The world was so much brighter once he had taken the initiative to come out of the basket that had held him for so long. Wicker walls was all that he knew for so long that once the lid had slid off and he opened his eyes he had been blinded by what he now knew was the sun. Brown was a rather dismal and boring color when compared to the green stuff, grass he had been told, and when he had looked above he saw that something had been falling on him that was made up of an amazing color. The sky was what had seemed to be falling. And it wasn’t falling at all, it just stayed above him, with a fluffy white thing passing by every so often.
Teagan was now used to the grass that swayed and the sky that never moved. Out of his basket now he allowed his bright blue eyes to gaze around the area. The green was ever present, swaying gently on the ground or rustling behind him in the trees that he had left behind. A few puffs of white lolled by in the sky that never ended, and the sun shone down upon him with such a heat it made him sweat. The plains loomed in front of him and he decided a trek was in order.
He looked behind him at the shallow part of the river where he had crossed but distraction caught him as he stared at the spots adorning his body. He looked good! He couldn’t see much of himself in the stuffy basket but when he had gotten out and after he had taken in his too bright surroundings he chanced a look at himself, and he liked what he saw. He had seen his father and mother next, seen them both smiling at him and the emotion called love had shown in their eyes. Upon staring at his other two siblings that had just come out of their wicker baskets he had realized that this was his family. His mother told him that his older siblings were wandering and he would meet them soon enough. But now Teagan wondered where his sisters were and if they were enjoying their life outside the basket as much as he was.

Ah! It's so good to finally be out of there! She thought with a stretch of her wobbly legs. The small filly turned and sniffed at, what she had been told was her basket, now apparently too bit to fit inside it. Her attention was on the vessel that had imprisoned her for so long, until two larger creatures approached her. They must be her parents. She deduced this as she inclined her head to peer up at her mother and father. There, she was nuzzled and welcomed to the world, followed by having her questions answered. Well, most of them anyways. Though she felt that her parents was full of that emotion they called love for her, their attention was drawn away when her siblings started walking around their now empty baskets, which didn't sit well with the little filly.
Still having more questions the newly dubbed Sayan hobbled after her parents. Once she caught up, she lipped at her mother's tail and tugged it gently, trying to gain her attention again. Instead, she got a flick with the same tail and told a gentle, but stern 'Not now.' Not liking the feeling of not getting her way, she let out a small whine as she stamped her hooves in a tiny tantrum. Yet again, she grabbed her mother's tail but giving it a firmer tug this time around. She was welcomed by a firm rebuff of a n**, causing her to reel back some before standing there, confused. Not wanting that to happen again, she let out a small huff and roamed off to a river that was nearby.
Some time later, her short legs managed to carry her to the object she didn't know of at the time. Lowering her head, she went to sniff at the clear fluid that seemed to be moving. When she did this, her nose dipped into the water and she quickly tossed her head back. What is that?! It was cold and... and... well, it was cold. Her golden eyes peered at it curiously before realizing that she had company. Looking down the river, she saw her brother standing in the odd stuff. She then wondered if her sister would soon join them.
