Hey guys, dunno when this will be replied, but hopefully soon... *watches a passing tumbleweed*
Anywho, I have had my PSP bricked(Pandora Battery was used on it) and I've now decided to get a game off the net, and I thought that it should most definately be Suikoden 1+2 for the PSP. Now, I think that I have found what I need, but I'm not sure if it is in English or Japanese(was only released in Japanese, hopefully this is a patched version). So I was wondering if anyone else has done this yet, and if they could give me a link to a torrent of the file.
Thanks in advance, Quantum Fire.

Hey again.
Okay, I already had a file lined up for download, still haven't yet, but waiting for my internet to be restored.
Anyway, the file for both 1 and 2 is about 750 Mb. The changes (acording to either wikipedia or suikosource, or some other site!) is that there is no matilda glitch gonk , faster unite/rune sequences biggrin , and other minor things.
Also, I do pay for all my games, it is just that this is a patched to english version, seeing how you can only buy it in japanese.
Anywho, it is good to see that those tumblesweeds have some non-tumbleweed friends out here.
When I get the files, I'll post how it goes!

QuistisTrepe19 Rockin'. I heard some of the character portraits were updated, too. And how does patching work, exactly? I've heard the term, but I'm not tech savvy in the least. Ok, so I'm not the huge genius when it comes to a psp, BUT I'm pretty sure that patching a game, over any console, is where they would edit parts of the code to either correct an error, or change a feature. For example: Australia's L4D2 had a restriction on it where it would be less violent, BUT as soon as a patch comes out, you can download the patch, it is will remove all restrictions. So a patch is really just like an update if you will of the software. Anyway, I've got one more question. Should I play Suikoden 1, or 2 first. I ask because Suikoden 2 was the first one I played, and it would be great. Or do I go with the prequel and THEN go down nostalgia lane? I just want to see what people think. QF.

QuistisTrepe19 English Major(TM) nitpick: It's not a prequel, it's the first in the series with II as it's sequel. A prequel is an installment that was released later but chronologically set before a previous installment (ie, The Phantom Menace is a prequel to Star Wars, while The Empire Strikes Back is a sequel). /English Major Anyhoodle, play Suikoden I first. The conflict it sets directly leads to S2 (Jowston invading Moravia leads to Highland invading Jowston which becomes the war that ends just before S2 begins), so you get that, and I would think that you could upload the Suikoden I data to get the original gamebreaker, Tir, post-Luca. Plus I really wanna hear if there's any updated character portraits for S1. (Sue me, but I'm iffy on Kawano's artwork pre-S4). Also, I do know that it isn't a prequel, but from my point of view (I've only ever played S2, S4(never finished because crappy thing started to freeze when I tried to travel scream ) and S5, in that order) So to me the S1 is a prequel, but it tehnically isn't, I know. S4 and S5 are though. (I too am a bit nit picky time to time. For example I'm a spelling/grammar nazi(unless I can't spell the word sweatdrop )) Anyway... YIPPEEEEEE!!!!! I got's it to work, I got's it to work! *Dances a happy dance* Ok, well, the good news is of course, it is working, and if anyone want's me to post up how to do it, I will, with MAYBE a video, but definately screenshots if not. The SORTA bad news is that it is NOT a patched version of Suikoden 1+2, but a direct port of Suikoden and Suikoden II. This means no changes from the PS1 versions. Sorry Quistis, not gonna be able to tell you if there are any protrait changes, BUT I think you can find them in the Suikosource character list! And I can do the Matilda glitch in S2 now! Anyway, PM or post here if anyone want's a thread on how to put the games in the PSP.(I won't be telling how to make psp get custom firmware, do it yourself... or get a another guy to do it, like I did... darn year 9 kid, smarter than me, grumble grumble grumble. (I'm year 11(I say year, instead of grade, cause I'm an awesome Aussie!))). Have fun!

Hey guys.
Ok, I just finished Suikoden I and to be honest, it was a tad of a let down. I didn't collect all the stars, and was focused on the story. Anyway, still had fun.
Ok, so I'm going to post a how to do this, on the weekend I hope(I hope something doesn't come up).
So yeah, I'll have screenshots and everything. Other than that...
Cheers, QF

I was just planning to play through both games once without using any Walkthrough. So when I finish S2 without a walkthrough, I'll replay S1 with a walkthrough for all the stars. Also, I loved S1, it was just really short compared to my memories of S2, thats all. Anyway, I will deffinately be posting that install guide soon. I've writen it all out, I just need to get my screenshots put in, and I'm posting it. Unfortunately, I've got exams this week, so I'll hopefully get them done the first day of my holidays! I may yet make a vid, I'm not sure yet. Cheers, Quantum Fire.
