Trading close-up is simple, you go to the upstairs part of a pokemon center, go into the union room, and and select trade when talking to a friend or other nearby person.
Wifi trading can be done two ways. The GTS is a place where you can deposit a pokemon in request for another, or search for pokemon already in your pokedex.
The other way to trade over WiFi is one that I haven't really used yet, but I think it works like this; in the downstairs part of a pokemon center, you can trade with people that you have the friend codes of, or who you have registered in your pal pad (or whatever it is in HG SS).

I don't mean to troll, But what sorta was the point of saying the HG part. And Golbat doesnt evolve through Trade. Just if you got it mixed up. o.o
