I hadn't even heard of this, then again I don't pay much attention to news type stuff unless someone shoves it in my face

Hunting wolves has always been a "sport" as have many other types - bear, elk, deer, foxes, moose, whales, the list goes on. The fact that Obama has at least kept it down to two states is better than before. George W. Bush allowed for more cruel methods of killing of wolves and other canids in a larger area. Most were in national parks - such as Yellowstone - and some methods allowed invovled smaller bombs and burning forests (if my sources are correct).
So yes, the fact that wolves are still being hunted, when they're still trying to regain their numbers to balance the ecosystems they live in, is a problem - it could be worse.

I think the whole thing is horrible! Wolves are underpopulated as it is.
The reason why some people shoot wolves is because they think that they are vicious animals that would kill them if they got a chance. Have people forgotten that the dogs that we love came from different species of wolves? Have they also forgotten that wolves only attack when they are threatened? I know that some wolves can get into farmer's fields or their life stocks, but their food is being killed by HUNTERS and so they are only getting food that we technically taken away from them.
I'm sorry to go off venting like that, but wolves are precious to me and I have strong opinions when it comes to them.

is anyone even cating about these animal? i did no open a huild to hold conrests or role plays, i did it to help open ppls eyes, so please i ask you to at least check out the last web link on the first post

never liked Obama in the first place.
God this insanity has to stop. So many precious animals are going extinct. and are endangered. It's sad and terrible.
