The Queen of web weavers guided them. She, who knows all and crafts her web of excellence was their idol. They were killers disguised as simply weaver. They sought only the best, only those blessed in the form of the idol. The female form, the other were merely tools to continue the survival of the superior. This was the Order, that young Shurxena was bought into. She was like the others; taken, bought, or born into the Order to be trained and taught they're ways. The isolated, young females were force under the heels of harsh, cruel, and sometimes insane teachers. They studied the art of theft, assassin work, poison and weaving, under the belief that Lolth the great Spider weaver, who wove complicated intricate webs of death and chaos would bless them with great power. Shurxena and others were suppose to be taught to trust only your fellow sisters, though Shurxena had learned differently. As they're elders fought for power, so the young fought to be recognized. Shurxena learned that only the cunning were survived, and the weak were steps for those smarter. She and a few other young drowess whispered amoung themselves planning they're raise. They promised other drowess position and power in they're aid. Only to kill them in interesting ways later. They via for power was nearly complete, each one planning to finish off an elder (a tradition in the Order) so that they can take they're place. However before they could act, they were betrayed. One of they're own had ratted them out. However, Shurxena like the others had plans for that. In no time a deadly silent battle for power started. Members dropping dead at odd moments daggers in they're backs. Shurxena adored the chaos, despite the danger to herself. She plotted and persuaded, all the time planning her escape. She knew that her chance for power had vanished and once she was sure that she had wipe all traces of her being there, she fled. Thus that chased after her, were quietly killed. She switch from one caravan to the next, looking for a place worthy of her talents. Eventually, after a close call with old rival, she dyed her black. In time, she found the city of Ulorbbath and quickly went about find a suitable home.

She is a quiet personality. She can slip between the cracks or appear very unimpressive. Though don't let that fool you. She is able to remain calm in seas of chaos and even enjoy the danger. She will never play second to a male, they are never worth.

She does know how to use the basic drow magic (faerie fire, etc)
She is rather nimble and quick despite her stoutness.
She has great hand to hand combat
She is an expert at cloths, weaving, sewing, and needle work.
She is pretty good at creating traps by using her threads and knowledge of poison (only in area's she has been in before).

Combat Weakness:
If you were to take away her knives and thread she is powerless. She will fight hand to hand, but against a sword, crossbow she can't do much other then hid. She stands no chance against real warriors or archers in places she hasn't been in before. And once cornered, she will try to fight hand to hand, but will most likely die.

So far, I'm really liking this character.

One thing that I definitely need more information about is the threads...how exactly do they work? How are they created? What types of practical application do they have? What varieties do they come in?

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you.To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair.

If your talking about the thread she has on her. I put it down as a weapon...cause it looked really bare with one thing there.
I have put some thought in to them:

how exactly do they work?
>> The are cords to connect her to her thrown knives. Since she has so few, she really needs a way to keep them after she throws. The poisonous one, is actually more acidic so it burns. She doesn't use it though, since she lack the tools to make it more and doesn't have the gloves with which to hold it.

How are they created?
>>I was thinking rothe since its use in most clothing, yet should be tough enough to withstand. Several thin strands are coiled very tightly together. These coils are then braided into a thread. Its takes a certain amount of pressure, which is what a drop spindle is for it creates the thread from the fibers of rothe (or whatever material she could be using). And since she knows how to make one thanks to all her training. When they wear out, she uses them else where. She can uncoiling and the recoiling them with newer stronger strands of rothe to keep them from completely breaking. Though she doesn't have to use them often.

What types of practical application do they have?
>>Outside of keeping her knives attached to her. They can be use to hold items together and then to her. The thinner more worn out ones are used to seal up cuts in her cloths.

What varieties do they come in?
>>She has two types. One, is poisonous and she doesn't use, unless she has no other option, since she doesn't have all the tools to make more or the gloves to hold it. And of course the common rothe thread/cord that she has.

To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

And mine.

Okay! I've edited her to fit more with area, since the need for a maid is rare.
I've changed her to an Assassin. I know there are problems.
However, just a heads up. I couldn't let go of my interest in my little Order of nutcases.
However now they are all cloak and dagger, which actually makes more sense. That weird to say, but its true.
I think I might actually create a house for them, but then again that might be a bother. Anyway, please come and hack my character to piece.
Oh and thank you to Raziel and Veldrin, your character profiles were very helpful with getting the basics of the assassin down.

I see nothing wrong with her...you've still got my approval.

Also, you're quite welcome. I'm glad to be of assistance, be it directly or indirectly.

Um...is no one going to second that approval? I just want to know if there isn't, and then be told what I need to fix. So, if someone could second or correct it would be nice. Thank you for you time.
