Anyone played it yet? Many people are complaining about it, but personally it looks amazing to me. I've yet to play it though...

I cant wait to play it either. My friend is getting it for his birthday, so I'm making it a personal note to flirt with him a bit so I can come over and play. I know I should feel bad about taking advantage of him liking me, but still, I wanna play!!!!

I know it looks so damn amazing, but I'll have to wait a few months until I get it :/
Meanwhile I can finish the Prime series. I'm ashamed to say I haven't beaten Prime 1 yet.

I can't really tell if I'm super excited to play it or if I'm unhappy with it. It seems like such a big shift from the regular gameplay I've come to enjoy, but it looks freaking amazing! At the same time, it feels like it's just a generic Team Ninja(?) game with a Metroid casing over it. I can't decide.
And I know how you feel about the Prime series. I made it to the final boss in the first one, but couldn't beat him. I made it half way through Prime 2, then a friend "borrowed" my copy and never gave it back. And I haven't even gotten to play Prime 3 yet.

Saw the trailer for it just now. Gotta say, only half paying attention, I thought it was real people. Then I recognized the blue suit and ponytail.
Having not really played any other Metroid games (had Prime 2 for GC, but my brother sold it, claiming I wouldn't have liked it), I still want to try this one.

I had the remake of the original for the GBA and Metroid Prime Hunters for the DS and both were amazing.
