Yeah...I read a review for the movies not too long ago, and that is exactly what it said.
First of all, Twilight is not romantic whatsoever. The only people it is romantic to is those girls who wish to be stalked and abused.
Second of all, for it to be even compared to Titanic, Edward should die at the end. Also, Leonardo and Kate are actually talented.

Apparently they never saw PS I Love You, The Notebook, or A Walk To Remember. All of those were 100x more romantic than Twilight could ever HOPE to be!

Whose review was it? Maybe they were a teenage girl who's already biased, or...Maybe she's been deprived of all film and has only yet seen two? Or maybe she's just a dumbass...Or maybe it's a satire review?

This is sort of apt if you think about it; the dude and the chick in the movie were more in lust. That, and the girl was too hesitant to get married to her arranged husband-guy-person.

I"m not a fan of romance, so the only one of those movies I've seen was A Walk To Remember, which a friend made me see (though I was a total a** about it...) but they all seemed very romantic; sometihng that if you liked romance, they would be worth watching. I.e, good romances. But there was nothing romantic about Twilight. And it was creepy in a bad way. There is the creepy-disturbing- this-is-so wrong/ messed up- but in a good way kind of movies, then there is the creepy-just-plain-wrong and that's the kind of creepy twilight is. (....I'm not sure that made much sense...)

No Twilight is "Uber" romantic and junk did u see when Edward watched that lucky Bella girl in her sleep he's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo protective i wish some one would do that for me and wisk me away to a life full of supah happeh ROMANCE!! 4laugh ...complete and utter sarcasm.
Twilght is.....just plain freaky .__. who ever said that really needs to come from under that rock they have been hiding under for decades.

Demoness Crystallia Meh. "Romance" movies suck in general. At least Titanic had a story behind it though... Personally, I love a good romance. PS I Love You, for example, dealt with the guy's death very realisticly. The begining of the movie showed the two fighting and then making up. There's a scene after he passes where she (spoiler) slept with someone else and naturally felt guilty. Even though her husband had been dead for about 6 months at this point. (end spoiler) The flashbacks in the movie showed very clearly how much they loved each other.

The first 5 minutes of Up was more romantic and tragic then Titanic.
Titanic is IMO, besides the costumes and stage design, another over rated movie. It's pretty to look at... like all James Cameron movies. The only movie I like that he directed was Aliens.
But still Twilight doesn't even come close to Titanic either.
