I usually don't get terribly excited till December unless I'm working on a particularly long process costume. This year I can't do one that complicated unless the closing on the house I'm getting hurries up.

Most certainly am attending, and have already pre-regged for it. Just hope that I'll manage to get a hotel room reserved for once, since I'm sick and tired of taking the bus to and from my apartment late at night (a.k.a. getting home after 1pm is awful, not to mention the creepiness of walking several blocks in the dark while in cosplay - instant weirdo target).
As always, I'm proudly the coordinator of 2 cosplay photoshoots at the con... the one for Naruto (which badly is in need of an assistant or 2 to help keep things organized, entertaining), and the one for Yu-Gi-Oh (which thankfully will be the 2nd day of the con for 2011, after several years of foolishly holding it on the last day when most folks are often getting ready to leave, etc.).
Going to have a bunch of new cosplays, most of which I'm near completing since I aim to have them done in time for wearing them to AkiCon in November. A clever gijinka-style costume of Miles "Tails" Prower from Sonic the Hedgehog, and young prince Janus from Chrono Trigger. And then there's a 3rd one, which I desperately need to save up money to complete (it's going to cost me $120 for the whole thing... Liechtenstein from APH!).

I'll be going. I really wanted to dress up my daughter as Chopper and myself as Nami... but budgting that in has be next to impossible.
Still who wouldn't want to see an 18 month old going around as Chopper. whee
