So I have recently become a fan of the show "Huge" on ABCFamily.
I was watching the new episode tonight, and it was movie night.
And it took me all of 2 seconds when their movie started playing to realize...OH GOD. They're referencing Twilight.
Their fictional movie had an opening of some chick walking through a forest monologuing about dead guys and death. Turns out it was called "Phantasma," and was about ghosts instead of vampires. They even showed the "SAY IT b***h" scene and the Bella character crying about how she wanted to be dead too.
AUGH why does it have to seep into EVERY DAMN THING.

It invades everything because it is not only easily recognizable these days, but very easy to make fun of. It's a treasure-trove for satirical screenwriters.

Sauce hit that nail on the head. Twilight is the latest craze, and anything that is popular/ all the rage must be used and abused and sucked dry before a new fad is found and the cycle begins again. xp
On that note, I can't believe I missed the newest episode of Huge. I've been starting to like that show, though I've only seen a couple of episodes. All I can say is my boyfriend can be very distracting and I'm gonna leave it at that. sweatdrop
I've been missing the show Pretty Little Liars, too.

Nara_Neji_02 I've been missing the show Pretty Little Liars, too. I saw one episode and I KNOW who the killer is. Pretty damn obvious. They want to reach a diwer (and denser) audience.

I'm waiting for the breakfast cereal, I mean, we already have the action figures, barbie dolls, clothing, accessories, jewelry, posters, chocolates, I'm sure theres a porn based on it, a sex toy, a manga/graphic novel, soundtrack, stationary sets, bed sets, tote bags, they're really missing a gaping hole in food that is just waiting to be filled... Twi-Fans, if Edward could eat anything, he'd eat BrandName brand blood sausage!

I do prefer Huge to Pretty Little Liars, but when there's nothing else to do on aTuesday night...*shrugs* and I was at FYE music store the other day and I saw Twilight lip glosses. though, I dno't think that's anything new...

It's the girl they thought who died, Alison or whatever. 'A?' Come on! Either that or it was the girl, Aria, with multiple personalities. But then they did an "On The Last Time" and shoes the stalker/blackmailer was in the closet.

I'm surprised they haven't gotten a cereal yet. Seriously, I've seen Phineas and Ferb fruit snacks! ('Course Phineas and Ferb is about 100x better.)

Ugh...The day I see their faces with their crappy "vampire" makeup looking at me in the food product aisles is the day I might just quit leaving my house.(I really hope I haven't just jinxed myself.)
Phineas and Ferb fruit snacks are understandable, though, that's a little kids thing.
