Lois Lane, intrepid reporter: but this week, she'll be taking a turn as a treasure hunter! When a mysterious map appeared on her desk at the Daily Planet, she was whisked off on a world tour adventure trying to track down what it led to. With Jimmy Olsen by her side, now she'll try to get through the mysterious burial ground underneath the Pyramids of Egypt!
With Superman away on a mission in space, will Lois get herself into more trouble than she can handle?
"Golly, Miss Lane, are you sure it's a good idea for us to go down this secret passage? *gulp* I heard some of the natives say that they've seen a Mummy walking around these pyramids at night!"
Lois checks her makeup in her compact and adjusts her fancy pith helmet.
"Don't be such a nervous Nelly, Jimmy. We've gotten this far without Superman's help, haven't we? And using this mysterious map I have, there's no way we can get lost!"
"But what about the booby traps?"
"Don't be silly, Jimmy! Any traps that are down there will have rotted away long before now!"
Lois thinks to herself as she reflects nothing but confidence at Jimmy....
"As long as that mysterious someone who's been trying to stop us this whole time didn't follow us here, too!"
She holds open the door to the secret entrance under the pyramid for Jimmy, who hesitatingly steps inside...
Meanwhile, behind them, lurking in the dark is a face that Lois would recognize from the Fashion pages of the newspaper. Mari McCabe, known to some as the Vixen, holds up a copy of a map of her own.
"I have to stop them from getting to the Idol of Sekhmet, by any means possible! If Lois gets her hands on that idol, Sekhmet himself will be released..."
Using the stealthyness of the puma, Vixen slips into the pyramid behind Lois and Jimmy, determined to see if she can set up any traps to stop the two or encourage them to turn back. If they won't, she fears...the worst may come to pass.

Lois steps inside and blinks as her eyes adjust to the darkness. As an ace reporter there was no way she was going to leave such an important story to the likes of Clark Kent. Besides, he was "away". He was always "away. "I have no idea how he keeps his job" Lois thought to herself. No matter, because everyone knew she was the better reporter. It was just too bad that Superman wasn't here to see what is sure to be her most triumphant accomplishment to date. It would be even better than that time she caught those drug smugg....
Jimmy cleared his throat as he took a wooden torch from a bracket in the wall and lit it with a lighter he pulled from his pocket, successfully snapping Lois out of her daydream. Uh, GEE Miss Lane? Don't you think you should have worn more comfortable shoes?
Lois scowled at Jimmy "Just because we're in some dank, dark passageway under a pyramid, doesn't mean I should just "let myself go". For heaven's sake, Jimmy. What if Superman finishes his space mission early, came to find us and saw me in FLATS!? Lois shuddered/.
"let's get started!". Lois takes the lit torch from Jimmy and heads off into the passageway. Jimmy shrugged and followed closely behind her.

Vixen:The sun of Egypt beaming down on Vixen felt like a "thousand suns". The sun was soon to fall though , and night would come. This was way different from the city life that she was used to know a days , but it brought her back to her roots. Back then though she wasn't wearing heels that dug into the sand ever so often. As Vixen stared into the distance she saw a figure. A figure that she recognized.Vixen saw in the distance no other than "Lois Lane". She knew exactly what she was doing. "What are you doing on this side of the world Lois?Not enough stories in the big city? You aren't looking for the "Idol of Sekhmet" are ya? Well if you are I'm going to have to stop you!"Vixen with the quickness of a cheetah ran towards the towering Pyramid keeping distance from her , and Lois. She didn't want her cover to be blown. "Who is that?" Vixen mumbled to her self as she hid behind a mushroom rock. "Jimmy Olsen... I don't think these two know what there getting into." Vixen held up her map , and saw that there was another entrance. A entrance that would keep her ahead of Lois. She quickly dashed to the side of the Pyramid when she saw Lois & Jimmy enter from the other side.
As Vixen walked down the 2nd passageway she could smell fire. Fire that was coming from Lois's torch. That would help her keep track of them. Not only the obvious light source , but the smell. One thing she had to be careful of though was the shadows. Vixens pondered for a min. ,and thought of how she was going to stop them , or make them leave. "Traps!" Vixen whispered , "but what kind?"

Lois was happily "clip clopping" along the passageway in her high heels, the map in one hand, the torch held high in the other. She was daydreaming as she went.
In her dream, she walks into the Daily Planet office with an egyptian treasure chest. Perry was beside himself. "MS LANE! Your work is simply tremendous! Not only will I give you a HUGE byline and the entire front page, but I'm going to give you a RAISE and new shoes!" Clark would of course, be sheepishly sitting in a corner like timid ol' Clark Kent always did. BORING! He'd congratulate her, but internally, he'd be SEETHING over the fact that Lois scooped him once again. The entire Planet office would be in an uproar. Lois would be the talk of the town. Then, SUPERMAN would fly in through the window. He'd marvel at the treasures she had found and the work she had done. He'd turn to her and say "Lois! Now I realize how well you handle dangerous situations. Now I know that you're strong enough to be my SuperWife!. I needn't worry about my enemies coming after you, since I know you can handle danger now! Lois would be ecstatic, because every lady from the 50's, such as "silver age Lois" would love nothing more than to be married to a handsome, strong man. Superman would get down on one knee, turn to Lois and say....
Er.. Ms. Lane? Jimmy tapped Lois on the shoulder. "You're about to walk into a HUGE spiderwe...."
Lois blinks. "SUPERMAN WAS JUST ABOUT TO PROPOSE!"
"uh..... what?"
"Nothing. Nevermind. how about you go on ahead and see what you can do about that nasty old web?"
Lois pushes Jimmy into the web
EGADS! IT'S EVERYWHERE! IT'S IN MY HAIR!. Jimmy flails at the web, as Lois waits patiently for the way to be cleared

Vixen: In the distance Vixen could hear yelps ,and threshing around. At first she thought it was Lois , but soon realized it was Jimmy.The deep undertone gave that away. As Vixen pondered she became worried. She was running out of ideas , and nothing was popping into her head. Plus the aroma of the fire was not far.What could she do? She had no supplies , no anything to build a trap. Vixen looked down at her claws , and then the floor of the passageway.
" I've cut through metal , I can easily cut through this."
Vixen got on all fours , and braised herself. Quickly Vixen started to claw away at the floor. At first looking like something straight out of a cartoon. A desperate attempt to make the two turn back. As the sweat dipped down Vixens forehead she stared up from the bottom of the whole she had just made. Finally after some serious digging she had made a huge hole. It was not deep enough to hurt anyone, but it would spook any human. Vixen quickly jumped out , and looked at her map. She saw that they were quite far from the Idol , but close if she didn't make more traps. She quickly ran down the passageway thinking up a plan. That is if the hole is not scary enough.
"What next?"

"You know, Jimmy. I didn't realize that these old egyptian passageways would be quite so.. dirty. I wonder if I can write off a trip to the salon as a business expense?"
Uh... I don't know anything about that, Miss Lane". Jimmy peered over Lois's shoulder at the map "Do you know what this map leads to? What this "treasure" is?
Lois frowned as she looked over the map. "Well, no. Not exactly, but it has to be good. Besides, what kind of Ace Reporter would I be if I didn't at least follow up on this lead?"
Yeah, but it could be dangerous. Maybe we should have brought some help
"Nonsense, Jimmy. I have you! Why don't you step on ahead and check to see if the way is clear?" Lois gives Jimmy an encouraging smile and a gentle push down the corridor. After a few steps, a large "THUD" is heard
"AGHHHHHHH. HELP ME, MISS LANE."
Lois peers down to see Jimmy at the bottom of the hole. She sighs and laughs before offering a hand to pull him up. "Oh, Jimmy. You're always getting into trouble, aren't you?
"......."

Lois pulls a disgruntled Jimmy Olsen out of the hole before pausing to look at the map again. "You know, there is this huge area with a skull and crossbones drawn on it. What do you think that is?"
"Gee, Miss Lane. I think that means that we need to stay the heck away from that area. It's probably dangerous. It could have traps!"
Lois stops to consider this. Her nose starts twitching, which Jimmy knows is never a good thing "or, it could be that there is tons of treasure and neat stuff there, but whomever made this map, wants to keep it hidden!"
"I don't think we should.... but .. Miss Lane?"
Lois heads off down the passageway, map in one hand and a torch in the other as she makes her way towards the room that was marked so ominously on the map "mmmm I smell a story!"
I smell trouble. Jimmy hurries to catch up to Lois
