 AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM Name: Lamonte Petite
Nicknames: The petite prince (spoiler: no one actually calls him this)
Gender: Male
Age: 14 (considering 13). Either way, young
Faction/Race: Reaper - Rain mage
Personality: Lamonte is an all around worthless, kind-hearted (Jack forbid...), crybaby of a reaper. Though he honestly puts his all into his attempts at being scary, his success rate is so low he'd rather not say. Even on the rare occasion that he does manage to scare anything of reasonable intelligence, his sickeningly warm heartedness oft has him apologising afterwards for it (the thought of it!). Said kindness makes him a prime target for bullying, generally ending with him attempting to cover up his plummeting mood with heated glares. Though his watery eyes tend to give him away.
Take it too far, though, and you're likely to find yourself facing down Meir. And where Lamonte is useless, Meir is anything but. If one were to think of a familiar and their summoner in master and servant terms, it's obvious which is which in the case of these two.
It's rather a mystery why such a high-class familiar would attach its self to a Reaper as worthless as Lamonte. When asked about this Meirs only response is a crackling 'kekeke' laugh.
Under Meirs guidance (of sorts), Lamonte studiously works towards improving. However theory and putting things into practice are two different things, and Lamontes spectacular failings show through gloriously in every attempt he makes. Every Now and then he surprises even himself, though, his strength fluctuating between strong and worthless depending on the situation he's in. He has recognizable potential, if one were to bother looking closely. Though it's highly questionable if he'll ever reach it...
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?: After his summoning, Meir informed Lamonte he refused to be such a useless boys familiar. Though rather than finding himself familiarless - as everyone believed he would - he instead found himself packed up and at the gates of Amityville Academy, Meir 'kekeke'ing in time with Lamontes pounding heart.
FEAR: Rain - That's right, rain. Unlike most mages with an impressive repertoire of various elemental magic, Lamonte is only able to use rain based elements. Thunderless, rolling black clouds, hail, rain... Any attempts at other elements either do nothing or blow up spectacularly back at him. Where he lacks in variety, however, he makes up for in sheer force. With his extraordinarily high FEAR reserves, Lamonte could potentially make it rain non-stop for weeks on end. Potentially. However it seems the only one aware of said potential is Meir.
This astonishing amount of FEAR is 'fed' to Meir who, depending on the amount fed, creates anywhere from a light drizzle to, potentially, devastating hail. If Meir is ever knocked out, or somehow taken out of play, Lamonte is completely without use of his FEAR abilities. In this case he may resort to crying. In general, Lamonte himself ends up his greatest weakness.
Natural ability: Elemental Summon - Able to create an elemental creature that does his bidding, in this case Meir.

I'm gonna be super specific just in case anything in the ref is confusing. 'Cause he's kinda a ******** of layers. * A*
The shirts:
- He wears a purple-grey undershirt, it's soft and kinda frilly.
- Over that he has a black vest with blue trim. The vest has four buttons parallel to each other and are connected with chains.
- Over the vest is a jacket with purple-grey trim. The bottom of the coat is trimmed with white fur.
- Finally layering over that is a black bolero trimmed in blue. The sleeves end just below the crick of his elbow, and have splits on the outer side that let the frilly undershirt loose.
The bottoms:
- He has black, poofy shorts. These have a line of purple-grey ribbon running down the outer side, ending in dangling bows.
- Under these he wears white leggings. These are leggings, not pants. So yeah, skin tight.
- The outfit is paired with thick-soled boots that end below his knee. The laces are blue.
Accessories:
- He wears a cravat, in similar style to the purple-grey undershirt. His cravat pin is the school skull.
- He also wears a pair of black gloves that have a small slit down the front of them.
The Familiar:
- His familiar is based off a teru teru bozu
- It's eyes are as follows: Purple with a ring of blue and inverted eye whites.
- Has a thick fabric bow around it's "neck". It ends in two large-ish blue beads.
- He's size accurate in rerf. So yeah, he's not exactly small.

Lamonte and Nadia (My quest Reaper.) must meet sometime when we get them. Nadia will so totally be like a big sister to Lamonte, and help him get scarier and protect him from bullies. (Besides - Fred + Meir = BFF <3)

This guy is totally adorable! His costume design reminds me of CLAMP's work XD And his personality is really entertaining and... well adorable. I'd love to see more information on his natural ability to summon an elemental monster! (I like that you hint at it probably NOT following his orders XD )

In this case, Meir is his elemental summon (though since Lamontes FEAR is able to support Meir being perma summoned he's treated and refered to as a familiar). He may be able to summon and support more considering his FEAR reserves, but it'll never cross his mind to do so (one tyrant is enough tyvm) and it's doubtful Meir would be very accommodating to sharing.

I love Lamonte's design <3 It's super cute!
I guess my crit is that I want to know more about Lamonte himself. You say a lot about his relationship with his familiar and that he's a bit worthless on his own, but what does Lamonte like to do, how does he feel about different things, etc.?
