What do you think of the new tipping feature?
I think it's a cute idea, and it's only 25GG, it's a nice little way of donating a smidgen of gold to someones quest or ect.
I wish they had the option in guilds.

I don't really see the point of it unless you can pick how much you want to donate to users instead of just automatically giving 25g. Honestly I would like to see the feature having choices to not have them appear, the button is kind of distracting in the forums.

I don't like it. I can see a lot of problems with it. As in, "This guy hacked me and tipped all my gold!"

I kinda wonder why they added it in the first place. But atleast these mini updates aren't really messing up the system. ><

If I want to tip somebody for their thread, I'll just drop 1000 gold on them in a trade. 25 gold is nothing; you get easily twice that from Daily Chance, and Daily Chance is no longer worth the time it took the artists to draw the pixels to make the cart. It's silly that many of the options you get in forums is not available in guilds. (I STILL want to see a list of my latest posts in guilds as well as in forums.) Plus, even though they added the disclaimer they are BEGGING for people to make threads specifically to beg for tipping. >.<;

I don't really like it. I don't understand why you would want to pay someone for posting something in your thread. If they want people to be able to express a thankful attitude for a post, why don't they just add a 'like' button? And yeah, I am not looking forward to people begging for you to tip them.
"Hey I posted in your thread more than once! PLEASE tip ALL my posts!" scream
I like donations where you can set your own amount and for your own reasons.^-^

I think it's a nice idea but they need a better way of doing it. What's wrong with just a donate button like on a profile or somewhere else. They also need a bank on Gaia so we can keep our gold there and not spend it all the time. These are my opinions and ideas.

The only time I find myself using it is in the arena forum. I can give the critics a tip as a thank you for hard work and there is nothing they can do to stop me. I feel good being able to give them a little something without having to break my bank or having them reject a gift or trade.
Other then that, I'm not going to tip someone just for making a good comment in a forum. My tip? I can quote them and agree with what they said, thus keeping the thread alive for others to give an opinion.
What I WOULD like, is a notification. As it is now, you don't get notified that you have been given a tip. I didn't even realize I had been tipped until I checked one of my posts. I can't do that for every post I make. It isn't plausible. Also, I don't memorize how much gold I have before I log off and 25 gold is a small amount to notice when you get back.

I like the idea, but I do agree with Sailor Uranus, that we should have the option on how much to tip. Or at least a drop down menu with like 6 options, the bottom one being OTHER and we fill it in.
