'd just finished playing Atelier Iris the second, and I was looking for a good game to play, when something new struck my eye: Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia. I looked at the back, interested in the same thing you were, 'Song Magic'. I thought, 'Wow, that's so completely original... I wonder what you do to get it...' So I grabbed it, payed a hefty 8 bucks to rent it [it's so much ><;;] and went back home to play it. I put the disc in, and as soon as I heard the choir beginning to sing, and the logo beginning to appear on the screen, I WAS MESMERIZED. One week of non-stop playing; I woke up two hours early on school days to play before going to school, and neglected homework to play after school xD I chose Aurica's path though, unknowingly, and I agree, leaving Misha in the Crescent Chronicle was just inhumane =__= I mean, we beat Mir, no? Viruses should be a little on the slow side now < _ <;; No matter the ending, Misha should've been let free T__T I loved Shurelia's Linkage at first sight, and seeing her standard made me want to cuddle her o///o I didn't know she'd be so adorable~ <3 I was expecting a mature woman~

AT II: Of course, a few weeks or months after I play AT I, to my surprise, I went to rent another game yet again, only to find AR TONELICO II: MELODY OF METAFALICA~ <3 So I grab it, and the opening video has me wide eyed, jaw dropped and squealing. It took me MONTHS to finish AT II, just cause the renting periods were of 3 days each, and I no longer had the time to rent them, but I finished it a couple days ago. Like I said, dissapointed with the weak boss fights, but the ending was awesome~ <3 I, obviously, had no time in either game to do a second runthrough to get to the Reyvateil's I loved most [Misha + Jacqli], but I got to see the endings, so it's all good : )

I'm not too sure about AT III~ I haven't read anything about it yet, nor have I read up about it [I don't wanna spoil it for little moi ><;;], but something about it puts me off. I think it's the cutsey-ness o__o;; I listened to a few of the hymns and the hyper pop/techno of it all is a big turn off ><;; I also HATE that pink girl's outfit... makes her look fat < _ <;; [no offense to fat people] She reminds me of a Pippen, but human format =__=;; Finnel does look cool though : ) I haven't looked into the costumes or song magic yet, but she looks promising. There's a huge cast of Reyvateils though, which makes me very excited~ <3 I can't wait to actually play it XDD

@Halli Neko-chan: Totally agree with your point on Luca. I mean, she just blabs on and on about the same thing over and over again,a sking for pity and all that, but she's really just pathetic =__= I hate her. She's an attention whore. And the lay in my lap thing made me want to punch her < _ < ... -BIG SIGH- Jacqli/Cloche's endings would've been soooo much better T__T

I think I might lean more toward Saki. EXEC_FLIP_ARPHAGE/. is totally amazing, and I just wanted to jump up and dance and shout "Kyaaaaa!" when I heard EXEC_EP=NOVA/. LOL especially since it's about cats! x3 I love kitties but I'm sure you could already tell that about my name (Neko). So I think I will be going for Saki.

And don't worry too much about me spoiling anything for ya, Sean. I can't, cuz I can't understand a word of Japanese, so I can't even spoil it for myself (though I desperately want to).
