{image goes here} On a very hot day, a blue noodle crawled out of her large sand castle house. She loved the beach and everything around it. She always wanted to sleep on the beach that is why she was building a house made of sand. Now how you build a house out of sand is beyond me but she does. Ask her?
The sun shined bright and she was very hot. She ran to the water and splashed in the water. Ahh refreshing. She was glad the water was right there.

{FFFFFF- WHO DOES IMAGES? D;}
Odessa strolled along the beach leisurely, dipping her feet into the water while letting her tail drag in the waves that rushed up on shore. Her eyes darted through the sand nearby, searching endlessly for new seashells to stick in her hair as the current ones clacked quietly in the wind. Reaching up to pat them reassuringly she let her eyes drift a little ahead as she heard some splashing, wondering who could possibly be out in this heat. Her gaze caught something near the shoreline and she looked almost admiringly at the house of sand, wondering curiously how someone could build such a thing. Stepping hesitantly towards it, she noticed another noodle out of the corner of her eye, and pressed her paw nervously into the sand.
Oh no..... Not another one to misunderstand her; someone else to hate her because she didn't speak the same way they did. Perhaps this one spoke French? That would be almost too much to ask, she hadn't met anyone who understood her language, and it seemed most certain this one wouldn't either. "Oui, Odessa, elle ne parle pas francais..... Tu es la seule....."

Karis smiled as the wave carried her back up to her house. She seen a noodle inching towards it. "Hi there!" She smiled and walked towards the girl standing there eyeing her.

Odessa stayed silent as Karis got closer, looking her over and noticing the great big smile on her face. She wished that she could grin like that, even to smile at all would be a gift; it had been so long since she was able to smile without looking like a fool. Looking down, she nodded softly and picked up a shell laying under her feet, tying it into the string that held the rest of her hair together. "Mmmmm..... Hyper...... Happy..... Good aura....." she said softly, stepping forward to meet the girl. "He.....llo......" Fluffing her hair once more, she tilted her head and let the shells clack against each other lightly, touching the house gently as though it would fall down with one swipe of her paw. "Pretty..... Home....."

Karis smiled, "Oh i love the seashells in your hair." She watched as Odessa got closer to her house. "Thank you. I am still working on the house though." She paused and looked at the house. "OH! I have something that would look very lovely in your hair follow me." She walked into the house and into her shell collection. She stood by the pearl pink seashell (this color) on her sand shelf. "Do you like it?" She smiled warmly polishing the shell.

Odessa attempted to give her a smile this time, managing to curl up the ends of her mouth in what seemed to be a rather creepy grin, though something about the way her eyes dazzled made it seem genuine. "Thank..... y..ou...." she said softly, only slightly louder than a whisper, before letting her eyes examine the house carefully. The house was not finished, but it was amazing to her that something like this could be created with an item as simple as sand. She could not see how sand, of all things, could be used for shelter; one of the most vital things for life. "How.....?" The vixen breathed, following the other noodle without a moment of hesitation; suddenly feeling as though she was much less intune with the ocean than she realized.
Squeaking quietly as she bumped into Karis, Odessa looked over at the shelf, eyes widening with delight at the shell's beauty. "Oh....! I l....ove!" Hesitating for a moment, she glanced back at the girl before picking up the seashell and tying it just beneath the other bundle. Giving a small curtsey, she put her paw to her heart and whispered, "Mean...... So much....."

Karis smiled at her. "No problem, i find shells like these all the time, i go snorkling and deepsea diving for the ocean's creation of shells. " She still smiled. "OH! I should show you the place.. Well this is the shell room. Back in the back is the bedroom. I have a kitchen to the left. Oh and when its finished its going to have an aquriam linked to the sea. So i can see the lovely creatures and fish." She felt like she was rambling on so she quieted her tone. "And i would lovely to have you live her if you dont have a place to stay.." She covered her paw. "Oh im sorry if i offened you in anyway, to be completely honest its lonely her and you are my only friend." She looked at her with a sad serious look. "And i dont mind if you say no."

Odessa's eyes widened a bit as she began talking, wondering how many more beautiful shells like this someone could find deep in the ocean's waters. If only she had thought of trying snorkling before, she could gave seen all the treasures of the ocean; coral, shells, maybe even pearls! Oh, it was like this girl had been living her dream, and the vixen could only nod gently as she began to show her the house. It really did seem beautiful here, right next to the ocean, and so.... roomy; how did one build a sand home so big? "Lovely...." she repeated gently, peeking in each of the rooms as she described them, imagining what they would look like when finished.
As Karis went on, she allowed her ear to flick as though not hearing correctly, turning so that she could stare nervously at her- "Fri.....end?" She asked, confused and blushing deeply as though she couldn't get past the fact anyone wanted to associate with her. "L-Live...... here?" her paw pushed into the sand nervously as she spoke. She truly didn't have anywhere to go, but she barely knew this girl; there were things that needed to be done before they could be that close. "N-Name......?" Yes, that was the first thing she wanted to know, maybe they could decide this after they had gotten to know each other.

Karis smiled, "Oh my name is Karis. I have a longer name that when i was little my father gave me it was. Karis Océane Gordon. He is french, married my mother and had me. Then my mother killed him and ran off. She abandoned me on the beach here and i never learned french like i was suppose to. So here i am..." She paused. "Oh, im sorry for the long story. What is your name?" She smiled

Odessa watched her silently, eyes shimmering as she went on with her story; truly unable to believe any of it was true. This girl was French, perhaps she didn't speak the language, but she at least had the blood to prove it. "Pretty name..... Much sadness...... However...... Sorry....." How much terror this girl had seen, and yet she still didn't hide in her shell when strangers confronted her, which was very admirable indeed. Odessa herself immediately clammed up at the sight of any evil, so she could not believe that this girl could find the courage to put herself out there. "How..... Trust?" she asked softly, padding forward a few steps and watching the girl's every movement as if analyzing. "Je parle francais tres bien. Mais je ne sais pas comment enseigner. Oh! Je m'appelle Odessa." She blinked and nodded gently, feeling very much at home speaking the language of love.

Odessa tempted a smile, eyes glowing produly as she looked over the other noodle; the excitement seeping into her veins as it poured off Karis like a fountain. She nodded gently, at least the girl understood some of what she said, which meant she wasn't a total beginner like most. "I don't.... Know how..... Teach..... Lost on words....." Running her paw swiftly through her hair, the shells clacked gently again and reminded her of the time she had been taught French herself. It was easy for her to learn, for it was as though her tongue had just been waiting for the soft syllables of that language; but teaching someone else would be much harder. She could not speak the hard tones and bland sounds of English, so it would be complicated to translate sentences for the other girl. "Oui, merci beaucoup mon amie. Je pense ta nom est tres belle aussi. Ca va?" Tilting her head at the last part, she blinked a few times, wondering whether Karis would understand any of that.

Karis looked at her. "Um....Yeah i am sorry i didnt understand that. " She frowned. "How would you say, Would you like some tea? in french?" She paused, "and teaching would be easy like starting from the begining or something. " She smiled at Odessa.

Odessa sighed lightly and looked around for a moment before nodding; she knew their understanding would hit a block somewhere. Flicking her ear, she trodded a few steps away and sat down, dipping her paw into the sand and writing "okay" in fancy, but legible handwriting. This was how she would have to teach if it was ever to make sense, because her english was never going to get her point across to the other young vixen. "How are you?" she wrote underneath, blinking a few times before looking up at Karis, trying to figure out how to word the translation. "Voulez-vous the?" she said softly, thinking way back to the beginning, when she first learned French; trying to decide where you started in teaching a language. Hello? Goodbye? What's your name? This was going to be much harder then it seemed.....

Karis blinked at her as she wrote in the sand. "So i say Vou..lez..vous? for how are you" She paused. "Hold on i will be right back." She ran into the bedroom and looked under the bed. She crawled under the bed and started to dig a bit. Under the bed was a golden chest filled with some of her father's things. His books of french and his things he was going to teach her. Then she found a book of how to learn french. She grabbed that one and put it back in the chest and drugged it out to Odessa. She smiled at the girl. "This was my father's things. I remember that when i was little i use to sit and look at the pictures in the book." She pulls out a book from the chest. "This book teaches me the basics right?" She shows her the book, "but i dont understand how to pronounce...like..Hello."
