Setting: Medieval England
Land Development: Well developed, prospering well with crops and livestock.
Story: A war had torn the land apart, bringing forth new beings that the world had never seen. They were in all forms having scales, vines, other material on their skin and body. Humans then built a wall to keep the creatures at bay and away. It stands well over 10 feet tall and travels well over 200 yards in length from boarder to boarder through countries to keep the creatures from killing humans. If any were to make it over the wall somehow they would be seen and shot down, the guard tight to ensure everyone's safety. The land of humans had been peaceful besides a few small skirmishes. The side of the creatures was a battle to survive each day depending on who ruled over them all.

Bio: She is on the creature side of the wall. Though she doesn't know how she had got there as she knows she is human. All she remember is her name in pinyin with no surname to call her own. She doesn't also understand how she still lives after fourteen long years of hard life. She doesn't eat much and when she does, it is very little. The rest of her life is a blur.

She grew up looking around trying to find a family to accept her as she is.

Starting Introduction: It was said a meteor tore through the sky and slammed into the Earth, bringing forth creatures only spoke of in a bad child's nightmares. Others say the creatures came from our sins as humans. Another rumor for how they came to be is said they came to punish us for allowing weapons to become our life and for forgetting what truly matters: Life. Legend was written by Priests and Priestess of the Churches that the creatures were created by the Devil himself, sent to Earth to challenge the people's faith in God to gain Himself more Followers to bring the Earth into Hell's Domain. No one knows the true reason for the creatures appearance after the war had occurred. There was simply speculation and guesses but nothing to solidly decide where the creatures came from and how long they would be there as many hoped they would simply leave in time but that has proven itself pointless in hoping.
The creatures were there to stay as long as the humans if not longer they would stay on the planet. Be they from the Devil, meteor crash, our sins, or any reason they were not simply going to vanish through any simple means. The humans knew they could not take down the creatures so easily only kill a few who could make it around, over, or under the wall but that was all they could do as they were nothing compared to the creature's numbers. The humans were greatly out numbered and they also knew they were nothing to the creature's magic and powers. Only the weak fled to try and find safety among the humans but would always only find death on either side and to be hated by both their own kind and the humans.
The humans were ruled by a powerful queen who ruled without a man by her side but was in danger of losing her crown to a man who wished to take rule. She had been fighting the council for days on end to keep her crown and place on the throne. The land was growing and thriving greatly with her on the throne as none were going hungry or homeless whereas with the previous ruler there had been beggars in the street, children starving, parents trying to get by to keep their homes. The land was not flourishing with life or jobs for any. She took the crown and created jobs for everyone, opened a school for the children, helped to get the land nourished and flourishing with life.
On the creatures side of the wall it was survival of the strong. If any were weak they were simply over looked. If murdered the murderer was never searched for and punished. There were slaves on the creatures side unlike the humans side that had no slavery or none that was ever on record. Their ruler held no tolerance for failure, executing anyone he wished to just for sheer amusement. People lived in fear there of being killed if they held not the power to fight back against the guards but those who could only feared those who's power outmatched their own.
Their land flourished with crops and some livestock as well. There was no uncommon actions if a demon was killed by other demons for a meal as a few would kill their own kind. If any humans were on that side it was because of a slip in the guards and a human was taken over by one who sold slaves and ensnared the human into slavery. If this took place the human in question would never be found.
"Hey! Stop thief!" A merchant yelled on the creatures side of the wall. Soldiers ran after a young Centaur that ran quickly, carrying an arm full of bread. A young boy moved out creating a strong barrier spell that caused the guards to run into the other bringing out a laugh from the mage boy. He ran after the centaur leaping on his back and they rode off. They were out of sight, turning and hid down an alleyway and inside an old house.
"That was close. Thanks Ryo." The centaur said panting. Ryo shook his head.
"It was nothing. We should keep going. We gotta get this food to the others that are waiting on it at the hideout." He said and the centaur nodded, following Ryo down the alleyway deeper before he touched the ground and hidden stairs appeared, letting the centaur go first down the wide stairs so he could easily walk down them. He walked nodding and went down. Ryo followed behind and closed the passage behind them and torches lit the way down and down the hallway where there were six doors, three on each wall, then a steel door in the middle at the end of the hallway. There were three beds in each room and a few sofas in the main room where they were headed.
Upon entering Ryo look around as the centaur went to the center placing the food down on the good sized around table. "Hey, we brought back food everyone." He called out not knowing who all would be there for lunch. A young girl and boy came running out, racing up and grabbed a long loaf of bread, breaking off what they wanted and went over by the fireplace to eat.
"Thanks Syku!" both said at the same time being twins excited to have food again. The centaur laughed.
"No problem." He said laughing and looked around tearing off some of the bread for himself before cutting up the loafs of bread up into eight pieces each and divided up fruit from a bag as well so the food was there for all to see and take what they wanted. "Did you get the water Ryo?"
"Sure did." Ryo said as he was in charge of water, each person assigned a job to collect food and drink so they could stay alive. Ryo walked over to the table, using a spell to make ten water sacks appear and put them down on the table at an opening. They were not slouchy but firm as thought they were in a container thanks to his magic upon the leather hide.

Brandi was curled up in a corner in her shifted form of a jet black wolf, sleeping. Of course when her ears heard a Centaur come back followed by a kid, she woke up due to the noise that most of the other people in the house were making as they headed over to claim a chunk of bread or a piece of fruit for themselves.
After not being able to sleep any longer she got to her feet and stretched a little before she shifted back to her human form, thankful that her clothing shifted with her, where she could pass from wolf to human and would still be clothed. She walked over to the table where the bread and fruit was an took an apple. "Nice job on getting supplies." She said quietly before she turned and walked back over to her corner.
It was pretty obvious that Brandi was an odd girl. She hardly ever spoke to anyone, unless she was spoken to and she spent a good majority of her time as a wolf, only shifting long enough to get a piece of food or to help carry something and then she was right back to being a wolf. It was also because she spent so much time as a wolf, that she had different ideas on how they could get some food other than bread and fruit, but she never brought them up because she never had anyone to tell them to.
After she got back to her corner, Brandi shifted back to her wolf form after she had sat her apple on the floor, which was surprisingly rather clean compared to what it should've been. She laid down with the apple between her paws and began eating it, proving even more to everyone, that she was a strange girl.

Ryo looked over at Brandi and walked over, kneeling down. "why you always in wolf form? why not be in human form like the rest of us?" he asked always curious about her for some unknown reason.
"Aw don't bother her when she's eating Ryo that's rude." Syku stated firmly.
"Quiet Syku I'm having a conversation." He retorted before Syku shook his head rolling his eyes with a sigh. A few more had came up to get food, a girl giggling who had a crush on Syku ran off with bread and fruit giggling the entire time getting water as well.
"Would you want some meat? I might be able to get some from the stands once it quiets down out there since the guards are already on alert." He said before thinking, focusing very hard. Meat outside in the market rose slowly before vanishing from sight. It appeared before him floating and fell to the floor. Ryo began to pant softly and sighed grinning.
"Didn't expect it to work that well. Never done that spell before." He admitted smiling wide, pleased with himself. Syku looked over nodding.
"Nice job. Now maybe you can help us keep from being arrested by doing that spell on lighter items?" He asked laughing. Ryo rubbed the back of his head at Syku's words.
"I can't do it all the time. It's hard."
"Yea yea whatever you say Ryo." The girl with the crush on Syku said waving her hand in the air not believing him.

Brandi looked up from her half eaten red apple, when she was approached and spoken to by the kid that had come in with the Centaur. She swallowed what was in her mouth before she spoke. "I prefer being in my wolf form because I'm more comfortable in it than my human form." She said quietly. It had taken her years to figure out how to do it, but she had managed to teach herself how to speak human while in her wolf form.
She then looked at the Centaur that had scolded the boy who talked to her. "It's alright. He's not bothering me." She said then looked back at the kid in front of her and listened to what he said. True, it was only natural that a wolf would want meat, but Brandi felt that it was unfair for her to get something special to eat when everyone else didn't, but before she could say anything the kid had already made meat appear from out of nowhere.
Brandi looked from the meat to the kid in front of her and back, before she looked at the kid again. "I don't really think it's fair that I get something like meat to eat, when everyone else has to eat bread and fruit." She said. "It was a kind gesture none the less, now if you don't mind, I would like to get back to my apple, before the air makes the white part turn brown." After that she went back to eating the apple she had gotten.
She knew that she probably seemed rude or ungrateful to the boy after he went through all the trouble to get her meat, by turning down his offer, but she felt that it was better this way because she would be doing things like everyone else.

Ryo nodded. "I will bring more then." He said focusing as more meat began to vanish from the market and appear inside their hideout, appearing on the table. Once enough showed for them all he began to use a fire spell to cook the meat perfectly. The twins ran up shocked to have meat. Syku cut up the meat into pieces for everyone.
"Thanks!" the twins said in unison, racing off with it excited. The girl was also excited giggling and blushing taking off with one piece as others did as well. Ryo looked to Brandi grinning and fell back on the floor, out of breath.
"There, that work?" he asked grinning. "do you want your meat cooked or just raw?" he asked curious smiling. "I have some power left to cook it for you if you'd like."

"I was fine just eating the apple." Brandi said. "Though it was nice of you to bring meat in for everyone else, aside from just bringing in some for me." Brandi got up and picked up her apple core and walked over to where there was a trash bin, and place the apple core in it, before she returned to her corner where she had been laying.
She carefully, picked up the meat he had originally brought in and laid back down in the same exact spot she had been laying in before, and placed the meat between her paws and left it there. She didn't bother to take a bit out of it. "I usually eat it raw, and thank you for doing what you did." She said as she looked at the kid, who someone had called Ryo. "Tell me something, why did you do it though ?" She asked.

Ryo blushed rubbing the back of his head. "Well uh...um..." he blushed more rubbing the back of his head more forming flowers behind his back and held them out to her. "Here, these are for you. I have...a small crush on you." He said nervously sweating badly.
Syku laughed watching this. "Oh man, Ryo is facing up to his secret crush." he laughed walking over to by the fireplace and began to eat after he had grabbed himself bread, fruit and meat, eating by the fireplace as he knelt down to sit and eat.

Brandi was surprised to hear what Ryo said, but at the same time she was thanking her lucky stars that she wasn't in her human form at that moment because she knew that she would have been blushing like crazy had she been human.
"I....uh....er...don't really know what to say, but, um, thanks for the flowers." She said looking from the flowers to Ryo, and back before she debated about shifting or not. She shifted back, long enough to accept the flowers and place them in cup of water, before she sat the cup down in her corner, then shifted back to being a wolf again. The entire time she was human, her cheeks were a very dark pink color.
When she heard Syku's comment Brandi looked over at him, recovered from the awkward embarrassment from a few minutes ago. "Oh, hush up you." She said. "I think it's kind of sweet." She looked back at Ryo, before she walked over to him and nuzzled him. She stopped close by his ear and whispered. "I kind of have a crush on you too." She said then went back to where she had been laying and laid back down. She gave him a small wolfish smile, and then started eating some of the meat he'd brought to her, so that it wouldn't go to waste.

Natalie was lying down resting her chin on her knees, her hands hugging them tightly. It was cold. The wind battered against her frail body wrapped in thin clothing. Her feet were bare and bleeding from the jagged stones on the ground. Her black hair, tied loosely by some string to keep away from her dark eyes, drifted lightly in full control of the wind. She stayed upright by leaning against the building.
A building in the creatures side. From the moment she was born she had realized she wasn't meant to be there. Surviving only just by a bit. Natalie was a human. She was in an alleyway and not seven minutes had passed since she last saw a boy who was a few years older than her, at least in appearance, and a centaur.
Seven minutes ago Natalie pressed herself firmly against the building, blending in with the shadows. Not knowing if they would harm her or help her. She turned her head after them believing they would come back. The alleyway only had one entrance, and the buildings there had long since been abandoned.
After three minutes she relaxed, but still on guard. She didn't much care if they didn't reappear.
Another minute had passed before she got up and walked off towards the direction they headed. She looked side to side to see where they went. Everything was normal. Then Natalie passed an old house.
Something wasn't right about the old house. It took her a while to figure out what was different about it. The door was left ajar. She went inside and figured that the centaur and the boy had stayed there for a while. Hoof marks and footprints lay imprinted on the dust filled carpet. But they weren't leading elsewhere except from back out.
Walking back out of the old house, closing the door behind her, she walked deeper in the alleyway. Her footsteps were quickly skimming the top of the stones to prevent injury. Feet touching the ground and hidden stairs appeared. Wondering if she should go down the wide stairs, she felt the sharp stones digging in to the back of her heels which made up her decision for her. Though what was going to be down there she had no idea. All she knew was that centaur and boy were there.
The passageway was lit up by torches and ended with three doors on each side and a steel one in the center. She put her ear against the door which led to the main room and heard voices. There was laughter and sounds of chewing. She listened harder and managed to make out words. It was the voice of the boy she saw before declaring his crush to a female voice. Laughter came from the centaur, his voice full of light-hearted mockery.
Natalie's breathing was ragged. She had never knew there was a commuinity of some sort down underneath the ground. Her eyes softened as the girl received the flowers and thinking the gesture and confession sweet. Natalie's mouth formed a smile which came to a mouth open in shock as Natalie fell down through the door into the main room.

Ryo blushed smiling wide. He was happy she had a crush on him too and laughed. When the door flew open Syku, twins, Ryo, and everyone looked over at the girl Natalie. "A human perhaps?" one asked being an elf.
"Nah be a mage at least." Another elf stated in a whisper. "Ryo looks human but he be a mage."
"true true that be." the first elf responded.
"Who be you?" Syku the centaur asked her as he stood and walked over to her. He bent down picking her up and held her up, looking her over and carried her bridal style in his arms. He walked quietly over with whispers going on about her being human as he walked over and sat her down in a soft chair by the fire. "It's okay if you're human. We won't hurt you."
"Much." Another shifter responded being in a wolf form then went to human with dragon talons for one hand to scare her.
"Silence Robert." Syku snapped at the male shifter glaring at him before looking back to Natalie with kind eyes. "It's okay. Mind him naught. He simply is speak not action he dares while I am around. What be your name? How did you get here?" he asked kindly, curious. "Are you hungry?"
"Don't give her any of our food. We be short as it is." The girl snapped with the crush on Syku.
"But we can always welcome newcomers and accept them, welcoming them warmly." Syku said calmly as she puffed her cheeks out muttering softly annoyed.

Brandi returned his smile, until the door flew open. She had gotten to her feet quickly in case it was trouble, but then sat on her hindquarters when she saw and smelled that the girl was a human.
Brandi looked at Ryo, then back at Syku and the new girl. The girl must have been startled or scared as is being on the creature side of the wall not to mention having people like Robert freaking her out. At times she didn't get why people had to be like that and scare people for no good reason.
Brandi sat there by Ryo waited to hear what the girl had to say and was watching to see what she would do. She was annoyed slightly at the single mindedness of some people. "Perhaps the girl would appreciate a nice place to sleep for the night along with something to eat and by the smell of it, I think she's hurt. I can smell blood." Brandi said softly to Ryo, not wanting to draw too much attention to herself.

Ryo looked to Brandi then looked at the girl, walking over to her and knelled and looked at her feet to see the blood. "Please hold still miss and I'll fix you right up." He said as he held a hand in front of her right foot, the debris left in it began to slowly exit, as he was being careful, trying not to hurt her as he began to mend the wounds once they were clean and clear of any outside items.
"Why would a human want to be around creatures? Don't they hate us? reason for the wall." The girl who had the crush snapped at Brandi, not being a fan of Brandi's.
"Shush Rose." Ryo ordered as he focused on the girl's right foot. Once he would finished he began working on her left foot as well to heal it. "How were you able to walk with these bad of wounds?" he asked curious.
