Does anyone besides me miss it? I remembered it partly because of onemanga being shut down. It introduced me to anime, though a lot of the shows I can't remember well because I was young when I watched it. I finally got curious enough about one of them (Outlaw Star) to find it because of this video: Broken Promises I really want to find a complete list to satisfy my curiosity though.
So does anyone know where I can find all the shows that Toonami's shown?

Now I know that Toonami showed Cowboy Bebop the same Year they aired Outlaw Star. But that was when they had the late night version of Toonami along with the daytime version. The late night version was the glorified ancestor of the present day much decayed Adult Swim.

It was Fall/Winter of '01 and '02. I was pregnant at the time and would sit up by myself and watch it late when my husband was at work. I ended up driving my husband nuts trying to find the Real Folks Blues for weeks after I watched CBB all the way through. He was afraid to let me down (like I said, I was prego).

I miss the good Adult Swim too... It is so bad now. King of the Hill was on it! Seriously!

I've already seen all the episode on another station at an earlier time. I forget what channel it was, but they were on at 8 pm, not midnight...

Adult Swim when it first came out was pretty much just adult anime. It wasn't until the success of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and some of the other comedy cartoons that they really stopped playing the anime. But yeah essentially when it started it was Toonami for adults.

Of course though I always thought it was kind of strange that they played Paranoia Agent but not Serial Experiments Lain. I always half expected them to play Perfect Blue as well.

(Now there's one no one remembers anymore.)

Those shows are are what got me hooked! That and Pokemon. I didn't understand Outlaw Star but it still made me really curious (I kept watching hoping it would come back on again XD), I still think no one can beat Goku (ever), and I don't think there's a little girl alive who after watching Sailor Moon doesn't want to be her. heart

@Helica: Thanks for finding the show list! Google failed me on that one.
