At one point we were all human, so tell me about why or how you became a centaur?

I'll start.
Once upon a time, when the potions first came out, I thought they were cool, but I was way too poor to even think about buying one. Then not long after the potions were released I opened a RIG/CI and guess what was inside? I struggled forever trying to decide if I should drink it or sell it. That was a lot of gold at the time, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a centaur forever. Even though I knew I could easily turn back into a human, I didn't want to waste all the gold, so I told myself that if I drank it I would stick with it forever, or at least a very long amount of time. I researched a bunch of centaur threads, and even PMed a centaur asking him how the items worked with the body. As soon as I figured out that I could just equip a skin and be normal again, I immediately drank the potion. I was disappointed that I couldn't wear shoes, but soon grew to love my new legs. I've been a centaur for 2 years in September, and I have never even considered changing back.

I've been a member for 2 years this September. When I began centaurs weren't very common but I saw one every now and again. After about a year I became a centaur but soon grew tired of it and started using I am poses, then items. Eventually I switched to this account after a failed scam attempt arrived in my PM box. Until recently when I found the old potion and thought about the originality in being a centaur.I had long struggled to keep a human outfit for long and I seldom see them in any of the gathering places anymore and so I bought the potion and I plan to keep this body for the remainder of my time on gaia.

When i first joined Gaia back in June 2010, i had no clue about these Potions. I was browsing Skin Tyte and i happened to stumble opon said potions. I eventually saved up enough gold and bought one. My first color was black. couple of months later i switched to Grey. I took a break from a taur for a while and tried Yemayas Pearl. Eventually, i decided to stay a taur and chose Bay as my official color.

I wasn't on Gaia for that long. I was joined about 6 months ago. I was a lot of different things like an alien, vampire, elf, and human but when I tried the Centaur potion I really liked it. I thought that the Centaur was a pretty thing since not a lot of people had it.

I've been a centaur ever since I joined 81 days ago. It was only logical that since I love horses that I should become half horse! It was like a no-brainer.
I haven't really experimented much with outfits, really.
I realize that gaia doesn't pay much attention to different races here, I wish they did.
I'm hoping our community of centaurs will grow and thrive. :3

I Was A Normal Girl, When I Friend Of Mine Told Me About Centaurs, He Was One. So He Keeped Telling Me To Try One Till I Did. Was One Ever Since. And Friend Of Mine Name Was DryBoneXL.

It was an expensive adventure for me. I didn't know how to see or preview potions, so I had to risk some gold. First, I was a dark elf, but I had no idea the potion would make me a purple/black color, I looked bruised! So I freaked out and looked for a different potion, vampire was next. I don't particularly love vampires, but I wanted to give it a try, and guh! I couldn't stand the eyes and skin! Then I noticed there was a centaur potion, so I went into zOMG killed so many gnomes and flamingos and bought a gray centaur potion, it was the best thing ever, I loved my legs, and to me it's an advantage, Never having to buy pants or shoes saves me a ton of money for things I want more.
Plus I love walking around and having people freak out at the fact that not only am I a centaur, but also a clown. xD Becoming a centaur was the best thing I could have done.

I first became a Centaur right after the potions were released. I changed back into a human once for about a week to do a Star Trek themed avatar, but I decided I liked being a Centaur better.
One of my mules is also a Centaur (Invisible Rika, she's gray).

When I joined Gaia not long ago, one of the first things I did was look through the shops. I came across Skin Tyte and inmmediatly bought a Vampire potion, as I'm a Twilight lover. I soon grew tired of this form and went to change back to human, but I had some Gaia Cash so I decided to buy a centaur one instead. I hated the change of skin colour, but I've grown to love it and my new body.

I've been on gaia since 07. When I saw that they came out with the centaur base i immediately went and got it biggrin
Then after a while I went back to being human because I missed being able to wear socks razz
But now Imah is a centaur again yaaaay!!

In all honesty, I changed to a centaur because i was tired of the whole superficial body structure and looking the same as everyone else. sure you can change your skin tone but the body shape and size doesnt change. I took a look inside the potion section of Skin Tyte and lo and behold, the gray centaur caught my eye. I had just played in the marketplace, so i had the money to experiment. I loved it the day i got it and I haven't changed back since. I don't plan on it either!

Quite a while back, I can't remember exactly when, I found out about the centaurs! In real life I was a fan of centaurs, so I bought my first potion, a gray centaur potion. I was like that for a while but eventually I switched back and have cycled through several species including dromes, nagas, elves, but I became a centaur again recently :3

I created this account when the potions were first released. My intent was to make a centaur avatar and keep it that way. I choose brown because I have brown hair. smile

Iv always like Centaurs iv been one several times but always changed back to human because of issues with clothing iv also been a faun and a angel/devil imp but in the end i always go back to a centaur and now iv found some good items to dress in so im going to stay as one. Plus its easer since i have problems with finding good bottoms shoes for human base to go with my avatars top D:
