Hello, I am Saisho Silvalin, more frequently known as, "Sai" and as some of you know my real name is TJ Harper.
I am a crew member of our great "pokemon" guild.
Today, I had an idea, What if we were more?
More then just a Pokemon guild on Gaia?
More then just a group of pokemon enthusiasts?
I'm sure many of our members have skills beyond that of the Pokemon world and so after discussion with our leader, xLive Freex,
It's been decided, Pokemon will always be our main focus, but outside of the pokemon world:
Lets say in the world of Call of Duty, You can choose to represent YOUR PWF!
In the computerized world of STEAM and other Computer based Online multiplayer, You can represent YOUR PWF!
PS3? Of Course!
Xbox? Obviously!
PC/Mac? Great!
You are not obligated to represent your guild anywhere but the pokemon world, But think of the unity, the friendships, the memories we've made because of pokemon, if we expand we could make so many more.
And so, This Thread is like and Announcement, for those who have and want to represent the PWF multiplatform and multigame.

We should have a website for those who don't want to make a Gaia account just to be a part of this guild. And I know some awesome MMORPG's that I can advertise on.

Be polite.
Be efficient.  As cool as it would be to meet some other Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 fans out there, I say no. We're the Pokemon Wi-Fi Federation, not the General Gaming Federation.
I like this place as Pokemon only. With our sorta small community of familiar faces, with the occasional new member every now and then, we're like a big family. Or at least, I see it like that. If we expand to other games like Call of Duty, Team Fortress 2, Halo, Starcraft, and many more, there'll be so many people here that it would not feel the same.
Besides, we open our doors to other games, we open our doors to all the asshats who play Call of Duty, all the trolls who spam memes like "Can't let you do that Starfox!" and "Need a dispenser here!" (Only I can do that last one >.>) Then there will be the guys who like other games, but hate Pokemon. You know?
So, I say no. Let's stay as Pokemon only.
And that's my two cents. But have a plan to kill
everyone you meet.

Well, since someone else said it.
I fully agree with Ty on this.
I do think playing non-Pokemon games together is a great idea, and you can represent the guild when you play if you want. But I think that the guild itself should stay focused only on Pokemon and games directly connected with it. IMO, if we brought in "other games" we would only be hurting the guild.

Isnt that our goal? Is to have more active members lol.
I dont think people who didnt like Pokemon would join lol, unless they are a confused child.
Also, all CoD players are asshats? I play it. That make me an asshat?
@Toph, I dont see an issue with playing with you guys on a console. As far as I see it, thats just bettering the friendship you have with a fellow guild member.
Now if I found a completely random person over xbox live who likes Pokemon, why not invite them? Nothing bad about that.

Jerz, don't get me wrong, I play other games beesides Pokemon with PWF friends. I'm not saying we shouldn't play other games together. But as soon as we start advertising this guild as anything other than a Pokemon guild, it's went to far. If we're just going to have a couple of threads that's fine. A whole sub-forum would be bit to much IMO, but I could deal with it. But as soon as it's mentioned on the homepage, or threads in the other subforums or in the main forum appear, we will have ruined ourselves. I already don't like the direction this guild has headed recently, and this would only make it worse.
I may make a post regarding this in the crew office.

As interesting as that does sound, I think it's really up to whomever is playing the games xD
as for WoW, I already run a high end raiding guild, so...there's no way in hell I'm starting that over xD
As for CoD, I'm part of Emperor, the video game division of my racing team...
So...I'm actually already set in certain other groups.
but... like I said, it's up to the person.
and as Topher said, the main focus of this guild should remain pokemon. If we stray too far from the main focus, people are going to focus more on that aspect. That's just what I think anyway.

Not all CoD players are asshats, but a lot of them are. That, or they're the annoying 12 year old trolls. I really don't want them on my Xbox and in the guild. >.<
(which reminds me. i gave my MW2 away to a friend. sorry i never got the chance to play with you D: ) But have a plan to kill

LOL@12 yr old trolls.
I met quite a few of them. 3nodding But thats not just on CoD. Their on every game and console.
I seem to find more mature people on L4D though. 3nodding
I never have anyone to play it with though lol, so I rarely play it.
I dont have a gaming guild/clan or what ever it is. This is the closest thing I've got lol. xd

I'm gonna agree with Ty and Toph on this one, actually. I mean, yeah, other games are good and all. And of course we all have accounts elsewhere on the computer. Hell, my Serebii account signature is an add for the PWF. But I don't think that we should expand our horizons just to get more members.
Now, advertising on these different places is one thing. Sure, if I'm talking to someone I don't know on zOMG or someone I do know on facebook that likes pokemon, or even if I know them in real life, I'm gonna invite them to the guild. But that's because this is a pokemon guild. I know there are people out there that do hate pokemon, but as soon as they see some other game on the home page they'll join because lets face it, some people are just really stupid. Then we have a possible situation on our hands, depending on the persons tolerance and so on.
Not that this is being put up to a vote or anything, but if it was, I'd vote "no" for sure.
