Now now, there are plenty of nicer things to hit yourself with, then bricks.
And I don't think you can "spend" the points on anything.
I believe they are just there to prove that you've done alot of them, which yes, is EXTREMELY pointless >.<

Well the OLD quest system was cool.
It didn't pop up on your page, it was totally optional, and you got silly (sometimes cool) items from them. So, they might have been worthless in the market but they were still free.
This new system is just like previous stated in this thread, nothing more than a pointless brag-fest. *shakes head*

If ANYONE doesn't like the new point system, then the next time it pops up, look at the bottom of the small pop-up window and uncheck the box there before you "X" it out. That will make it stop popping up.

It all reminds me of xbox's gamerscore system. A pointless brag-fest, indeed. I read an editorial yesterday by a guy who quit his xbox live account and abandoned his gamerscore. He said it felt great cuz he hated competing for useless points like that.

Jees... I'd be happy if I could make the points go into gold or something... then I could do something with it... but now that I know I can't do anything with it it pisses me off a tad...

I disabled mine a long time ago, but the little orange sparkle is still annoying when it flies across the screen.
