guessing male since they weren't doing much with genders then(and he was a diaclone figure also I believe) and usually when they were female it was obvious

 It always looks like Laserbeak has lashes.
I'm going to pretend it's a female . . . because if not "it's" a pretty boy.
The Deceptions need more girls.

Maybe, but i think the lashes may be just reflection from light either sun or indoors depending on where lazerbeak is.

Vasto Lorde Kidan i think lazerbeck is a male,for the reason that i don't know if there was any female decepticons in gen1 You're right, there wasn't as far as I remember. Thunderblast only came in for Transformers Cybertron I think.
