   ♉______ Open Books» Brief Bio: From an early age, Kang had a very strong sense of self-entitlement; his family was neither rich nor influential, but they had their pride and a deep gene pool of physical attributes. Although Kang was never the wisest of pups he was always the strongest and early on he learned that by instilling a healthy amount of fear and pressure you could get just about anything you wanted and so he bullied his way to top. Every father’s father in Kangara’s family were title holding war veterans and so as soon as he was able, Kang too joined the special forces where once again his physical prowess boosted him quickly through the ranks. However, kang was never truly destined for greatness and during his third tour, his platoon was ambushed in the middle of the night. While they came out with minor casualties Kang sustained a serious injury to his ear; part of the cartilage had been ripped clean off and a fierce blow had permanently damaged his eardrum. And though Kang insisted that his hearing was fine, the generals considered this new development too much a liability and he was immediately dismissed. Heartbroken, Kangara returned to Zanzibar to his tail between his legs. It was only after months of wallowing did Kangara come to a startling realization: There was only one thing he knew better than the art of war and that was hot to make one hell of a drink. Armed with this new found expertise he set off to redeem his pitiful existence and re-earn a spot in society.
» Personality: The most concise way to describe Kang would be to call him a smart-a**. He always has something to say and a retort to throw at his opponents. His comments range from goofy to just plain lewd and increase in intensity the more agitated he becomes. Unfortunately, he tends to be extremely moody, often slipping into days of broodish agitation or deep melancholy. When such moods occur it is best to steer clear as he has been known to lash out irrationally at any who get in his way.
Kangara’s life has been run by pride and prowess from the time that he was a young pup, and even now that he is grown he relies on intimidation to achieve his means. This sometimes conflicts with his responsibilities as a Bar Tender as he will not hesitate to personally take a bar offender out. And though he is starting to learn to keep the customers happy he has been known to make scalding comments at the drop of a hat. When it comes to his slaves he is a fair owner, however he rewards failure with harsh words and only the occasional beating. It is his theory that a broken slave cannot wait tables effectively.
If there is anything Kang has a weak spot for it is the ladies. Unfortunately his approach towards them is extremely flawed; he opts for crude statements and arrogant flirting. Despite this front he truly cares about the ladies and will go out of his way to impress them with any suave maneuver he can come up with.

o2. His skull necklace was made years ago by Mei's father specifically for Kangara and is a symbol for conquest over death.

 ♈______ Open Books» Brief Bio: Kapu was born into slavery in the coastal town of Cairo where his family was owned by a wealthy bath owner. He spent long days on the sea collecting shells for his master's decor and longer evenings fixing up the bath house after closing. When he was an adolescent, the bath owner died and Kapu, along with the rest of his family, were transported to Zanzibar to be sold at the black market. Separated from his family and beloved ocean Kapu nearly broke the young male mentally and he began what would be a long journey through countless abusive slavers enduring everything from physical labor to to the pain of a whipping boy. However, he endured everything that was thrown at him by remembering the way the sea lapped upon the shore every time situations took a turn for the worst, and when he had outlasted his current owner, which he always seemed to do, he was satisfied to find himself once more on the slave block stronger mentally then the time before.
» Personality: Kapu is one of your 'strong and silent' type. He is unwavering in his determination to survive and has adapted to outlast just about any situation no matter how difficult. And despite a strong determination to return to the sea, Kapu has learned that in order to survive you must obey. He does what he is told without hesitation, hiding very carefully the defiant spark that tends to flicker constantly behind his eyes.
When it comes to other slaves, Kapu sees himself as almost a fatherly figure; helping the younger souls when he can, keeping other slaves out of trouble. He does so gruffly, scolding others, albeit affectionately, for their short comings. In fact, it is rare that Kapu speaks more than a few words, but when he does they are usually about his homeland or to offer words of hope to the down trodden.
