Sedricks Theme

Sedrick gritted his teeth as the Elf seemed to work upon his leg, the wound closing quite quickly as it felt slightly irritable, making Sedrick want to scratch it but he knew better, least he hoped. He looked towards the Elf and smiled slightly. "Heh, thanks, Vael, that feels much better!" He stated, running a paw pad over the surface of where the wound once was, it hardly seemed like that big of a scar, but he'd rather not collect too many of them.

His ears perked towards the sound of Ame's voice, his head tilting up towards her as a small smile filled his lips. "Some tea would be greatly appreciated, thank you." Sedrick stated with a happy grin, he didn't really know why but he felt slightly at home here, unusual as to how these things come around. His ears suddenly twitched at realizing the elf would probably want payment as he would look towards the elf, smiling slightly sheepishly. His eyes closed and head tilting to the side, relieving a soft little laugh every so often before reaching for his coin pouch. "So I guess your gonna want payment for that?" Sedrick asked, his voice seeming as sheepish as his look, revealing a rather small bag, hardly seeming like it had much coin in it at all. But it was all Sedrick had, so he would have to make do, or Sedrick will have to probably do a few jobs.

_____________
Doppelganger Jiko

as
{The Elvish Wanderer Vaelnephrin}
Level 1: Spell Sword

Bah, he'd noticed the scar. Jiko chided himself on his weak healing skill, and reminded himself that he'd need to put more time into sneaking into libraries to study the material. In any event, the scar was a special oppportunity: not usually did the doppelganger see special identifying marks.

"Mm, good hot tea after that blasted downpour would be greatly appreciated." The elf ruminated, gazing off into space with a pleasant expression. Sedrick's question drew him out of it.

The elf looked dubiously at his offer: A tiny, tiny bag of coin, easily outmatched by the amount he had wiled in that day. Pitiful, sometimes, how people work so hard for so little when people like him...ah, why even go there?
"No, my furry friend," The elf pushed the bag back at Sedrick, "After this roof over my head and the promise of something warm in my stomach, the only thing you owe me is a good story." That's right. Sedrick's money was of no use to him, but his identity was priceless.

"I've been traveling for so long, all I want to do is sit and talk. And eat. But bars around here, I hear, are...rowdy, and the inns..." He shuddered.

Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,
There is always a danger,
A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame was in the kitchen after getting conformation from both that they wanted tea. She put out a pot of water to boil while getting out her tea pot. She got out three tea cups and some tea bags. She quietly rummaged through the fridge to find something to feed them. She looked at some soup that the land lady had given her earlier that day, the woman said she looked pale and might be sick, although Ame knew quite well what was wrong with her. Her blond hair cascaded in-front of her face as she bent to grab the soup from the fridge.

She grabbed a pot and put that on the stove along with the water before making some sandwiches to go with the soup. She of course would only partake in a little of the soup. She smiled as the water boiled and she poured it into her teapot before putting tea bags in to steep. She hummed lightly as the soup began to heat up. Upon which she grabbed bowls to put it in, along with spoons. She grabbed her honey, sugar and cream for anyone who would like that in their tea. Walking into the living room with the teapot, teacups and saucers along with the sugar and etc on a tray. She set them down on the coffee table and smiled lightly.

"I put some soup on, I think that we might need more than tea to warm our bones," she said smiling lightly as she looked both boys over before she began pouring the tea into cups. She preferred Green tea over any other so that is what she made. She looked at them, "Would you like anything in your tea?" she asked them smiling.

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

Sedricks Theme

Sedrick would blink slightly at the elves request, it was rather unusual that one would ask for a tale for patching someone up, but Sedrick wasn't about to complain. He would think for a moment before his hand reached up to the left of his head, behind his ear, after a few moments of fiddling he pulled out a small wooden carving. It looked like a small feline totem, a piece of finely woven string attached to allow it to be applied in many ways, for Sedrick, he braided it within his mane like hair. His eyes looked towards the small totem for a moment, contemplating if he should tell that short story of the meaning behind such a trinket.

His eyes were filled with meaning as this object obviously meant a lot to him. "This Totem, was given to me by a childhood friend while I was still apart of my Catfolk Tribe. She gave it to me when I was first given the position of scout for the tribe, for good luck. It has been with me for a few years now and so far I haven't had too much bad luck... Well apart from being exiled from my tribe for my ... 'habits'. I have kept it as a simple reminder that, not everyone judges upon such petty things. Before he could continue, the Tea had arrived, Ame placing it upon the coffee table as Sedrick moved up on the couch to give her room to sit. His ears twitching at the sound of the fluid filling the cups, he would see that it was green tea, not exactly something he favoured but he wasn't about to be rude.

He pulled the small drink pouch from his sash and grasped his tea, shaking his head at Ame's offer. "Thank you for the tea and no thanks, I'll drink it as is with my own little added flavour." He popped the top of the pouch, pouring a little of its content into the cup, as the two liquids blended, it became more black then green in colour. A slight smell of alcohol filled the air around the cup as Sedrick would sip the tea, releasing a grateful sigh. "thats heart warming... and the idea of soup sounds like you intend to keep us for the night?" Sedrick stated, twitching his ears, treatment, tea, and now a meal!? it almost seemed to good to be true, but could hardly believe it. Sedrick forgot he was explaining the story behind his totem, as it slipped his mind at the mention of hot food as well as a hot drink.

What a gold mine! If the doppelganger hadn't been quite as good with keeping up appearances, the elf might've gotten caught grinning voraciously. He was instead wide-eyed and polite, nodding along to the story like any good listener, stopping occasionally to sip tea. And on with the promise of a good home-cooked meal! Jiko could hardly remember a happier time.

"You are most hospitable, Miss Tenshi." Vael sang, after her offering of soup. But, there was one variable here that Vael did not like. She had been extraordinarily quiet. Now, Jiko knew well why, but there was also some panicky nagging at the back of his mind that suggested her silence was a product of mistrust. Perhaps, even, studying. She was a wild card, and Vael was not content with allowing her to remain unknown.
"But, we'll have some time until it is done. Care to trade a story too?" He looked to Sedrick. Hopefully, he would support the idea. If not...well, there was no way Vael could comprehend that sort of blind trust.

Bruzon Nightstalker
Night Goblin
Bio-Engineered Chump
(Nobody)

Bruzon would be looking for a nearby Pub, he had accepted another quest. Helping people wasn't exactly his idea of fun but he was looking for something special and this seemed to be a perfect place to find what he wanted... So Bruzon would make his way towards the Inn once he had found the place, dragging a large metal Box behind him and wearing his cloak so that most people wouldn't see what he was exactly. So Bruzon would enter the Inn and look around, he would walk to the Counter and talk "Hellos! I bes here for the Questssss" Bruzon would wait for an answer, he needed to know where he was going first.

PostPosted: Fri Aug 06, 2010 9:16 am

It was a tall, thin man who stood behind the counter, with trimmed, thinning hair that seemed a silvery wisp atop his head. A lanky body with the bridge of his nose holding a pair of wire framed glasses. The left glass was missing, and the right was cracked horribly. His eyes seemed faded, like a lion who had been put in captivity from the wiled, Dark charcoal eyes that long ago lost their luster in life. He was a husk of his former self, occupying his time with the pointless cleaning of an already clean glass. The inn itself resembled the man behind the counter and was empty beyond him and a cloaked man who sat int he corner. It seemed a dark reminder of what had once been the pride and joy of the world. Not nothing more then space taken up on the side of the street, hardly able to keep itself standing.
It was a raspy voice that spoke to the short cloaked man who stood at the bottom of the counter, "You must be the goblin they spoke of, Mr. Nightstalker." The man had to stoop over the counter slight in order to keep proper eye contact, but even so, looking into the mans eyes was to see a blank stare returned. The same raspy voice held a hint of sadness in each sound, "The others should arrive shortly. I suggest you wait until they come. Eat a meal, sleep if you wish. I will not charge you, consider it an act of kindness for those who may be nearer to death then I." a slight hint that he didn't have high hope for success in the ability of the task being completed.

Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,
There is always a danger,
A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame smiled lightly, "Well, to be honest there is no way I could eat all of the soup by myself," she said and shrugged lightly, "It will be warm in a few moments." She looked toward Sedrick and wondered if he too sensed something off about Jiko or if it was just her overall trust issues, but she knew in her stomach something was off.

She smiled to Sedrick, "Well, by all means if you want to go out in the rain to walk to where you are staying get to it," she said jokingly as she looked at the feline with a small grin, "But if both of you would like to hid from the storm until morning when it is supposed to stop I have two very comfortable couches that are calling your names." She stood and got ready to go back into the kitchen to check on the soup. She paused to scratch one of Sedrick's ears and listen to Jiko ask for a tale.

Her pale blond eyebrow lifted and she paused thinking. "Maybe, I will grace you with a tale when I get back from the kitchen," she said and looked at Jiko, "Just let me think of it while I stir the soup, we don't want it to burn do we?" She slipped away and into the kitchen. She stirred the soup quickly before lowering the heat so it was on low so it would simmer.

Thinking about it she thought of a tale she might be able to tell that wouldn't give the other to many hints as to who she is. She wished quietly that this home of her makers one of his many small apartments around the world would have a greater feeling of protection. She smiled as she stirred the soup one more time before deciding on what she wanted to tell, the story she would tell them of her life. The story isn't a lie but it isn't the exact truth either.

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

Sedricks Theme

Sedrick listened to Ame as she spoke about the rain, his head quickly turned towards the window when his ears droop down at the mere sight. he really disliked becoming wet to the bone, considering it was always a chore to get dry without the right objects to provide help for such a task. He would look back towards Ame and shake his head, he really didn't fancy getting soaked again, besides he didn't really have his own place to stay in Riverrun anyway. For the first time Sedrick realized the unusual closed nature of Ame with the presence of Vael, he could understand why, but then again, Sedricks trust and affection was as fleeting as the summer breeze.

His head tilted slightly at the feel of the woman's hand gracing his ear once more, it annoyed him how easily he could be manipulated by such an act, but at the same time he loved the sensation. This was more then clear by his facial expression and relaxing of his shoulders and back, he took note of Vael's request and withdrew slightly about the idea, groaning softly as he rested back against the couch. "I don't really want to make Ame uncomfortable, I don't want her to feel any more burden then she might already be under." Sedrick stated, a slight pout upon his face, he would of liked to known more about Ame as well but he wasn't in a place where it'd seem fair to ask for such a strand of tales.

He feline senses could smell the soup as it heated, this only made his stomach grumble as he sipped his tea to take his mind off the food that was to come. He was usually rather impatient but he really didn't wish to show such a trait while waiting for food offered by the same person who lent him a hand when he rather needed it.

Zev prepared his tea the way he liked it and drank a bit, he then looked towards his stew, A thought then popped into his head. He pored the rest of his tea into his stew and then took the bowl as though it was a giant cup and guzzled it down before you could even blink. Only after Zev placed the bowl down completely empty that he realized his demon hunger had kicked in, proberly due to him not eating for nearly 24 hours.

Zev felt a little embarrassed that he let his demonic side out and for something as small as food, although he did think it did taste rather good, maybe he should try it more often He then looked back towards Elaine and gave a timid smile "Um I'm sorry...I didn't realize I was that hungry, I hope you don't mind me asking for more?" Zev normally wasn't a glutton but when his demonic instincts kicked in he would have to fill himself up, compared to a demons metabolism humans have very little food required to satisfy them.

"Ysrael"
A Human
Just another Nobody

The stray wanderer had soon come across the inn he long searched for since the ferry ride. His hunger definitely kicked back in with his face measely delt behind his mask. Again, cloaked with a visible shield hung over his back, he entered the room and noticed two strangers. One man with his own descriptions of origin, seemingly strange with hsi dark quirks Ysrael might inquire. Not that it disturbed him entirely, but was peculiar of such a race. Next man was actually a man, quite fitting for a plea in description of the quest he had recently accepted. As he stepped forward to the man behind the counter, he allowed one arm to slip out of his shawl before holding up a note.

It read; "For the quest."

Demetri opened the door breathing heavy, slightly flushed. She had run here. "Sorry I'm late," she exclaimed, walking quickly to the man behind the counter. "Demetri Saxtreise."

She looked at the others, a friendly smile on her face, then turned back to the frail owner. "Should I start now?"

Lenny who was still quite aromatic in mental capacity came strolling in just after Demetri. A smile on his face he didn't mind that she had signed up (hell it was my fault I got left behind anyway) without him. He would follow anyway. Besides since he was illiterate he couldn't have signed anyway. He however did not say much of anything instead he walked on following her almost like a faithful puppet. His mind had very little to it. His weaponry all strapped to his back might have been offensive to some. He primarily wore greek looking armor with a large round shield and a long spear that a few may recognize as a phalanx. He also has a gladius strapped to the inside of his shield which no one would see and a second on his belt.

Everything was emblazoned with the designs of terrible powerful looking flames. This wasn't entirely just design but it definitely looked flashy.

xxxxxElaine stared at the man as he gulped down his soup with his tea in it. Geez, he must have been hungrier then she had thought. 'I hope I have enough stew to fill him..' She remembered at least half of it being left. That was probably enough for Zev.. Well at least she hopped it was.

"Sure, just give me a sec."
She took his bowl into the kitchen where she refilled it to the brim, and set it back down in front of him. Returning to her seat, she took small spoonfuls of the stew as she eyed him curiously. Demons were very fascinating to her.

((Sorry if it sucks. x_x I've been so busy with school, and drama that my brain is so fried. D: ))
