The Parents and Children!
Liella and Mareo's children are a result of a one-night stand, fueled by the fire of fermented Valentine's berries! After that faithful night, Liella returned to her forested home, while Mareo retreated to the sea that he so loved. Because she was young and innocent, Liella was a bit heart broken over the affair, fighting to make the decision to try to seek Mareo out again, or forget the whole thing that had happened. But she soon found out that there would be no forgetting--she was pregnant! She kept a cool head about it, relying mostly on her natural instincts throughout the pregnancy, though she secretly missed Mareo. However, when the foals were born, she realized how unready she was to take care of three children. She has decided that it is only right for the father to take at least one of the children, so she is currently planning a trip to the sea to deliver one or two of the foals to Mareo.
THE MOTHER
 Name: Liella Likes: Dreams, Magic, the Forest, Wind, Laughter, Handsome Prince-like Stallions. Dislikes: Anger, Greed, Jealousy, Darkness, Pollution, Hate... etc. Personality: Liella is very carefree and light-hearted. She finds beauty in the simplest things, and often has to stop what she's doing to admire a small flower or a falling drop of dew. She's known to change moods very quickly, but not in a bad way. In fact, she's almost never seen angry or sad. She can come off as distracted and mysterious at times, though at others, she can be very helpful, friendly, and even flirtatious. She loves to sing random tidbits of folklore diddies to herself, or sometimes simply hum a tune. She appreciates nature very much, and sees most of nature as "magical". She is a lover of fairytales and dancing, though her childishness can often make her irresponsible.

Personality of Basket: Well this depends if that baby take after mom or dad. If it takes after dad and has aquatic features it would obviously love water. In and around it. Being more like mom would obviously make it more earthbound. But either way I can see the babies temper being sturdy. Happy, free, playful, bright, adventurous and loyal.
Any Future Plots?: Sure. Family plots, pokesoq plots, basket and foal plots, love, heartbreak, renewal and happiness. You name it I want to RP it.
Why you want this basket: To be honest? I saw this breeding and ogled. And then waited..and waited..and waited just to see the foals. And now they're here and I have the opportunity to maybe own one? There's no way I'm passing up a chance like that!

(Same for male or female; though if male he will be just a bit more rebellious like his father and will go by the name Nyx. If anyone were to call him by his full name he'd be upset. ;3): I see Nyxie day-dreaming a lot. Sometimes that gets her into some trouble, she likes to wander off and encounter new and strange things. Anything out of the norm entrances her. In most ways she takes after her mother, but deep within her the sea calls to her. Nyxie could be one of the foals that stays with her mother and as she grows older (before she's an actual adult) she leaves on an epic quest to find her father and reunite him with her mother. Or she could be living with her father always dreaming about how her mother is, idealizing her image as a fairy princess. Once Nyxie has grown into an adult, she will become an avid story-teller. Perhaps even living in her own fantastical realm, she is a day-dreamer. Why you want this basket: To develop a new character that is different from my current rp babies. Will you hang around the shop?: Yes. I haven't been posting much in thread - or any threads really - lately because I'm trying to catch up on some things from my shop. Username: elvyralani Number of Soquili you own: SevenName of Basket: Caladesi (name of my favorite island biggrin ) Personality of Basket: I see this one loving the water. No matter what it looks like on the outside it will have a deep love for the ocean. Though like the mother, he/she will always stop to enjoy the little life among the ocean. Caladesi's favorite place to hang out around will be tide pools, there are so many awesome creatures that live there! This one would love to live with Mareo and the other sibling then. No matter what the father thinks, he/she will put up a slightly indifferent front to the father for the 'leaving mother' thing. Though Caladesi will actually care what Mareo thinks of them even if they don't look it. That's a little more when he/she is older though. As a foal Caladesi will love to just romp around the ocean or any water and be carefree. Temper would probably be something like, sunny. Any Future Plots?: Since the foal would live with Mareo, I'd love for he/she to find the mother at some point, or the other sibling! Also go on adventures and meet some other waterbased soquili. Why you want this basket: The family is just lovely first of all. I enter these all the time (with no luck) because the idea of getting to input into a plot that is already worked out is nice. I fail a bit at plotting but with more people it's funner. I also can't get over how pretty the baskets are. Personality of Basket: Serene is just one word that would be used to describe their personality. At the same time, much like the waters their father dwells in, there could be turbulent times with their mood but their appreciation for all that is beautiful and life in general would easily be able to settle them back down again.
Any Future Plots?: 1.As this basket will be with the father, I can see the foal or filly wanting to learn much of his/her mother and wanting to visit as often as possible. So something involving visits with his/her mother would be nice.
2. Much of the ocean or any body of water as well as land has yet to be explored and so I can see this little one being a bit of an adventurer and getting into a load of shenanigans of both the dangerous sort and of new found discoveries of treasures and friends.
3. Having a father of the sea and a mother of the land, I can see this foal or filly having a time trying to figure out where they fit in the world. Perhaps influence of their parents, a close friend over even a total stranger could guide them into finding the answer they seek.
Why you want this basket: I'd like to own this basket for three reasons. 1. I'd like to have a chance to interact with thread goers more via rp. 2. I'd love to see what sort of promising plots I could possibly get this basket involved in and 3. I'd like to have the opportunity to add this beautiful basket to my small family.

Female: Leilani {Hawaiian meaning 'heavenly'}

Personality of Basket: {personality will be unisex for either gender}
Leilani is a naive & kind hearted filly who, because of her naive nature, can be easy to manipulate. Much like her mother, she enjoys the finer things in life; taking everyday in stride and sees how each and every day can open up new doors and adventures in her life. She uses her wists and intellect to tactfully take down challenges and situations in her daily life- weather it be tackling a problem that comes her way while going on adventures that needs some thought into accomplishing it or just thinking of a way to get out of some sort of trouble she has caused. Leilani also, it seems, puts her trust into everyone she meets which, in turn, allows other to play on her heart strings ultimately leaving her heart broken in the end [thus referring back to how she can easily be manipulated]. It seems as though there is a soft spot in her heart when it comes to the sea & she has her father to thank for that. When she wants to get away from the fuse and chaos of the real life or just wants to get some a lone time to just think, Leilani likes to go by the ocean and just meditate. She enjoys the peacefulness that the sea provides- just the mere sights, sounds, and aroma- provides a peaceful feeling and in some cases, almost a euphoric high, for the filly; one she uses to just escape into her own little world & think about over thoughts that may be bothering her.
Any Future Plots?: {Same as the personality, plots will be unisex; Very Vague ideas but ideas nonetheless.}
01. Well, what I was thinking is that if she is one of the foals that her mother brings to Mareo to be raised by him, Leilani will go out and search for her mother in hopes to find out why she wasn't in her life. She will ask her father where her mother is, or at least ask why she doesn't have one, seeing how Leilani needs a mother figure in her life growing up. It could be a little reunion of some sort, that can happen by sheer coincidence while she is out on an adventure or because she wants to actually meet her mother. This idea is still a little sketchy and the details clearly need to be worked out a bit more but that's vaguely one idea I have in mind. In the case that she stays with her mother, she will go out and search for her father. To Lei, a family is not complete unless both parents are in her life.
02. Another idea I had, this being when the foal is a bit older of course, is that perhaps she will be manipulated by some male/ female {if basket is male}. They will 'work their magic' on her, pulling on her heart strings and telling her that she was the mare he was always looking for in his life; naively, she falls for their trap. Once they got her hooked, they break not only her heart but takes her innocence as well and leaves her; leaving poor Lei both confused, hurt, and heartbroken. After the incident, she begins to grow wary and cautious of those unfamiliar around her; knowing that she can no longer easily allow others into her life in fear of what had happened to her happen again.
03. Of course, I would like her to meet other soquili that she could be friends with, perhaps even other PokeSoq seeing how her father is one himself, maybe even some soquili that enjoy the peace and serenity that the ocean brings to them as well. I'd be looking for just basically anything and everything else I could think of for this little baby :]
Why you want this basket: I very much enjoy this particular pairing and how they seem to complement on another. I enjoy the soft coloring to the basket as well. I think it would be interesting being part of this family and it would also give me a better chance to develop the foals personality, both plot and rp wise, if chosen :]. Plus, this would be my first soquili and that is something to be excited about, no? Also, I think it would just allow me more convidence when posting in the thread and making new friends; weird but I don't know, that's just how I feel.
Will you hang around the shop?: Of course. I will admit, I have posted in the shop from time to time but because it is so fast pace, I tend to be more of a lurker then anything.

Name of Basket: Lachrimae - Which means Tears in Latin
Personality of Basket: Headstrong.
Lachrimae would be a very headstrong Soquili in which she would fight for what she believes in and try and make her ideals real. In this she takes after her Father. At the same time she would see the Magic in the world and want to explore it. So all in all a slightly imbalanced but fun Soquili.
Any Future Plots?: Lachrimae would be living with her Mother and therefor would never know her Father. I am sure that she would want to and would decide one day as an Adult to find him and get to know him. I can see this becoming a Grand Adventure for her and her having the time of her life rediscovering the family she never knew.
Why you want this basket: Because I believe that I could be a good owner of her. Always RPing her and making sure she would be very well put to use and not forgotten.
Will you hang around the shop?: I am usually a lurker in the shop but still pop up and strike up a good conversation when I can.
Will you RP, at least lightly?: I love to RP and should I win this Basket she would be heavily Role Played whenever I have the chance.

Personality of Basket: His or her main traits would be understanding and chraming. This caring Soquili’s mind would wander though, causing him/her to never stay around other for too long. Would be protective, but stays clam headed and almost witty about the situation.
Any Future Plots?:
going with father :: Asking question while younger may make the father question his true feelings for their mother. It may bring the whole family back together.
going with mother :: As a child the mother would worry about her foal/filly wandering…this could enable them to meet plenty of interesting Soquili. Also eventually catching tale of the sea would make the foal wonder more and more of there father. Eventually they would take the journey to their father, but the question was there fantasy about him to great? Was it not what they expected? Now it’s time to choose the sea, go back to mother or… start their own life.
Why you want this basket: It would be my first basket and I think it a gorgeous basket to start out with. The more I write, the more I love what I’m creating/////
Will you hang around the shop?: Yes, so much. The only reason I don’t hang out is cause I feel weird not rping with everyone.

Name of Basket: Camille if it's a girl. Adrien if it's a boy.
Personality of Basket: Well it's gonna be much like it's parents with a twist. It'll be the rock, watching over it's siblings. Kind but strong. When the foal is alone, it'll be carefree often just enjoying the world like it's mother. Beauty is something it sees in everything, it wants to know and see all the beautiful things in the world and so will travel far when older to see such things. It has a strong fire hiding in it's heart much like it's daddy. And will use it when it comes to keeping it's family safe, no matter what the cost.
Any Future Plots?: Well I was figuring that maybe this basket could be one of those left behind with the dad. But maybe the foal can't go in the sea like it's father, and so will be sort of like an outcast having to stay always by the shore. The foal will always wonder if it'd be better with it's momma finally the little one can't take it anymore and takes off on an epic journey to find it's mother. Along the way it will meet lots of people (Most likely like 5-6.) Before coming across her. Where I'm sure Liella will take back in the foal. Along the way it'd meet other foals, kalonas, winds, and some weirdos. Quite the learning curve for her. Maybe daddy could come after the foal, meeting back up with momma?
Or if the foal stays with the mama it'd be another story. The foal would love the water, always wanting to be in it. It'll someday down the road will find a best friend in a under water soquili. Soon with best friend following the two will go off looking for daddy, just to see what he's like. Where who knows how it'll turn out. :3 All up to Mareo's owner.
Most likely more plots, but I can't think of any right now.
Why you want this basket: Because I love blue! <3 And I love Liella, I've been watching to see what came of this breeding ever since I saw they got a slot. And to own one of these lovely baskets? I'd be so honored and love it to death!

Raisa; for a girl:
It's derived from the Greek word ραιον (rhaion), meaning "more relaxed." I picked it because I was trying to find a name that would fit both mother and father. Despite their differences, both parents share a common trait of doing things that make them happy, whatever that may be. Mama has a calm, serene, carefree and relaxed personality, while Papa has a more rebellious, yet seemingly still light-hearted and relaxed attitude.
Kahia; for a boy:
Since "Leilla" means "night beauty" and "Mareo" means "rare," I wanted to find a name that meant both of those things. "Kahia" is a Native American name meaning "rare beauty."
Personality of Basket:
Somewhat a hopeless romantic, but at the same time quite stubborn. Once he/she believes something, they will want to hold onto that belief until the end, and it will take quite a lot of convincing to get them to believe otherwise. This provides for quite the loyalty, but at the same time can be used more negatively. However, they will be strong-minded like Papa, yet quietly light-hearted like Mama. Most likely they'll inherit the same sense of whimsy, but in a more roundabout way. They'll want to go exploring and to discover new things, except a surprising sense of clumsiness will somewhat hinder their attempts at this. But they are determined, and will get right back up after falling down. A good heart, an honest one, but sometimes too honest and can, unfortunately, be quite too blunt at times. They'll probably need to learn to use a little tact, eventually.
Any Future Plots?:
Oh, My Prince (any age): Being the hopeless romantic that they are, despite their young age they will be determined to find their "one true love~!" and go off a-searching for them. However, clumsiness + cheerfulness + stubborness = ....quite the adventure. And a lot of mishaps, misunderstandings, and missteps along the way.
Why Yes, I Do Know What That Word Means (foal): Being the adventurous, ambitious and cheerful young thing that they are, they will most likely be attempting to initiate themselves into several friendships. However their lack of tact will make this somewhat difficult, and could potentially result in quite a few enemies. However, I'd like for them to try and come up with a way around this and be able to interact successfully with others.
Mother, May I? Having been raised entirely by their father, they would probably not be all that interested in finding Mama, only because they've had a good life so far. However, it might be interesting to either have the mother seek out finding them, or perhaps just accidentally stumbling across each other one day. I don't see this as hugely serious, however; more lighthearted and somewhat comical, seeing as this particular child is not exactly known for being delicate.
Learning Curve: The very obvious fact is that their father is a water-loving Soquili (and there is a good chance they will be a kelpi-type breed themselves). So one day Papa!Mareo takes his children swimming...only to find out something truly disturbing - one of his children does not, in fact, like swimming. At all. In fact, they're a teeny tiny bit afraid of the ocean and refuse to learn to swim or even come close to it. This could make for a very interesting relationship with their father and siblings...
Why you want this basket:
I love any chance to develop a new character, whether it be human or cat or horse (although I probably would draw the line at bugs). I'm ridiculously attached to RP'ing and writing (not to mention Soquili itself) and I would love an opportunity to come up with something different than I normally would. =)
(A completely random reason is that I run a rather large Pokemon gijinka roleplaying guild and one of the gijinka's I roleplay is a Kyogre; I found that somewhat amusing). ;P

I see Miril as a lover of water, but longing for the forests of her mothers side. She wants to go on adventures and see the world, especially to find her mother someday. But also doesn't want to leave her father alone after he's cared for her so long. I see her as a very soft and caring Soquili, maybe even a healer of the heart type and basic herbs should the need arise. Although around new adult Soquili she can be rather shy. However once you get to know her, she opens herself up more, especially around other foals. Very much a day dreamer as well. Any Future Plots?:01: Overcoming shyness: As a foal Miril is very shy around adult Soquili. One day her father introduces her to a friend of his, and she's so interested in how different he looks she can't help herself but try to come out of her shell. 02: A Healers touch, new friendship: Another as a foal. Miril is out playing near the shores of her fathers ocean territory when she discovers a hurt foal near the rocks. Not exactly sure what to do she tries her best to help him/her the best she can. This would be her basic introduction into becoming a herb healer. 03: Best friends: A continuation of plot 02. After the day she helped the foal at the shore she meets them again. They're wanting a partner to go exploring the caves nearby and ask her to join them. An introduction to her adventurous spirit like her father. 04: Growing pains: As a young adult Miril wants to branch out a bit more from her fathers territory. But she also doesn't want to leave him by himself should she decide to leave later. This would be a heart to heart between her and her father. 05: What happened to my mother?: Miril doesn't remember much about her mother, just that she was very beautiful and kind. She decides to ask her father about her and after that conversation decides that she might want to try and find her on the other side. A somewhat interpersonal rp that goes into what she'd like out of life. 06: Adventures Beginning: After talking with her father she's made the necessary preparations for leaving, as much as it hurts her heart to leave the father that's cared for her so long. He decides to give her a small seashell necklace as a parting gift. And as she's leaving she makes a decision to come back as soon as she can. The call of the sea rings in her ears through out this time. (I have a lot more too. The more I type the more I fall in love with the story. Hope my ideas aren't too long. ^^; ) Why you want this basket: The parents are so intriguing! When I saw them I was immediately drawn to the odd beauty of the pair to be honest. x3 Will you hang around the shop?: I'd most certainly be more active, especially since I'd have more people to rp with. I feel that would fit her for many of those things. Being ruled by a water sign or drawn to water would be a connection to her father. She'd be very bright for one so young, yet longs for something she can not quite grasp. Be it family ties or a special friend to help her understand certain things that escape her sight as she currently stands.Male-Again phrasing from my book "....Amber brings to mind, one who is pale, thin, durable(yet soft), natural, tempered by life experiences, an ancient soul, one with a connection to trees and their well-being; a slow moving, thoughtful person; a well grounded person......has a connection to ancient life and its gentle glowing, golden appearance. From this I gather he would be a kind soul, but in his youth confused and somewhat hurt by his parents separation. He would be one that would rather stay near the forest like his mother, but would still have the curiosity to know more. As he ages he grows more patient and understanding and it teaches him a great deal about who he wants to be. He would be a bit carefree and Not quick to judge others....He'd be sensible and firmly rooted in all he does, would not jump to conclusions(look before he leaps)Any Future Plots?:Female
-in instance she stays with mom- Marina is drawn to water and knows not of her father, maybe she saw him once, but she can't remember. She has an affinity to water so she ventures out one day and comes across a strange male who seems somewhat familiar. Possibly she asks for him to teach her to swim she has never been near water all that much. Maybe after a long day of conversing and teaching Mom comes looking and the two 'bump heads' so to speak.
-Stays with dad- Marina loves the water and never wants to leave, but one day a new foal(or adult-either stage would work) nears the edge of where she lives with her dad. A little unsure about the stranger she watches and as they drink from the water she approaches from the other side....Upon getting closer she knows they look familiar and kinda favor some of the same physical features. Then either she or the other could realize it's a sibling......would they go home to mom together for a visit, or would the other meet dad...who knows...could go either way.
-with mom again- Marina is a smart foal and understands much of the world around her. But, the one thing she doesn't understand is that she has no father. She knows there is one and knows he left after an odd night happened between mom and him, but she occasionally gets depressed about...she knows he didn't leave because of them, but she wonders why she isn't the one who lives with him...is there something wrong with her-was she not good enough? She would eventually seek him out and try to learn the answers, even if there are none.(could happen when she is older and has more freedom)Male(either way would have distaste for Dad)
-staying with mom- He hates his father for up and leaving his mother, but he doesn't understand why and knows his mother still hurts when it's brought up. He is patient for a foal and leaves it at that, but as he gets older and(he or his other sibling(s) start to favor him he decides to seek out his so called father to finally get the answers.
-staying with dad- He would be distant from him and ultimately stay clear of water other then for basic hygienic needs. He would much rather stick to the trees, that's where he feels at home. One day he sees a new foal(stallion, or mare) come to the river to drink. While safely hidden in the shadows of the trees he notices that this was one of his siblings. He has a very good memory of things since past. Even with the changes in their growing he knew he could sense it. He thought this was his chance to get away from his father and see his mother again and be amongst the trees in the forest.....will dad follow after awhile or some other chance happening occur....-M or F/w mom or dad but as a Foal- I think it would be interesting to have them run into my Einar(Wow Nightsaber skinwalker) in the woods. They were either out searching for answers, or just wanting to get away. They stay out and wander into a part of the woods unfamiliar to them, darker. Ultimately Einar catches sight of them and almost pounces, but sees it's a your filly/foal. He does have standards. The young could maybe widen his view of things a bit and maybe give him a taste of what it will be like when has kids of his own......interesting things could come of this little encounter...(this one is kinda a shot in the dark for me...my inspiration isn't behaving smile Why you want this basket: I've never won/owned a basket. And I also love the 2 parents I've always ogled at them....I think it would be really fun and interesting to develop him/her with family situations and other future encounters.Will you hang around the shop?:I'm already there Will you RP, at least lightly?:Yes, probably more so.Do you like the color blue?:Blue is my fav color-you have no idea(old room was an ocean theme with a orca and dolphin wallpaper mural(Christian Reese Lawson) I love blue and water related things!! heart The plot ideas could be better(rough drafts I guess), but when I started typing what I originally had for both faded(I always suck at rp contests and the sort-my inspiration always leaves me), but the sky is the limit with any. smile
