Ishira
-It's mid-morn and I have been spending my time dodging preparing to leave my tribe. Father had given me word that the city of reyvateils above requested a vanguard for one of their own. As long as the old man is still healthy and kicking I don't need to be here to help him with his High Priest responsibilities, he has advisers for that. So he had decided what better time to hone my skills? I have mixed feelings about leaving my friends here to explore the world, and mixed feelings about being a vanguard for a reyvateil... I have heard the reyvateils from Pallieu can be rather cold. -But the time for stalling has passed. I am to meet the reyvateil at Pallieu by this evening. Armed with a satchel, my staff and Yue, a spirit familiar of my family that father saw fit to give to me as a means of extra protection. I had decided not to say goodbye to my friends to avoid the sadness, hopefully Miko will understand...

Miko~
The young halfling sighed. It had been three weeks since she'd sent for her older twin, informing her of their uncle's death and how much she was needed back home. Apparently, Mana didn't feel the need to return, even just for a visit. Well, when she'd left, she had been pretty angry... But still, Miko was upset that her twin couldn't even show up to show her support. She'd thought of leaving just to drag Mana's butt back home."It's quite all right, Miko," her aunt said. "Don't fret over the small things. After how you both were treated by us at times, I'm surprised that you didn't leave as well. I can never apologize enough to the both of you," the Teru woman added. "It's not right to hold grudges over the past," Mana replied. "And it's childish to do so. Mana needs to grow up and get over it! You need her... and I need her here. I miss my sister so much.""Miko, I've been thinking. My son just left on a training trip. Teru always leave on training trips when they come of age, so Mana's leaving wasn't unexpected. So, I think it's best for you if you go on a training trip. It's good for all Teru to do so." "But you've said it yourself! I'm nothing but a halfling! So it's not required for someone who isn't pure-blooded like I am! And that's why I've decided to stay, and help you. It's not as if the Teru Tribe were counting on me, anyway," Miko mumbled."Child, that is silly talk. Of course the Teru Tribe counts on you. They rely on every single being who carries the blood of the Teru to live on. That is how a family survives, is it not?" "I can't just leave you alone right now to grieve, Aunt. That would be too cruel.""Miko, answer me. Do you want to stay here forever?" The woman stared long and hard at Miko. "Don't you envy your sister, who has been able to see the world? You wished that you could go along with her, but you sacrificed that chance to take care of the both of us. You want to be with your sister again, don't you? I'm afraid that Mana will not come back for my sake, but I'm certain that she will come back for you. Which is why, if you were to leave here, your sister would come to you in an instant." "Will you be all right?" Miko finally asked. She wanted to see the rest of the world, but thought that if her Aunt needed help, she would have to stay."Of course I will. All I ask is you send word to me about how you both are doing. I've been worried about your sister in these past few months. I recieved word from my son that he spotted her in Daila months ago, but she's never once contacted us, and so I'm concerned." "All right then, if you say that you would like me to go, then I will," Miko said. "I'm going to go into the city of Ce Palym to gather some supplies, and then I'll be on my way." And so she left their house and went to the city. They lived on the outskirts of it, so it didn't take Miko long to reach the Teru city. As she came in, she saw Ishira, and she noted with surprise that he seemed to be going on a trip as well. She hurried over to her friend. Probably the only Teru near her age that she could consider a friend. "Ishira? You're leaving?" She glanced down at her own imcomplete bag of supplies for a moment before looking back up at Ishira.

Mana~

It was troublesome to climb the tower once again. But it was at her sister's request, so Mana figured that she would do it. But not before stopping at a local tavern for some drinks every couple of cities. Mana figured she needed to prepare for visiting her family in anyway she could. Which meant that she could probably get by with having a few drinks to relax her mind. She knew that she would probably lose her temper with her aunt, and possibly her twin otherwise. It wouldn't have bothered Mana to give her aunt a piece of her mind, but she would never forgive anyone who hurt her twin sister, especially herself. And so she continued up the treacherous road until she spied a tavern. "Well, it's good to rest after travelling uphill so far like this..." She reasoned. "It'll be good to spend the night in here. If I can have a few drinks, get a good meal, and have a good night's sleep, then I should be good to go for a few more days. Maybe I can even make some money performing." She patted the tiny recorder in her pocket. She thought back to when she and her sister played duets together. She on the recorder and her sister with the ocarina. "Ahh... good times. Well, Sis, I'm coming up to see you and the witch soon enough, eh?" She grinned a little and knocked on the tavern door.

Ishira
-Feeling a little guilty about leaving without saying goodbye Ishira put his hands behind his head and looked to the side. He responded with a nervous chuckle.
"Yeah.. Sorry 'bout not tellin ya. I just didn't want the sad story kinda time, ya know? Figured you had enough of that..." Ishira peeked with one open eye at Miko's bag. "You look like you're heading out too? It'll do ya some good, and if you get homesick you can always come back." Ishira flashed Miko a huge grin while scratching the back of his head.
-Yue peaked his head out of Ishira's satchel and squeaked a protest of being stored in the bag, "Nyuuu~"
"Oh quiet down will ya!" Ishira attempted the beast back into his satchel but Yue squeezed through his grip and flew up to Ishira's head and nested in his hair. "You little vermin, gah!" Ishira tugged at the protesting Yue who reached out for the soft locks of hair and placed him on his shoulder. "That's as close as your allowed, got it?" Yue pawed at the soft fabric of Ishira's shirt and compromised happily, "Nyu, nyu!" Ishira put a hand to his face, "This is gonna be a long trip... Well Miko I need to get going I need to be in Pallieu by sundown. No worries though, maybe we'll see each other out there some day right?" Ishira flashed another one of his trademark grins.

Miko~
"Oh, of course. Especially since we'll both be returning here someday, right?" Miko waved him off. "Don't you worry, I'm certain we'll meet again. I'm off to find my slacker for a sister and drag her back here! Then we can all see each other once again. I will tell Mana hello for you once I see her!" She flashed him a smile back. "Good luck on your journey, my friend! And please, take care of yourself!" She wasn't going to cry, because somehow, she had a stange feeling that they would meet again very soon. Almost like she could sense that their paths were going to become entwined. She shook her head. That's a silly thought. Maybe it just isn't real to me yet that we're parting ways. She reasoned to herself. Yes, that has to be it. She walked into a shop and purchased the necessary items and accessories she felt that she would need. She didn't want to linger there too much longer however, especially since the shopkeeper was glaring at her. Some things never change, she sighed inwardly. It was a reminder that she was still only half-Teru, and for as long as she lived, she would most-likely be looked down upon for not having full Teru blood.
By the time Miko was ready, it was getting into the afternoon, and she realized that she should be heading out. Having already said her good-byes to her aunt, she skipped going back home and started on the long trek down the tower.

Ishira - "Yeah, we'll all meet up one day, guaranteed!" Ishira smiled as he headed out, the thought eased him, as if it were really to be true and he grinned as he set out to follow the northern trail waving goodbye to Miko, a long and perilous journey.
-By the time Ishira made it to the Frozen Eye it was late afternoon. Yue was making it known that he was hungry, "Nyuuyuuu..." he moaned.
"Don't worry buddy, we are almost there, once we cross the Frozen eye, it's dinner time for us!" Ishira jested as he approached the pure energy core of the Frozen Eye. He paused to collect his thoughts and concentration. With a deep breath he closed his eyes and recited the ancient spell, as he spoke a light began to shine bright beneath his shirt from his back; the ancient text of the spell tattooed on his back at birth. He stretched his arms out wide as he and Yue dissolved into pure energy and they melded into the frozen eye. Surprisingly to Ishira, Yue was very calm. Within moments they were on the other side of the Frozen Eye.
-"Alright, little guy, a little farther and we are in Pallieu!" Yue squeaked in joy as they left the inner parts of the tower of Ar_Tonelico to set foot in Pallieu, the city of Reyvateils.
-Bright lights and inviting smells of food eased the travelers to the unfamiliar streets. First and foremost Ishira fed himself and Yue at a friendly foodstand.
"Boy, you sure do eat a lot..." Ishira laughed heartily. "Ok... the rendezvous point is the Pepen Shop... what on earth is a Pepen shop?" Ishira groaned as he scanned the city for a sign of that nature. Finally a huge stuffed animal shop came into view. Stuffed Pepen and other animals littered the windows for advertisement, "I guess a girl would choose to met here..." Ishira noted as Yue felt threatened by the stuffed animals' cuteness and let out a snort and turned up his nose.
"C'mon little guy, these toys got nothin on you," Ishira laughed as he waited by the door. As time passed and the sun had set long ago he feared that the Reyvateil would not show. He was about to give up and head to an inn to try tomorrow but he felt he should stay. Not many people were passing by he figured he would wait just a little longer.

Rhaplanca

-It was nightfall as Rhaplanca dodged several pedestrians, weaving in and out of unfamiliar faces quickly with a destination in mind. "I haven't been down here enough, I thought I could find the largest shop easily enough, ugh!" Her own pride would not allow her to ask for directions, "C'mon where is it?" At last the huge building of the Pepen Shop came into view, "About time, Rhaplanca" She said to herself. Her steps slowed as she scanned the people loitering outside the shop. Her own shyness prevented her to just ask aloud if anyone has seen a Teru boy. That would probably embarass him... she thought as she sighed. "Ok, you can do this. Ugh, no one here has horns or a tail... I was told Teru have horns and a tail..." A passerby gave Rhaplanca a strange look at her statement so she reverted her gaze to the ground and hastened her step. Not watching where she was going she ran into a young man from behind and she was knocked back onto the ground. She tried to collect herself and brush herself off while sitting up.
"I- I am so sorry, I am lost you see. I'm supposed to meet someone here..." Rhaplanca looked around helplessly, "I think I am too late."

Ishira

Ishira was ready to give up for the night, he turned away from the Pepen Shop and headed toward an inn he saw earlier that evening. As he began into his stride someone bump into him from behind with what seemed to be brutish force. Ishira staggered forward and was slightly angered by the gesture... that is until he heard a kind female voice before he even turned around. Once he had turned around he didn't see anyone close enough that could have been responsible. This puzzled him for a moment until he glanced down to see a very pretty girl dusting off her clothes. Ishira did not even hear the words coming out of her mouth at this point. He instinctively reached down and helped her up. The girl seemed lost and it took him a moment to recollect what the girl was saying. "You're lost? Me too, I was supposed to meet someone here but it's much later than the deadline that was set, I think I was late," he chuckled as he helped the girl to her feet, "Can you describe the person that you were looking for? Maybe I can help." Ishira grinned. Yue had hid behind Ishira from the moment of impact and just now gained the confidence to peek up over his shoulder with one raised ear.

Rhaplanca

Rhaplanca stood with the help of the stranger she bumped into.
"I'm glad you can understand my predicament. It must be really hard to meet up with someone in Pallieu, especially at such a popular place, the crowd is unbelievable."
She looked around cautiously, "Well, I'm not sure what he looks like, but I was told he would have horns and a tail," Rhaplanca looked at the stranger and whispered, "you know, a Teru."

Hikari~

The young girl was seated in the corner of the tavern when she noticed one of the maids rush over to open the door for a patron. She watched warily as the dark-skinned traveller strode in. She looked away when she realized that the other girl was looking in her direction. She stared down at an empty glass in front of her. Oh, no... what should I do, now? I have no money, and no way to earn money. I have no survival skills. It was stupid to run away like that... but what other choice did I have? Hikari's stomach growled. She had been there for hours, but couldn't afford anything to eat. As a matter of fact, since her escape a few days ago, the only thing she'd had was some bread offered to her in a city back. She felt miserable, and figured she probably looked it, too.
