» look deep inside - - - Lex is naturally shy, overly shy. She doesn't talk a lot and, when she does, her voice is often soft and quiet. She likes to keep to herself and simply observe from afar. She'll open up around friends but nearly completely shuts herself off around strangers. Some could call her a push over, which is sometimes true, but Lex also has a strong backbone. She just doesn't always know how to use it. That doesn't mean she won't use it if she has too. Then it comes naturally to her. The rest of the time, she retreats into her safe shell. Lex daydreams a lot and is often lost in thought. Sometimes she'll just completely zone out and dive into the depths of her mind. Lex doesn't seem like the type of girl who would have the guts to get up on stage and sing in front of crowds, but when she gets on stage it's like she's a new person. When she sings, her voice is strong and proud. She's not afraid to show what she can do and loves to preform for people. It's like she's two different people. However, once she steps off stage or stops singing, she dives back into herself once again. She's really a sweet girl and has a heart of gold. She's just a little sensitive and shy, maybe she just needs someone to pull her out of her shell.
» memories are fading - - -Lex lived a normal life. She was the youngest of three, both of them being older sisters. She was always considered the baby of the family because of this and sometimes Lex would always feel like her parents were trying to plan out her life. Her eldest sister was the one she was closest to, mainly because they were interested in the same things. Her middle sister was more into fashion and designing than the other two. Lex and her other sister were more into music. Unlike her eldest sister, who went on to become a teacher, Lex was determined to follow her dreams and one day make it big in the music world, even though her parents frowned on this idea. Lex started taking singing lessons when she was little and was constantly writing new songs. It was her passion and her dream.
When she heard that a band was forming, Lex was quick to jump at the opportunity. She auditioned to be the lead singer and was ecstatic when she was accepted into the band. That was where she met him. He was the one that had started the band and he was the band’s guitarist. They grew close over time and he even took time to teach her how to play guitar. It didn’t take long for them to start dating. Everything seemed perfect, until things started going downhill. All of a sudden, all these problems arose within the band and they were all constantly arguing. It was hard for Lex to make her go to practices with them due to how the environment was. If it wouldn’t have been for her boyfriend, Lex probably would have quit right then. But she didn’t want to just abandon him and the band so she stuck around and tried to work things out.
In her eyes, things seemed to be looking up after a little but then he decided to drop the next bomb. He wanted to break up with her, because of the problems going on with the band. It was a shock to Lex sine she thought things had been going well, obviously she had been wrong. She tried to act like nothing happened but things just felt awkward between them now. She’s starting to consider leaving the band. Lex jumped at the chance of going to the private island. It would give her some time to get away from everything happening in her life and let her think. She’d have some time away from the band, and her ex, and would be able to clear her head so she wouldn’t make a choice she’d end up regretting. This would be a relaxing vacation. She’d sit on the beach, read, write songs, and just rationally think everything through. Nothing was going to ruin this…
