Depends. Usually, it automatically makes me think less of the writer/director. It takes a hell of a story for blood sprays to become necessary.

Well I dont mind it but there are times where it can go a little over board. For example: the movie Ninja Assassin was one of those that put out more blood than anything else I've seen in a while. Especially the ending boss fight just one slice on his shoulder and he became a geyser of blood. It was probably animated but if it was not then they probably used over 4 gallons of fake blood for that shot.

especially Zombie movies
i like those
i need to watch them or ill explode

Try reading the Demonata series, Silas. It gets pretty bloody.
I know what'cha mean by going overboard, Blue. This one movie, Evil Dead I think, based on the arcade game, tried hard to be good, but failed epically.

At Cross: For Evil Dead? I wouldn't know, I only watched the one movie randomly.
At Rogue: Me too. If anything I thought up in my head was examined by a psychologist ((I want to have a session with one, one day, just for fun)), they'd probably consider putting me in an asylum... sweatdrop
