《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ What was it that made him so ticked off so early in the morning today...? Oh yeah, it was a bunch of thugs who thought they could pick on a small defenseless boy like himself. Except, they were missing out one detail. He wasn't defenseless. In fact, he could bet up more people than this during his younger days. No sweat. Grinning, the boy glanced around the group that surrounded him. They shot threatening comments at the Rattata, but he didn't flinch or hesitate even for a moment. He was definitely used to this. Being the son of a famous, wealthy company owner, there were many enemies and rival companies that tried to target the son instead of the big man himself. Either for revenge or as a threat. Unfortunately for them, the boy knew how to protect himself, pretty well actually. In fact, he was a rebel, caused by the pressure of the life he had at home. Given by his strict family. Honestly, it was almost as if he was raised in a mafia household. The only difference was that the business was clean and legal. Almost. He stood in the center of the group that surrounded him, then took a quick glance at the time on his cell phone. He was running late for work and he didn't like that one bit, since his boss had mentioned about a pay cut for being late again. The Rattata would have to quickly deal with the problem at hand, which wasn't hard. Cracking his knuckles together, he looked at the man that was leading the group. "So..." he started, breaking the silence between them in the ally. "Do you reeeeally want to go through this?" He teased, even though he had already made up his mind about beating them up anyway. It was fun to hear their replies though.
Staring at his opponent intensely, he saw him bite his lip in disgust, as if he felt insulted by the boy's sarcastic comment. "Hah!" The man shouted back, faking a nervous grin on his face. "Don't make me laugh, boy. What can a kid like you do?" A smile creeped up the boy's face, the man was the one making the boy laugh. Of course, no one would expect a frail looking boy like himself, to be able to defeat so many of them, right? Wrong. He was different, in so many ways they could never imagine. "Let me humor you then." In a flash, the group of thugs were down, leaving the boy with nothing more than a scratch on his unprotected wrist due to his carelessness. It stung but it wasn't much to worry about. Glancing around the scene, the group who had previously been a threat, or so they thought, laid still on the ground, moaning and groaning. They were nothing more than just another group of punching bags, like any other groups before them that tried to take him down. Grunting, he picked up his backpack, ready to head out of the stuffy ally.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

"A trickster's smile" Shin was busy lately, quite busy. There were rumors upon rumors making their way through the city, and it was his job to analyze all of them. It wasn't an easy job, but the Haunter found it amusing and time consuming to say the least. He liked hearing the false rumors, what people came up with off the top of their head to spread about someone, or spent days, even longer, to try and whip up. But it was the truth that he was far more interested in, because the truth was his tool. Truth and knowledge, he used both to get, and stay, ahead of his enemies and allies. It was information that he used to make a living, and how he spent most of his time. He'd wander the city personally, even though he had a vast network of both people and computers to work with. It was, what he considered to be, a 'perk' of the job. While he was out gathering information himself, he could also enjoy his other little 'part time job', scaring, surprising, and shocking people. He almost lived for it, that thrill and look on the other person's face, it made it all worth while. It never got old for him, even though he'd been doing it since he was a child. It was his guilty pleasure.
There was a certain rumor going around lately, one about a young Rattata who was to be the heir of a large and wealthy company. It didn't phase Shin at first, he'd heard many stories, rumors, bits of information on 'young, up and coming heirs' soon to succeed their parents, but this one was different. Apparently this 'heir' was left on his own, left to defend and make money of his own, with no help from his, quite well off, father and mother. It intrigued Shin. It was rare for him to come across an heir that wasn't handed everything with the snap of a finger, and instead had to work for it. He wanted to see what kind of person this Rattata was, and how useful he would be in the future.
This was how he found himself observing an outnumbered street brawl. The Haunter had been wandering the streets, actually looking for the boy, when he happened to bypass the ally and stumbled upon the very person he had been trying to find. Of course, though, he didn't intervene in the fight. It was the perfect opportunity to see if the rumors were true, and Shin wasted no time finding a perfect seat on the roof of one of the two surrounding buildings to observe the little scuffle. A small smile found it's way to his lips at the boy's words, and a sly smile took it's place once the men were all on the ground. It was...intriguing.
Just as the boy turned to leave, the Haunter quickly made his way down and looped his legs on a branched out poll just above the boy, dropping down to hang from it with his hands gripping it tight between where his legs were looped. "HELLOO~~~" Shin chimed loudly, partly to take the boy by surprise and partly because that's just how he often was. He always came off loosey goosey and far from serious, it was easier for him to work when people didn't know exactly how he thought, or how he worked. Shin wore a friendly grin on his face, wondering how the boy would react to his sudden appearance.
"Sure you wanna trust it?"

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ The place was so quite that you could hear a pin fall to the ground. The boy was certain that every single person was down but what was this strange feeling that still lingered? Shrugging, he turned away from the dead end where the fainted thugs lay. He let his guard down for a moment, assuring himself that there wasn't any threats left to face. Suddenly, a brush of purple swooped down in front of his face, and the noise it made, shocked the boy even more. "GAH!" He shouted in alarm, then swinging his fist at the thing as a reflex, still set from his previous battle. He felt his heart jump, as if it had launched itself out from his chest. Realizing that he had in actual fact, punched a guy instead of a "thing", his heart started to calm down but he couldn't let his guard down. For all he knew, he might have been with the previous attackers. If that was the case, then he wasn't sorry that he had hit him so hard. "You scared me half to death!" He shouted bluntly at the man, clenching his chest, trying to calm down from the scare he had just experienced.
It was extremely unnatural for the boy to encounter anything like this. It was childish, not something he was particularly fond of. In fact, it was something he felt great distaste towards. Why was the man even hanging on the pole in the first place? He had probably witnessed everything that had happened in the ally. All the fighting and teasing, everything. Cautiously, he stared at the man, closely examining him before speaking. "Are you... with them by any chance...?" Pointing towards the few bodies lying motionless on the ground. The Rattata could never be too certain about people. From his past experiences, if there was anything he learned, it was to never trust strange people, especially those who hung themselves from a pole. He didn't expect the purple haired man to tell him the truth though. No one in their right mind would if given this kind of situation. Unless they were really uninvolved with the thugs at all but, even that was hard to tell. The boy simply wanted a decent reply, or this time, he would have to hit the man on purpose instead and he was certainly ready for that.

"A trickster's smile" Before Shin had any time to react, a fist came flying at his face, and his head swayed back at the impact. "Atch-" was about all he got out in the process, gritting his teeth a bit in pain. He lowered a hand from the pole almost immediately, rubbing the part of his eye that had been hit, and would most likely be black and blue later. But, regardless of the pain he got for it, the boy's reaction was quite pricless. The Haunter couldn't help but laugh anyway, even though it hurt a bit to do so. Well, at least one part of his mission was accomplished, and rather quickly. He wasn't quite sure how easy it would be to get a reaction out of the Rattata, but it seemed that Shin had caught him off guard, something to remember for later. It'd probably continue to be a painful price to pay for those expressions and outbursts, but it was certainly one he was willing to deal with. Those kind of reactions were always pleasing to him, even if it came at that kind of cost.
The Haunter blinked a little at the boy's question, leaning both his body and head a bit to the side to follow the direction the boy was pointing in. "Mmmm nope, not that I know of," he replied nonchalantly, waving his hand a little as he continued, "I don't even think they're important enough to register on my 'radar'." Shin had been referring to his vast network, he knew of everyone who was important in some way, shape, or form, but he'd never actually taken notice of those thugs before. The fact that even he didn't know of them meant that they weren't all that important in his line of work, just a minor threat too small to even glance at. "You pack quite a punch, 'little heir'," he mentioned, smiling a little slyly, "or should I call you "Roro-hime" instead?" Shin grinned a friendly grin once again, although this time it was a little smug with the fact that he was using some of what he knew. He'd done some research on the Rattata before he sought him out. To him, it was always best to be at least a little prepared for what you were about to jump into, at least some of the time.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Relieved that the Haunter wasn't part of the group, he took a deep breath before sighing out, letting go all of the tension he had built up from the previous fight and scare. At least he could get a good rest before he headed to work, it wouldn't be very nice to walk in, all tired and worn out, especially since the day had just started. But he didn't want to fight the man either. He looked, somewhat dangerous to the boy. Wincing at what the haunter had mentioned, the boy was taken aback. Looks like the man was here for a reason. This definitely wasn't a chance encounter. He might not have been with the thugs but he was sure that this meeting would have something to do with his position as 'Heir' to his father's company. It wasn't something he was new with and he would always ask the same question. Although this time, it was slightly different. The man was alone, which made it strange since most of the time, they would attack in groups or at least pairs. The man must really be something. The Rattata couldn't let his guard down for even a second now.
Flinching at the call of, "Roro-hime" he stared blankly at the man for a second, his face turning bright pink. How did the Haunter know about that nickname? It was given to him by his friends that worked at the cafe but only they had known about it. Although he really didn't appreciate them calling him that. 'Impossible.' The boy thought, yet couldn't help but feel slightly amazed. Snapping out of his thoughts, he glared back at the man that was hanging loosely in front of him. How was he going to reply to the man? Or maybe he should just reply with his fist? "How did you..." Was the only thing the boy could think about at this moment, so he practically thought out loud. "Ah! Don't tell me you're one of those spies my father sent to check up on me again?" Remembering the time from his childhood where there had been several punishments because of his rebellious behavior. His father wasn't a person who took the boy's mistakes lightly. However, if he were a spy sent by his father, then why would he appear right in front of the person who he had to keep an eye on? It came up as strange to the young Rattata. Maybe the man wasn't helping his father after all, but he couldn't take chances. If he knew so much without even knowing the boy in person, he must have been dangerous, one way or another.

"A trickster's smile" "Ah, another amusing sight~" Shin thought to himself, chuckling at the boy's suddenly bright pink face at the mention of his nickname. It was another thing to remember. The Haunter was just having too much fun playing with the boy, and their time together had only just begun. He had questions, and the boy had the answers he sought, though what questions and answers he was looking for even he wasn't entirely sure of just yet. His only real goal was to determine the Rattata's character, who would become one of his new..acquaintances would he call it? He new many company leaders, some personally and others just by reputation. But, above all, he had been employed by quite a few to find out some scandalous and interesting things. It was this that caused Shin to really wonder if the new 'heir' would give him the same informational pleasures. Though, by how things were starting, Shin was having a pretty good amount of fun already. He almost considered working on closer terms with the boy than with his other company clients, they never amused him quite this much.
The Haunter blinked a little, innocently, again, tilting his head just slightly. "A spy? Your father really sent spies after you?" he had to refrain from the laugh that was trying to escape him, covering his mouth to try and hold it in while he chuckled to himself. "Do I honestly look like a spy to you?" he asked light heartedly, grinning a little. Shin took a moment to flip down from the pole he was hanging from, standing up shortly after and holding out a hand to shake the Rattata's, his other recoiled up to play with the fur on the loosely hanging top of his coat. "My name is Shin," he began, smiling loosely once again, "you could say...I work more along the lines of 'free lance' rather than strict employment." He wouldn't just spell his profession out, not yet, he wanted to see how far this would go and how much more fun he could have before cutting to business. After all, Shin lived for fun, and treating his work like work just wasn't how he liked to do things.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Looks like the man didn't have anything to do with his father after all but he was definitely a spy of some sort. Who knew what the man could have been after, what kind of information he was pursuing. The Rattata couldn't be too certain about the man. He would have to be on alert, to make sure the Haunter didn't get any information out of the boy. It might mean harming his father's company or worse, his reputation. As the man flipped down from the pole and introduced himself, the boy turned his head to the side, not wanting to get too comfy with the guy. He could never trust anyone so easily and that especially applied to the man in front of him. "I'd tell you my name, but you probably know what it is already." Giving a piercing glance towards the man before he continued, "and you would probably know my occupation as well, hm?" He said in a slightly serious, yet teasing tone. It wouldn't be a surprise really. After all, he was the 'heir' to his father's large business, like the man had stated before. Many people knew about him and was afraid. There were threats about killing the boy before, or even kidnapping for ransom. However, somehow, he managed to get through it all. Building his foundation of the business even more. The more dangers he faced, the better but he couldn't let his guard down for anyone and could trust no one. That was something he had to learn in the process.
The boy didn't quite understand what the Haunter had meant by 'Free lance', although it was clear to him that it had something to do with spying. Either way, he was still suspected as a spy, someone who hunted for information. Not someone the Rattata would want to mess with. Flipping out his cell phone, he stared blankly at the time. "Ah! I'm late for work!" He shouted at his phone. Looks like he would be getting that pay cut from his boss for his next salary and he didn't like that one bit. Swiftly making his way around the man, he barged out of the ally way and into the street, rushing towards the direction of his work place. 'Argh! it's all that Haunter's fault!' Cursing in his head, he couldn't care less about the Haunter anymore. Being as late as he was, he would have to sprint and he did. Luckily, the cafe which he worked at, was only a few minutes away by foot. He never took the family car to work, it would draw too much attention to the boy and all the attention wasn't welcomed. He pushed through the door of the cafe, which made a chime sound from the little bell that was hanging on it's frame. Immediately, he headed towards the back room where he would have to change into his uniform, which didn't take more than a few minutes. The owner smiled, seeing the boy so frantically arrive for work. However, he was still fixed on his pay cut idea, "You're still getting that cut..." He faked a smile, making the boy sulk angrily at it.

"A trickster's smile" The Haunter merely smiled friendly, yet a little slyly at the same time, not bothering to answer the boy's statement or question. He caught on quickly, Shin would have to give him that. He was actually a little impressed since the Rattata was so young, with an attitude to boot. Just made him want to mess with the boy even more. The higher the attitude, the more interesting the results he'd get, and this particular 'game' was off to a promising start. He would draw it out as far as he could, hold off until that last, ripe moment. The longer he with held his purpose for 'running into' the boy, the greater a reaction he was likely to get, at least, that's what he hoped for. He loved human reactions.
Just as the Haunter was about to mention it, the boy yelled abruptly at his cell phone before running off towards the cafe he worked at. Shin knew of it, knew of it quite well. The owner of that cafe shop was also one of his clients. Then again, it was hard to find someone in this city who wasn't in one way or another. Just as his network was vast, so were his own connections. He was almost like a spider, and the city was his web. It would, could reach just about anywhere, as long as he kept spinning it. Another sly smile crept on his lips as he pulled a dark purple cell phone out of one of his various pockets. It was a wonder the thing hadn't fallen out when he was hanging upside down. Shin flipped it open and pressed a speed dial, bringing it to his ear as he waited for that particular voice. "Ah- hello. It's been a while. . . . Oh, no, not bad. I was having quite a time with one of your employees. . . No, no, don't be lenient on my account. If you punish him, it'll just make it that much more interesting," he said, talking nonchalantly as usual, "No, no. Ah, yes. Yes, everything was settled. Have you completed your end of the bargain? . . . Oh good. Then the game will proceed shortly." With that, Shin closed his cell phone shut, ending the call, and set it back into one of the pockets on his jacket. He turned, and started walking in the direction that the Rattata had taken off in.
______________
"Chingching," chimed the bells on the door of the entrance of a cafe as Shin opened the door and stepped inside. He had arrived at about double the time his earlier company had, having had taken his time walking to the shop. He wanted the delay, that time in which the boy would think their encounter was over. Another smile crept over his lips before he raised a hand up and spoke cheerfully. "HELLOO~" he repeated from earlier, "My name is Shin and I'll be helping out around the shop today~" The Haunter's eyes scanned over the shop briefly, stopping on the boy with lavender hair and gold eyes, a friendly yet sly smile once again in place.
"Sure you wanna trust it?"

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ The boy was about to object to his pay cut when the door of the cafe chimed. It wasn't opening hours yet, making the boy a little curious about the person entering the door, since the usual cafe staff was already present. He turned his head away from the owner and towards the childish person whom he had encountered earlier today, just in time to allow the familiar voice ring through his ears. The Rattata jerked backwards, then raising a lazy finger to point at the Haunter, almost automatically. "You..." he was speechless, his eyes narrowed, staring back at the man. This couldn't have been mere coincidence, could it? The boy didn't like this one bit. There was definitely something fishy going on and he wanted to know what it was and why. But since it was almost time for the cafe to open, he would have to ask during his break time. It wouldn't be good if he held up the cafe. The boy stared blankly at the Haunter, then back at the owner.
"What the heck is this guy doing here...?" he asked, knowing that he might not get a straight answer from either of them. He was kind of bored from all the action today, and now it was just starting to tick him off. Never in his life, had he faced so many annoyances in one single morning. He couldn't be bothered with anything anymore and waved his hand lazily in the air, "Ah, do whatever you want... Just... Don't disturb me during my shift." Of course, he was directing it to the Haunter who had so deliberately caused most of his annoyance this morning. Hopefully, he wouldn't bother him again, during his work. Taroro made his way to the locker rooms to spruce himself up. There were many people of all ages who visited the cafe frequently but they were mostly school girls, or even single working ladies. They had preferences and the Rattata was of the "cute" or "prince" kind. Most of the people who worked here were usually picked either because of their looks or they had an attitude that people were enraptured by, making the place all the more popular. The boy didn't know why he was picked in the first place, but he was happy enough that he actually had a job he enjoyed. Even the pay was pretty good, so he couldn't complain. Unless there was a pay cut, like today for instance. Glancing at his cellphone again, he nodded to himself. It was almost time for the cafe to open. Taking a last look at his hair, he patted it before heading back out into the dining area. Turning his attention to the Haunter again, he smiled teasingly. "You'd better get changed, for the girls." It wouldn't be fair if the man didn't have to wear a uniform like he did, now would it?____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _

"A trickster's smile" He couldn't help chuckling at the boy's reaction, it was almost exactly as he was expecting. Shin watched at the boy questioned his boss briefly, but waved it off and went to the back to change into his work clothes. He let his eyes wander around while the boy was out of the room, taking in the interior of the shop. It was set up rather nice, had that typical 'homey' feel to it and was quite relaxing. He almost felt like he was in one of those animes that was on late in the evenings, and half expected to see a group of school girls first thing when it opened.
The Haunter returned his attention to the boy after he came back out and started talking again, chuckling again at his words. "As you wish, "Roro-hime"" he teased back with a sly smirk, walking back to the staff area to change.
As he expected, the owner of the cafe had gotten an outfit ready for him as soon as their call earlier had ended, as well as a temporary locker for him to put his clothes in. Shin grinned a little to himself, he had to admit, the man was good at thinking ahead. He didn't even have to mention the small details to the cafe owner for him to take care of them. Shin stripped out of his normal clothes, setting them inside the locker and changing into the cafe waiter clothes. He took out his lip ring and few earrings, setting them on top of his folded clothes on the shelf above his now hanging coat. The Haunter knew he should at least do that much. Outside of places like this it wasn't a problem, but inside he had to make himself so-called 'presentable'.
After changing into the appropriate clothes, he walked back out into the cafe area, pressing his hair down a bit so it wasn't sticking out as wildly as usual, but still somehow managed to a bit. He looked much more well kept and 'normal' when his hair was more tame and his outfit less tight and revealing, aside from the three small tattoos on the side of his face. These clothes were much more loose than his usual ones, which was a little bothersome to him, but he was willing to put up with the change for now. He was on a mission of sorts after all, and you had to do what you had to do. "Good enough?" he teased, doing a mock spin around for the boy.

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ The owner chuckled as the Haunter called the boy by his nickname, which was well known in the cafe. The Rattata blushed again at the same remark, the man was playing with him like he did back at the ally and he couldn't help but feel aggravated by it. It was enough that his colleagues called him by that name, now a guy who he had just met was doing the same. "Tch..." He turned his head away, feeling slightly annoyed, while the man made his way to the locker rooms where he would change into his new uniform. Now he found less reason to want to speak to the man, the boy just couldn't stand him any more and most of all, he hardly even knew him. "Jerk..." The Rattata murmured under his breath, listening to the fading footsteps of the Haunter and the sound of the locker room door closing.
It didn't take long for the purple haired man to get ready. While he was doing that though, the boy had been busy tidying up the place before they had to flip the sign that read "Close" to "Open" in neat dark fonts. The other two workers helped out, shifting chairs and wiping tables, even arranging flowers neatly on each and every table, creating the atmosphere to the place. Every second they had left before their designated time had arrived, was well spent on the cafe dining room. They always made sure that the place was well prepared before a busy day. Smiling contently at the area, the owner flipped the sign hanging at the front door. Their usual busy day was about to commence once again.
As the Haunter stepped out, the Lavander haired boy turned his attention to him, hoping that he would look ridiculous in the uniform. Fortunately for the man, he was wrong. The man didn't look bad in it at all. In fact, he actually looked suitable for the part. Taroro was left absolutely speechless, finding it hard to believe that the Haunter could look so different just with his piercings taken out and his hair in a different style. "Eh..." He forced out, trying to think of a good reply to the man's question. Before he could think of anything to say, the door of the cafe swung open and a group of school girls stepped in almost instantly. "Roro chan~!" They sang out harmoniously, looking gleefully at the Rattata. They were regulars in the cafe, who came over the same time everyday but the boy had almost forgotten after all the hustle he had to face in the morning. The group of school girls giggled to each other as they stood by the entrance of the door, waiting for the boy to lead them to their seats as usual. "Roro hime's fans are here again~" chimed one of Taroro's colleges to the boy, laughing out softly. The Rattata glanced at the man, then back at the group of girls, giving them his signature smile. Cool and calming. "The usual?" He motioned the girls to follow, leading them to the direction of their usual seats near the cafe window as they trailed behind. The group settled comfortably in their seats, while one of the girls smiled and ordered their usual meal, which the boy knew well. Nodding, he made the effort to remember and write the order down again, before passing it into the kitchen.
The girls noticed the new figure in the cafe, making them chat among themselves for a moment or two. Finally, they called the boy over again. "Hey, Roro chan. Who's the new guy?" One of them asked perkily, her eyes were fixed on the "new guy". The boy could tell that they were anxious to find out and he understood the reason completely. He felt his heart drop for a second, he didn't want to answer her question. However, he was in no position to refuse a client's request. Unwillingly, the boy replied, looking as serious as ever. "He's... Just a replacement for today..." Taroro didn't know if it was true, but that was what he thought the Haunter had mentioned earlier. But even if it was for a single day, he already detested the fact that the man was here in the first place. His reply sent the girls back into their conversation over the new waiter and the boy rolled his eyes when they weren't aware.

"A trickster's smile" He couldn't help another chuckle at the boy's reaction, his eyes glancing over at the batch of school girl's that entered almost immediately after the shop was opened. It looked like his suspicions were true, school girls did stop here. Shin was starting to realize just how this shop seemed to work, taking another look at his temporary colleagues. They each had a sort of 'look' to them, like you'd see in some sort of anime host club. No doubt the Rattata would be the 'princely' type, smooth and charming. Among the others there seemed to be almost every single other type, or at least combinations of them, as the staff wasn't very large. That meant that Shin could pretty much 'play' any part that he wanted, or switch back and forth if he chose to. He smirked a little to himself, today was going to be an amusing day for him.
A few more people entered the shop a little after the group of girls, and the Haunter and other staff members got to work. He escorted what looked like a couple to a pair of open seats, trying out a little charm here and there as he did, to make himself more appealing to the customers. The shop kind of worked around the staff's appeal, and what the customers preferred to see, almost like a host club of sorts. After setting the couple's order onto their table, he left them with a smile and headed over to the group of girls that the boy had escorted as soon as the store opened. "I couldn't help but notice that your waiter has left you lovely ladies to yourselves for a bit too long, is there anything else that you would like?" he asked, flashing another charming smile at the group of girls. He decided he would try and use this opportunity to gather a little more information on the boy, more common knowledge that only people that were around him often enough would know.
The girls giggled a bit to themselves, ordering a couple more drinks. Shin scribbled down their orders and leaned in a little, toning down his voice. "I don't mean to push myself into your personal business, but I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit about Taroro," he asked innocently, deciding to use the boy's name instead of his nickname so he didn't sound too familiar with him, "you see, I'll only be here for the day but I would like to get along with everyone while I'm here, and he doesn't seem to like me very much." He finished with a feigned saddened expression, remaining a little leaned down for their reply.
[[ Would you like to act as the girls? c_x;; ]]

《♠Taroro ℕezumi♠》 ___________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ The girls were quickly entertained by the man, giggling more to each other. They were amused that the Haunter was so keen on getting along with the staff. "Aaw, only today?" Complained one, pouting her pink glossy lips. They had expected the man to be a new staff, if that was the case, then they would probably visit the cafe more often than usual. "Anyway, about Roro chan!" Chimed one, clasping her hands together as she said the boy's name cheerfully. She was obviously enthusiastic about talking about the boy, so were the other girls. " He's like a prince~" Sighed the girl, leaning her head against the shoulder of another schoolgirl. "Well you have to treat him nicely!" said another girl, glancing in the direction of the boy. The Rattata was usually quite during his shift. He only talked if he had to interact with the customers or staff. Other than that, he wasn't as chatty as the other waiters. "That's right! He's so mysterious, but I'm absolutely sure that he has a soft side!" "What makes you so sure? I bet he's the cool type." Complained the girl sitting beside the one who had previously made a comment about the boy. "Lets just say I've seen him outside of the cafe before~" The schoolgirl smiled contently at her friend, pleased with her answer. "You did?!" "Oh, sure I did!" She raised her index finger and stuck her nose up proudly in the air. They seemed to be immersed in their own conversation, almost forgetting about the Haunter that was next to them. The school girl continued, " He picked up an injured puppy, right outside my school!" She giggled right after the sentence was said. The others were in awe as the girl boasted.
Taroro, turned his head towards the direction of his "fans", noticing the group of girls delightfully conversing with the Haunter. 'What are they telling that man...?' He questioned himself, curious about the details of the conversation. Could they have been talking about the boy? Fortunately, the girls didn't know much about the staff and their personal life, especially him. They were not allowed to discuss personal matters with the customers and the customers were not allowed to ask. The bell dinged for an order to be served and the boy picked it up. Perfect, it belonged to the table where the gossiping girls were seated. The boy scooped the tray up from the counter and headed to where the temporary waiter and the group of girls were, interrupting them. "Sorry to interrupt your conversation ladies, but your meal is served." He looked at one of them and smirked, hearing the faint squeak of delight the girl had made.____________________________________________________________________________ __ _ _ _ _ _ [[fff; I hope their convo isn't too confusing. xD;; Tried keeping it simple. x u x ]]

"A trickster's smile" Shin nodded a bit as they got lost in their conversation, blinking a little at the mention of an injured puppy. 'A soft side hm?' he thought to himself, trying to keep a small smirk from showing itself. After letting the girls lose themselves in their conversation for a bit, they were interrupted by the subject of their discussion. Shin stood back up, putting on another smile after the boy dropped off their order. "Thank you ladies, and I'll be back with your drinks shortly," he said kindly, glancing at the Rattata briefly before heading off to the area behind the counter where orders were dropped off and picked up. He left the scribbled on note on the counter, leaning against it a bit while waiting for the drinks to be completed, thinking to himself. 'So this 'little heir' has a soft spot for the weak and injured, he thought again, smirking a little to himself this time, 'how...cute.'
The drinks were done shortly and Shin carried them over and dropped them off at the school girl's table, smiling once again before heading back to the counter. He wasn't needed at any of the current tables, and no one else had come in the cafe as of yet, so he had a bit of time to himself. The Haunter glanced over at the boy once again, "I heard something interesting~" he teased, smiling slyly once more in the boy's direction and crossing his arms over his chest. He wouldn't tell him yet, not yet, the same as his purpose for being in the shop right now. He would draw it out, as usual. Shin liked teasing the boy, liked pressing his buttons, his reactions were too amusing not to, he couldn't help himself. The Haunter couldn't help but entertain the thought of working with the boy long term, maybe even working under him when he had succeeded his father. Perhaps sooner? The boy made things more fun for Shin, far more fun than he usually had with his current clients and affiliations.
Shin had only ever worked directly under someone when he had first started out in the city. Ever since leaving that group, he'd always been his own boss. He was wild, playful, sly, and hard to control, most of the time, as he liked to do what he wanted. But if the boy was up for the challenge of being his 'master' or 'boss', he probably wouldn't mind it if it was him. So far, the idea sounded pretty amusing to him. It was something to take into consideration, if the boy would even hear him out after the day was over. The Rattata didn't seem to like him too much, probably because he was just the way he was, but Shin found how opposite they were all the more fun.
