xHere is where all important news concerning the guild will be posted. The only person that should be posting in this thread is JinkaGuildMaster. The types of things that are considered Big News material would be any guild changes or events.
So keep yourself up to date on your guild news!
Here is your guild happenings summary! Just all the little things. - July 26, 2010: Gorrific donated a guild for the cause!
- July 26, 2010: The Jinka Abyss project began with the help of Shaish.
- July 28, 2010: The PokeJinka Abyss guild opened! With pride and excitement!
- August 9, 2010: The guild was accused of plagiarizing another guild. We say 'If we did, at least we did it better! Ha!' Seriously, we're proud of you guys.
- August 18, 2010: The guild event roleplay contest winner is latianna! Congrats.
- August 22, 2010: The guild event art contest winner is Autopsy Dinner Date! Congrats.
- September 3, 2010: A new subforum was added. Auction Planning. Hurrah!
- September 29, 2010: A minor change in clean-outs has been made.
- October 2, 2010: We began our big Halloween event! 4 contests, plenty of prizes, and plenty of roleplays.
- October 23, 2010: Halloween Soundtrack contest is over.
- October 27, 2010: Shaish is crowned winner of the Soundtrack Contest! Congrats!
- November 7, 2010: The Halloween event has ended. Congrats to all the winners!

The guild is now officially open!
You may now claim gijinka and post threads where ever members are allowed to do such! We encourage you to check out the grand opening event and you are free to make roleplays in that sub-forum and encouraged to join in on the contests.
We hope everyone has a lot of fun with these and it's just a nice way to start off, giving two chances at legendaries to everyone.

Alright, I have a few things to mention in this announcement post.
First off, I would like to remind you all of the two contests that are going on in the Event area. I'm glad to see that the roleplay contest has had such a turn out! And I will be adding second and third place prizes after this announcement.
Secondly, and more importantly, there has been an issue concerning this guild. I was informed of actions taken against my crew and possibly members of this guild because of this guild. I'm sure that you all are already aware of this issue. I appreciate that there has been an avid defense of this guild but at the same time I must urge you all to not provoke this issue any further.
I have messaged Kuro-Mizuki about the issue myself, and I will deal with it.
If you have issues with her guild, those can be taken up with her but if it is concerning this guild then I ask that you let me handle this for you.
And as always, if you need anything you are welcome to message me about it.

I am sending out this announcement because today is the last day for the Grand Opening Roleplay Contest!
New prizes have been added and we've received many entries so far!
This is not only to ask that you enter if you haven't already but to also make sure that you know to check the thread tomorrow (midnight EST time tonight) to participate in the poll. I will be leaving the poll open for two days after the event closes. (So August 13th we will announce the winner!)
Also the Art Contest will be ending a week from tomorrow, with the same length of time for judging. We've only received two entries for it, but I would like to thank you both for the lovely artwork and I hope to see more in the next week.
Also thank you all for your activity in the guild. We are very proud of what this guild has become in the weeks that it has been open so far, and hope to continue to see this kind of growth and activity.

Latianna won the Grand Opening Roleplay contests first place prize, Claiming a Legendary pokemon.
So latianna, whenever you are ready you can post a claim form claiming your legendary of your choice.
There was a tie for third place and so since Gorrific logged in passed the due time for voting we just let her vote be the tie breaker for third. I hope this works for all of you. Trades will be sent out after this announcement.

The Grand Opening Art Contest is finished!
Which also means that our guild has been open for a whole month now!
So anyone that has been with us from the first day can now claim a third pokemon once they have 300 posts in the guild.
(I believe that currently Shaish is the only one eligible but some of you are getting really close!)
I would like to thank you all again for all of the activity in the guild, it's very nice to see.
And thank you to the artists for the wonderful art!

Autopsy Dinner Date won the Grand Opening Art contests first place prize, Claiming a Legendary pokemon.

A new guild subforum was added today. It was the Auction Planning subforum. I have added this to the guild because of how much interest the idea of a guild auction has gotten in the thread started by Sauru. I love the idea and can't wait to see you all get it up and running. I hope that this subforum will help get things going and keep them organized.
Well, just go on and check it out!

We have decided to make a minor change in how clean-outs are dealt with in the guild. The only reason that this was done without consulting all of you first is because it is a minor change that shouldn't really affect anything for the members but instead make it easier for the crew to keep up with active vs. inactive profiles to prevent the hoarding of pokemon.
The change is this, instead of pm'ing all of the three-week-inactive warnings I will be posting up a warning message in the form of a guild announcement. One week from this warning message, there will be a clean-out and any pokemon that has not been posted for in one month will be taken down. If you check your notices this shouldn't be a problem, but it will weed out the pokemon that aren't being used and free them up for members that may use them.
And so this is the first of the warnings. One week from today there will be a clean-out. If you think your gijinka is at risk of being taken down then please post for them or post a hiatus notice if there is some reason that you can't. However, I do not want to see the hiatus notices become used just so that you can sit on a pokemon without posting for them so please don't use them for that reason.
Also, Halloween is coming up soon! We will be setting up an event for Halloween in the next week or so, with a legendary pokemon up for grabs. If you have any ideas for the event then please take them to the suggestions box as soon as possible because we need to get this set up soon.

It's that time again!
If you haven't been posting for a gijinka that you want to keep then you need to make some posts for them in the next week. If you don't think that the gijinka is working out however, and that's the reason for the inactivity, then we encourage you to unclaim them now and claim something you might be able to enjoy more.
In one week any gijinka that have been inactive for a month will be unclaimed.
Also, I hope everyone had a nice Halloween and is enjoying the event that is still going on!

Well everyone, Halloween is over and so our Halloween event is slowly coming to a close.
The contest that were still running are now all closed for entries and open for voting! So get on over there and put in your vote for the three contests.
Also some questions have been asked about what is to happen to the roleplays when we begin work on the Christmas/Holiday Season event. Well, any roleplays that are completed will be locked and moved to the Roleplay area so that your profile can still link to all your past roleplays as a catalog, and any roleplays that are not completely by the time we start work on the xmas season event will be just simply moved to the roleplay area where you may continue.
I hope that helps shed light on how everything will happen.

Alright everyone, the time that we knew would come is now before us. The Halloween event needs to be closed up.
Today all OOC and Art threads that are in the Event Central are being moved to the OOC Room and Art Shack respectively.
On the 6th we will announce the winners of the remaining contests (and congrats to all of you and thank you all for participating)
And on the 7th when we clean out the inactive profiles we will be moving all roleplay threads that are still in the Event Central to the Roleplay Center.
As roleplays are completed they will be locked and moved to the Roleplay Center.
Also, to help us figure out prizes for upcoming events we ask that you vote in this poll, and share your opinions with us. On the 7th, once everything has been moved, we will begin work on the next event.

Well everyone as was said in the last announcement, today is the end of the guild's Halloween event!
We will be cleaning out profiles and the event area today.
Once we've finished cleaning out the Event area we will make it viewable only to crew members so that we can begin work on the next event.
We will most likely be releasing Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years together since they are so close to each other and only the American's will be celebrating Thanksgiving (and we're unsure where all of you live).
But we hope that it is an event that you all enjoy!
