As you know we centaurs have a hard time with outfits and clothing options.
-What do you all do for a good looking avatar?
-How should a centaur go about making an outfit?
-Do you make a tek tek or do you just wing it?

More centaur clothes! More centaur clothes! Ahem. I kind of wing it, can't use shoes and a lot of the bottoms look really off. Leg warmers are iffy, too. I've only made one tektek that looked alright. I think I might save up for it.

When making outfits I just wing it. I only use tektek when I just need one more item to make it perfect. I usually just play around with the items in my inventory till I come up with something I like.
Well I personally love the Meido deluxe aprons. I literally own one in every color. They work as a nice base for a lot of different outfits, not just maid/cook outfits, and they are great for layering. Plus, they have the waist aprons in the same style.
I love them with the centaur body because it's like a dress, but a centaur could actually wear it because it has no back. It works great when you're trying to dress for a fancy party.

I also use tektek when I'm looking for something that isn't usually a tag...like this bow.

Normally I just wing it. I dont really buy many expensive items anyway. I basically just throw together any old outfit and I always make the most of freebies.

- Oh lord if I told you guys how I made my avatars, you wouldn't be able to post anything! I plan for days when I make an avatar and when I actually make it, I spend weeks of twinking it here and there. First off I usually look for tops(costs and jackets)/hair(wigs)/belt/wraps/hats and sometimes cloaks and capes. Maybe the occasional very short skirt. I just don't know how to wrong it really, I pick the colors I want to use ( like for an example blue and gold ) then put on stuff till it starts matching.

Well, first I tried to choose outfit for black-skin centaur - the colours I had were mostly white, some of blue and black. I used tek tek to try it - mostly from the clothing I know, and search for a weapon - scythe or a spear.
When I decided to do clothing for brown centaur, I used my own closet. Black and red went well both for the centaur, and for my centaur-companion - Sunukkuhkaku or something like that. It matched well - my black&red clothing with his black and red skin.
I still used a scythe, though initially I also had a knife in my hand.

The only problem is that i have a lot of white items... so I look very monochrome at times ><

Which was pretty and all, but I finally decided to get some color in my diet. But now it's only red and gold, red and gold. I need some blue.
